  ⤿ Need some advice? Don't ask Minyoung, hell anyone is better than her at helping. She isn't someone to rely on if you haven't been with her for more than 4 years, she doesn't make other people her priority which is why many things she should do for others get neglected, not even necessarily on purpose, she just forgets things that aren't important to her. If she really thinks something is important and it gets into her brain, she might actually do it. On another hand, she isn't someone you can trust with your secrets, it's not like she spreads them, but she for sure might use them against you once she gets into a fight with you, she's that petty. Minyoung is someone who seems to disappear and blend into her surroundings, you think you know where she is, but once you think you saw her she's already gone again. The best thing to do when she's playing tricks on you is to watch out for yourself. When you can't see her, you should make sure that you're safe. Nobody really knows who Minyoung is and she would like to keep it that way, she knows that neither her personality nor her history are something to brag with so she would rather just stay mysterious.

  ⤿ Minyoung isn't a girl that keeps the promises she makes, and even less of a girl that's predictable. You often can get the feeling of knowing her, but in reality you really don't. Many believe that she's impulsive because of that, but it's really just her calculating all the different possibilities without you noticing any of the process going on in her head. She might show her bias towards one of the outcomes, but she can rapidly act different because she decided that she indeed prefers an other outcome over the one she was previously going for. It's hard to get a hold of her and read what's happening in her mind and the emotions that are very visible on her face only confuse you more once they do no longer go hand in hand with her actions. Sometimes she does that all on purpose though, she loves seeing confused faces looking her way whenever she does something shocking or even problematic, since she normally doesn't like being in the spotlight.

  ⤿ To Minyoung patience is key, as someone who picks locks that's the most important thing. She can't allow herself to get stressed when she's under pressure or working, she gives everything the time that it needs and when she's in her element you can annoy the crap out of her without her lashing out on you. She tends to show a very calm and collected side of herself, which makes it very hard for the others to know who she really is.Minyoung is a firm believer in the words 'time fixes everything' or at least she really hopes the saying is true, but don't believe that patience means that she isn't getting exhausted whenever things take longer than planned. She likes getting stuff done as fast as possible, yet doesn't mind taking a bit more time as long as it means everything will turn out well.

  ⤿ You should never try to catch Minyoung, you can't own her, she hates belonging to someone. Minyoung needs her freedom, it's the most important thing to her and she'd do anything to achieve it. Rules are not a line that can be crossed to her, to Minyoung rules simply do not exists, so there is no line to be crossed. In order to keep her freedom and prove that she is indeed free she acts reckless. Going against the odds is her guilty pleasure, it makes her feel better, as if she's done something in her life, as if she is really living her life to the fullest. To her rules are made to be broken, borders that have to be crossed so she can reach her utopia.
━ I LOST MYSELF AGAIN BUT I REMEMBER YOU
  ⤿ Because of all the things Minyoung went through she lost herself, she knows who she was, but doesn't recognize that person as herself anymore. She is pretty nostalgic without even realizing that herself. She used to feel emotions more vividly, but at this point of time she's pretty much calloused. Besides her old self she tends to remember other people very well, that way whenever someone owes her, she'll get back to them when she needs soemthing.

