- I am on a university network which uses a socks, http and ftp proxy. The proxy also has authentication mechanism and asks for username password upon opening browser.
- I'm using a cisco wrt54g wireless router to send all my web-traffic.
- What I want is to be able to configure wrt54g or use squid to create a transparent proxy which would do all this (forwarding/adding the proxy support to each outbound packet).
- I have two questions:
- 1.) Is this possible? If yes, how?
- 2.) Would this help me access all the applications on my android phone using the university network?
