Final Space is an epic animated sci-fi comedy about a spaceman named Gary who is working off a prison sentence and makes a mysterious new alien friend, Mooncake, that he immediately bonds with. But what Gary doesn't know is that his adorable new sidekick is actually wanted by the sinister Lord Commander who will stop at nothing to use Mooncake's untapped powers for evil.
Gary Lockwood goes on intergalactic adventures with his planet-destroying sidekick Mooncake and anthropomorphic cat (and bounty hunter) Avocato. Together they will take on The Lord Commander and try to stop him from getting to 'Final Space': the most powerful and mystifying force in all the universe, which could very well mean the end of life itself.
This is the best first series that premiered this 2018, he was faithful to his animation of the pilot of the television series that as with the welcome to the wayne that kept his animation, I recommend seeing it because besides being a great potential, and candidate for be the best series for adults, has a good plot and fond characters, like mooncake, I WANT TO QUINN, I WANT COOKIES AND I WANT TO MOONCAKE
So yeah, what I started watching asI thought would be a funny space opera with a Futurama vibe, actually turned out to be an epic journey to save the universe, with action, love, drama and good comedy. The animation and soundtrack are great, as is the cast. This series can hold up to the best and got me craving for the end of the season 1 and hoping for a season 2.
