Sure, I know some stuff about them, but.. I don’t know the why for a lot of things.
When I was young, I never really saw the most of my father, although I did sometimes.
He was a Luxray, and my mother was a Luxio.
I never really knew why she stuck with him, with all that I saw him do..
He didn’t treat her perfectly is all I’d like to say.
The only thing I was told when I asked my mother was that there’s more to him than what I’ve seen.
Whatever that ‘more to him’ part was, I never got to see it.

Out in the city, other than my father being gone a lot of the time, I guess stuff wasn’t all that bad.
I never really was interested in getting back with any of the people there because of..

It’s been a long time, and I’m different from that time.
I knew a lot of people, but that’s in the past.
Anyways, I guess I liked how stuff went for a while.
Nobody really ended up messing with me as long as I didn’t mess with them.
Stay out of their way, and they’ll stay out of mine.
Sure, I could ‘take them on’ like some people tried to threaten me with, but why bother?
I don’t need them.

My mother was always someone I thought I could just.. look up to, a damn lot more than my father.
She was nothing like him in a lot of ways, she cared, she was there, she knew what to do.
She was able to keep me alive, and she was the only real friend I had later on.

..My father.. I guess he was unique in his own ways.
He was always serious in so many different situations.
I never really liked a lot of it, but at the very least, he got stuff done. He actually did stuff.
For that, yeah, I had some respect for him, but that really didn’t end up lasting long.
He always had issues with himself, and it went to the point of anger.
Anger he couldn’t find a way to control himself and release in many other ways than physically.
A single mistake, and you could get him to the point of no control.
I more or less feared being around him, yeah, I’ll admit it. But who wouldn’t be?
He’s scary.

At some point, my father.. I guess, he was in one of those moods.
He went on a bit of a rage, but this.. wasn’t just the small ‘barely stops before an attack’ or an actual hit, it was.. nothing pleasant.
At that point, mother just.. couldn’t control him like she used to be able to.
And so he let it out, and.. it just got me to that point.
I hated in some ways what he was bringing our family to when he did this, how he should actually be trying to help us, instead of just being gone all the time.
I let it all out.
His reaction.. was just nothing pleasant.
He took it too far.
So I ran.
It was all I thought I would be able to do.
As soon as I saw his expression, I just knew.. he wasn’t going to hold back on what he would do next.
I didn’t want to give him the satisfaction of killing me.
I wasn’t going to let him hurt me more than he has.

After I ran, I guess.. I just didn’t know what to do.
It wasn’t long until I met another of mine, that Torracat…
...That’s not a story for another time.
All I want to say, she’s gone, the end of her.
And I was alone again.
Left to whatever I would be able to do in the future…
I wanted to know.
I wanted to know what happened to her, my mother, and what happened..
I wanted to explore…
I wanted to just.. Know.
That’s all I can say that I want to..
Just.. don’t go pressing me for all of this.

Personality
Attitude:
Whenever it comes to those around him that are new, often Solum tries to keep his distance from just about anyone if he hasn’t known them enough.
He’s quite actively at times on the move, preparing himself and travelling at short areas before setting out on a potentially long journey. He secretly has a great enjoyment of his adventure, although doesn’t always show this, seeming at times to more of just do it for his ultimate goal.
In some ways, he can seem to be a bit genderfluid in personality, sometimes changing to more of a feminine-like act to a masculine act.
When it comes to his curiosity, Solum has often shown to allow this to take control in some situations, wanting to know whatever he can about the world around him. This can take form in his explorations of the world, or even at times during a basic conversation with someone who knows more than him in areas of his interest.
Around those that he does get to know, Solum has shown to be often caring of them, always wanting to be of use and to be around those he trusts. He has tended to be possessive of people in some ways.
In whatever situation may arise whenever he is around, Solum has generally done whatever he could to solve an issue in a creative way, doing whatever he can to be original with whatever he does and have a fun way of doing it.
In many situations whenever he does involve himself with another in need, Solum has done what he could to be a generally gentle person with them, whether it be due to injury or something as basic as someone with a more bashful personality. Of course, he hasn’t always seemed to outwardly show a desire to associate himself with others.
Whenever it has came to his emotions, Solum has shown at times to be easy to bring into more of an annoyed or a saddened state, whether it be due to acts done around him or the memories of the past that brought him to where he was today.

Nature: Lonely.
Quirks: When it comes to those around him, Solum has shown at times to give people a nickname based off of what he knows about them or how he feels at the time, and often will stick to calling the person that, even though they have an already existing (nick)name. Solum has shown at times to care greatly about simple items that he has, most notably the scarf-like item he has on him.

Goals: Solum’s biggest personality goal is to stand out from those around him in a unique way. When it comes to what he will do in the future, he plans to search for wherever his family may be this day.
