Cottage Pie Recipe

1. Add cut onion and carrot to oil and cook until soft
2. Add minced beef, cook till browned
3. Add chopped tomatoes, puree, beef stock, thyme, and a bay leaf
4. simmer for 30 minutes and season with salt and pepper
5. Meanwhile boil the potatoes and mash with butter and milk. Season with salt and pepper.
6. Top the meat mixture with mash and cook until golden brown.
