Then I have something for you to mull over until said meeting: keep artist specifically that - artist talk. Professionalism. It's why it was originally put in place. Lounge has its purpose, use that for your bullshit.
If you're going to 'establish the work environment' then at least make it one. Don't cross the borders between work and leisure in the same channel.
And if you want communication? Involve everyone, not your little secluded group of 8.

@Jaymini never once was my issue on how people addressed each other.
My issue is how cocky you guys sound because of your so-called "VIP channel."
Literally the only people that care are you eight, and you make a big deal about it.

As for your 'work environment,' I recommend considering what I named earlier - it keeps things organized.
And for your 'communication?' Again, what I said earlier - involve everyone. Prevent that lack of communication. If all you do is hide in #artist and just fuck around, how will others know what is going on?

The reason we have #artist only for us is not to exclude anyone else from us or ourselves from you. But because we are separated department and we work on our own. Because of that nature of the job we became friends and we understand each other's humor. And also, because some of the graphics we have to make sometimes don't get posted or have to wait certain amount of time so having  less people in the channel provides more control of who sees it.

So yes, we talk there openly and joke around based on personal things. like Manvici said. And obviously you have a problem with the way we talk here, bc you think artist chat is VIP. We tried to do it in the #lounge today. And the result of that is this.(edited)
