Similar to "The Dirty Dozen" or one of that nature. Japan is trying to take over the world and the generals of the allied forces trying to stop the Japanese have been taken prisoner. A force of loners and fighters is put together to try and rescue the generals and save the war effort with the promise of gold and/or pardons of past crimes.
Set at some point during the thirties or forties, Japan is at war with China. During an attack on the Chinese forces, the Japanese capture four Western Generals. Fearing that if this news were to reach their troops it would affect their morale greatly, the Chinese hire Captain Don Wen to form a commando squad and get the Generals back in four days. Don decides to regroup his old squad (consisting of thief Old Sun, escape artist Grease Lightning, con artist Billy and his ex-girlfriend Lily, the bumbling and apparently unnamed General and his buddy Stone) one last time to get the Generals back. Don is apparently killed in an attack but the group continues on regardless, with the aid of ex-wrestler Sammy and his former manager Emily who trail the group to make sure they stay alive, so they'll have a share of the reward. Towards the end, the previously comical film takes a bizarre turn and climaxes at a Japanese bunker where the group go kamikaze and fight off a small army in the hope that the last survivor will be able to claim the reward. But are the Japanese the only villains?

Quebec Rating:13+ Canadian Home Video Rating:14A<br/><br/>I got fantasy mission force along with master with cracked fingers on VHS about five years ago.Don&#39;t be fooled by the cover saying that Jackie Chan stars in this film.He is only in the film for a couple of scenes however the scenes he is in are great and (spoiler) him and his business partner are the only ones in the film who do not die (End of spoiler).Jackie Chan may not be in this film very much but its still not too bad.This isn&#39;t really a kung fu film.Its more of a crazy action film with zombies,amazon women,men in kilts etc.THere are a couple of fight scenes but this isn&#39;t really a martial arts film.Its pretty funny how they have amazon women even though this film takes place in the 1940&#39;s.The film is about a couple of people in 1940s china during world war 2 looking for gold.However during this they get into plenty of misadventures.Fantasy Mission Force is a wild crazy movie and you just have to see it to believe it.But this is not a Chan film.<br/><br/>Runtime:90min <br/><br/>7/10
One of the most hilarious HK films ever!  Our heroes must rescue American commander Abraham Lincoln from the Japanese Nazis based in Europe during WWII, because Agent 007 was busy, The Bald Detective had defected to the enemy, Snake Plissken had been dead for three years, Rocky (yes, that Rocky) wouldn&#39;t be suitable for a military action, and Captain Black Fox (Brigette Lin in another movie that I haven&#39;t seen, Golden Queen Commando, I think) had retired to raise a family.  And along the way our heroes have to battle amazons and hopping vampires!  How can you beat that?  This film tends not to be liked by the Jackie Chan purists (he actually doesn&#39;t star in the film) but it&#39;s one I love.

The Japan-DVD features an extended cut of the movie. In several parts there are longer action sequences. These are not worth mentioning and will be interesting to collectors only, to whom this might be a good buy.  a5c7b9f00b
