- DnD Recap
- All of you had died, your souls departed from your body bound for the Ethereal Plane of afterlife but you were snatched and flung into a new plane that you’ve never encountered in your previous lives.
- You landed and were greeted by a priest and an official from the empire. The priest performed a baptism on all except Crack. The water your were bathed in filled your head with strange noise. The official then instructed you to meet with a nearby alchemist that lead you to Sepulchre, the capital of the empire where you were officially documented. While there, a chance encounter lead you to work for the captain of the guard, Illya, who became suspicious of the priests acting around Melisma. Upon arriving you talked your way into the main chapel and picked an iron door hidden behind the altar.
- This passage lead you to the goddess Canti, who froze the priests who ambushed you and Illya, and explained that she had no idea why you encountered crystallization on the werewolfs, but did identify the words you found as “True Names”, which is the power to pull from the fabric of magic the power of certain concepts by using their name in song, a power unique to the Intoners, the deities of this world.
- Canti made a pact that in return for finding information about this strange crystal phenomenon she would drop the Mistveil and allow you to travel to the Old Capital in the Reach, the homeland of the empire.
- After you explained this to Illya, she prepared a force to travel across the imperial channel and ferry supplies to the starving island. However you encountered snake men who tried to attack the island after the veil dropped, it ended in both sides being decimated though some Imperials survived, including Illya.
