» | BACKGROUND:
      + Mina is born in Daegu, South Korea on December 9, 1994. Shortly after she was born, her family moved to Canada because of her parents' jobs. Mina's childhood was tough. She was often bullied by the other kids in her school because she looks different from them. They even started calling her "ghost" because of her pale skin and natural black hair & also called her a "nerd" because she always tops the class.

Mina stayed in Canada for twelve years before going back to Korea. When she started school in Korea, she didn't get high grades like she used to in Canada, which disappointed her parents. Although Mina is fluent in Korean, she was never good at writing it which caused her grades to fall down.

While she was walking from her school back home, SM scouted her. [this was when she was 15 btw] At first, Mina didn't want to join SM because she wanted to be a lawyer and she never liked performing but eventually after watching kpop videos, Mina got to like the thought of being an idol and she decided to give it a try.

During her trainee days, she doesn't have much friends because she's the shy type. Nobody approached her or at least said hi to her. Mina started to feel really bored and lonely. She started to envy the other trainees who gets along really well with others, she wished she had the courage to walk up to someone and say hi. After a few weeks, Mina decided her life would be really boring without a friend so she decided to approach someone and not wait for someone to approach her. The first one she approached was Red Velvet's Seulgi. Mina and Seulgi were the same age which made them get along better. They then started being good friends. When Seulgi debuted, she cannot help but envy her. Mina also wanted to debut as soon as possible so she worked hard every single day.

» | HOW THEY ACT ON STAGE: Mireille is looks very confident and charismatic on stage. She also looks very comfortable as if she was born to be on stage. Since Mireille is really clumsy, she usually trips a lot on stage but she's very good at being professional and covering it up. She tries her best not to be clumsy and ruin the whole performance. Mireille often winks or makes finger hearts while doing her parts for fanservice and fans love it. Mireille is very hardworking and patient. Whenever she forgets the choreography/lyrics, she would always try her best to improve and always telling herself that she can do it. Her expressions are her speciality. Mireille's expressions are always very natural and attractive which made people attracted to her.

» | HOW THEY ACT OFF STAGE: when off stage, mireille is shy yet very dorky. Mireille is usually sitting alone in the corner smiling or laughing while watching other people playing and having fun. She's not the type to like playing with others but she enjoys watching other people have fun. Mireille usually plays games on her phones or reads manga books alone when she's bored. When she's with a trainee she's close with, she would be a completely different person. From a shy innocent kitten to a lively beagle. She would be very dorky and would do weird stuff and laugh a lot. Mireille wouldn't show this side of her to someone who she's not comfortable or close with.