BACKGROUND:
━ FAMILY LIFE
  ⤿ Minyoungs family is quite a mess in a sense and I don't the positive sense at all. Her parents seem really picture perfect and look very handsome, but if you compliment them Minyoung will quickly shut you down with a simple "Yeah my mother's hands are very skilled.", which hints at the fact that Minyoungs mom is a cosmetic surgeon. Her mother loves beautiful people and is very much a perfectionist, she just wasn't born into a perfect body which is why she made so many adjustments. Minyoungs father wasn't born a handsome man either, he was quite ugly before lil' miss perfect got her hands on him. That's probably why Minyoung doesn't look like her parents at all, her mother told her that fixing Minyoungs face up a bit would make her more desirable, but Minyoung was always strongyly against getting plastic surgery done. Now the thing that is really strange to Minyoung is the fact that her older brother is very handsome, without any plastic in his face. Though her parents were married when Daeyoung (name of the older brother) was born it seems like Minyoungs mother cheated on her husband with a way more handsome man, who didn't want to take care of his biological son. Everyone in the family is aware of the fact that Daeyoung happened because Eunhwa (mom) slept with another man, but they act completely oblivious to it as it would make it seem as if he was unwanted. This makes Minyoung pretty damn angry, she is being displayed as the black sheep of the family while she really is the only one who's not extremely fake. Minyoungs family always pushes her self-esteem down and she absoulutely hates being at home and because she doesn't want her parents to be pleased with anything, she does everything in her power to make them mad about her actions.
━ SCHOOL LIFE
  ⤿ Minyoung was a decent student at first, she wasn't under the top 10, but she never dropped lower than average. She used to hang out with the girls that nobody really notices unless they actually speak up for once, she had a friendsgroup full of sincere and loving people, but that was until she decided to fuck it all up and ditch them. It was a pretty sudden decision but Minyoung thought that her friends are becoming more and more boring, so she wanted to change her life up a bit and the kids that had pretty bad reputations in school really caught her eye. When she approached the group of people for the first time they were suspicious about what she wanted from them, but Minyoung didn't let the dirty looks she got intimidate her and actually started to befriend them. Minyoung apparently especially caught the attention of one guy, Sunwon. He wasn't a very good influence on her to say the least, Sunwon had drugs, and a lot of them, but he didn't take any, he only sold them. Sunwon helped Minyoung with finding her place in the group and being frank, she didn't do the most legal things anymore. Besides helping Sunwon with the selling of drugs, she also started to pickpocket and pick locks. With a bit of help and tips she became one of the fastest when it came to cracking a lock.
Minyoung attended school less and less, her grades dropped more than they should've and her mother was pretty mad. When she got Minyoungs report card and saw the rank of her daughter she wa smor ethan furious, yelling at her how she should at least do well in school if she's already ugly. That was probably Minyoungs breaking point, her mother locked Minyoung into a small room and the girls started to panic, totally forgetting the fact that she can pick locks, she broke down and started crying, throwing herself against the door, begging to be let out, but her mother didn't listen and just left.
━ BREAKING POINT + REBELLION
  ⤿ Daeyoung got Minyoung out of the room eventually, when he saw the crying teenager he simply said "wow, you look worse than usual" with that Minyoung stood up and stormed out, heading towards her room, but Daeyoung grabbed her arm and pulled her back, telling her that he didn't mean it the way she might've interpreted it. She yanked her arm out of his grip and procceeded walking towards her room. Once she arrived she stuffed all the essential things into a spacious bagpack and went downstairs, aiming for the exit of the house she was living in. Daeyoung didn't want her to leave though, he seemed like the only one who really cared about her, yet she still pulled through with it and ignored him when he was yelling at her while she was getting farther and farther away from the house. Minyoung started spending more time at Sunwon's place and her brother still tried to reach her, but she gave him a hard time doing that.
While working with Sunwon, she sold a huge dosis of heroin to a girl and after that girl overdosed on it many members of the gang turned their backs on Minyoung. The only person that didn't leave Minyoung was Sunwon, he knew that it was his fault since he was the one who gave Minyoung the drugs, she only sold them. Minyoung is haunted by that incident and never gave out any drugs after that again.
━ CURRENTLY
  ⤿ Daeyoung got a hold of Minyoung after Sunwon more or less sold her out to him. Sunwon knew that the way Minyoung was cutting off wasn't how she would be happy, while still being considerate and keeping in mind how much she hates her parents. Minyoung had a huge fight with Sunwon after that, but he just took it in and kept calm. Daeyoung is also aware that Minyoung hates their parents now, so he always calls her whenever their parents are on vacations, so he can at least have her at home sometimes.
Her main income comes from breaking into places and selling the stuff she stole online.

RELATIONSHIPS:
━ Hwang Sunwon; the only friend she has left, though they clash and crash quite a lot, they get along quite well. Minyoung depends on him and only him, to her he's the only person she can trust, and he is the only person that can put trust into Minyoung. He's also a huge fuckboy, but you didn't get that info from me.
━ Yang Eunhwa; her mother and probably the person she hates the most, they can't be in a room together without fighting.
━ Yang Minsun; Minyoung's dad, he was always very passive and doesn't seem to care too much about her, she doesn't hate him, but she doesn't like him either. Minyoung feels hurt by him because he cares so little about her.
━ Yang Daeyoung; the only member of her family she gets along with, though he might be mean at times, he cares about her a lot. They act as if they hate each other but deep down they know that they can rely on each other.
