  284. Get Blue Key
  285.
  286.
  287. Use Flurrie to stun Pider on the way back. You can also walk on the southernmost part of the screen, but the Punies may fall down, so stunning the Pider is safer.
  288.
  289. Pick up Thunder Rage from the bush in the bubble room (leave the Punies here)
  290.
  291.
  292. Go back to cells and release all Punies.
  293.
  294.
  295. “Puni Glitch” down to the pipe below. It is luck if your count drops to 75 or 45 right away.
  296.
  297.
  298. Go back to bubble room and blow the 91 Punies across
  299.
  300.
  301. Run by Pider in the narrow passageway room using Flurrie
  302. Reveal Hidden block below Damage Dodge P with Koops (switch fast)
  303.
  304.
  305. Note: You can hit the invisible block with your hammer, but you have to be in a very specific spot, and if you waste too much time setting up, the Pider will scare the Punies. Koops is recommended.
  306.
  307. Note 2: If Damage Dodge P goes out the left side, grab it quickly and go into the next loading zone before the punies get scared. If it goes out the right side of the block, you’ll have to skip it. There’s a backup badge later on to collect.
  308.
  309.
  310. 100 Jabbi fight
  311.
  312.
  313. Goombella Buffer

  315.
  316. Puni glitch to the pipe in the next room.
  317.
  318.
  319. Use Koops to hit Blue switch in water room
  320.
  321.
  322. Note: If you time it right, you can hit the switch at the same time you go down the pipe, which saves time on the pipe traversing cutscene. This is somewhat risky if you time it too early.
  323.
  324. Note 2: It is luck-based, but you can use the Puni glitch across the platforms and go down the pipe, skipping the scene to lower the water. I don’t recommend this.
  325.
  326.
  327. Go down pipe and place Puni orb in the next 2 spots to reveal Crystal Star Leave the punies in the pillar and start the first escape
  328.

  334.
  335.

  337.
  338.
  339. X-Nauts
  340. Mario: Fright Mask
  341.
  342.
  343. Escape to front of tree

  360.

  424. -1 Fire Flower
  425.
  426.
  427. Chapter 3
  428.
  429.
  430. Note: If you get “Use at least 1 special move” you should almost always fail an earth tremor, as it is the fastest thing to do. If you don’t have enough SP for an earth tremor, it is faster to sweet treat rather than appeal for enough to do an earth tremor. This is also a good backup strat to regain HP/FP if you need it.
  431.
  432. Note 2: Jumping while waiting for the guards delays him from entering the room. Try to avoid doing any actions during this time aside from equipping badges/changing partners.
  433.
  434.
  435. *Glitzville*
  436. Go inside the lower lobby doors
  437. Sign up to be a fighter
  438.
  439.
  440. For the 5 fights you use fright masks on, you only have 1 extra. Do not waste your extra unless it is absolutely necessary. You need 1 star point from these battles to not be over-leveled, but it is ok to normally kill some enemies. You have a buffer of 12 star points.
  441.
  442. 4 Text Boxes to each condition
  443. Use Honey Syrup if needed - if you get perfect conditions you wont need to use it
  444.

  446. Standard: Mario: Appeal, Koops: Power Shell
  447.
  448. #18 KP Koopas (2 KP Koopas, 1 KP Paratroopa)

  476. No Items: Quake Hammer + Power Shell
  477.
  478. #11 Bomb Squad
  479. Standard: Fire Flower (Fright Mask if overlevelled)
  480. No Items: Multibounce + Power Shell
  481.
  482. Note: If you got more than 12 extra star points from chapter 3 fights, use your last fright mask here to fix leveling. If you’re overleveled, it’s ok, it just means you will have to take a 30 second loss in Chapter 4.
  483.
  484. You will typically level up here or on Armored Harriers.
  485. Level Up! (BP > 6)
  486.
  487.
  488. Go outside to get Yoshi egg
  489. (Email before going inside)
  490.
  491.
  492. Armored Harriers - 6 text boxes to condition
  493. #10 Armored Harriers (before Yoshi)
  494. Mario: Run Away
  495.
  496.
  497. Note: If you get “Appeal at least once”, “Appeal 3 times”, “Take damage at least ‘n’ times” or “Use at least 1 special move”, you must fulfill battle condition before you run away or else you will fight rank 12 which is randomly generated between minor league fighters.
  498.
  499.
  500. Yoshi hatches and joins your party
  501.
  502.
  503. #10 Armored Harriers (after Yoshi)
  504. Standard: Gulp
  505.
  506.
  507. Enter Major League
  508.
  509. Pick up Ice Storm in locker room
  510. #9 Tiny Spinies (2 Red Spike Buzzy Beetles)
  511. Standard: Failed Quake Hammer, Gulp
  512. Don't Attack With Mario: Gulp + Superguard
  513. Don't Use Hammer: Earth Tremor
  514. Don't Attack With Partner: Earth Tremor
  515. Don't Use FP: Earth Tremor
  516.
  517. Sleep in the bed if at 0FP
  518. #8 Poker Faces (2 Bristles)
  519.
  520. Standard: Quake Hammer
  521.
  522. Note: You’ll want to fail this condition no matter what so you start de-ranking immediately. Getting “don’t use hammer” is good luck here. If you get something like “don’t switch partner out” then swap with partner and then quake hammer. Or if you get “don’t use items” then use your honey syrup. You just have to disobey what he says and figure out the fastest way to beat them.
  523.
  524. Note 2: Sometimes this fight will be Shell Shockers, although it is rare. This is bad luck and you just have to attack them until they’re dead. They do more damage when on their backs!
  525.
  526.
  527. After you get to rank #8, Get Super Hammer
  528. Break Block in Minor League locker room
  529. Get Dubious Paper confiscated
  530.
  531.
  532. #8 Poker Faces
  533. Fail condition and run away
  534.
  535. #9 Tiny Spinies
  536. Fail condition and run away
  537.
  538. #10 Armored Harriers
  539. Run Away
  540.
  541. You’ll want to manipulate your HP to be as low as possible and FP at least 3. You can rest up before Armored Harriers fight and let them damage you a few times to put yourself in a good position.
  542.
  543. Once you are back in minor league (deranked to #11), leave Glitzville
  544.
  545. In rogueport, if you still don’t have Mega Rush, check Charlieton again. If he’s not selling it, just head to east rogueport and go into the sewers.
  546.
  547. Head down to the room with the big yellow block and 2 blue switches and open Chapter 2 (left pipe).
  548.
  549. Chapter 2 (part 2)
  550.
  551. Head down in The Great Tree to the cage room and break the floor panel inside the cage. This will revert the game back to chapter 2. Leave the way you came from and head back to Glitzville. Open Chapter 1 pipe on your way back.
  552.
  553. IMPORTANT: If you are not at 1HP, fall in the sewer water to put yourself in peril. If you do not have at least 3 FP, buy a honey syrup from the Rogueport shop and use that.
  554.
  555. Check Charlieton again on your way back. If he’s still not selling it (that jerk) then go to the train/blimp area to reset what he’s selling and come back and check. Keep doing this until he has it.
  556.
  557. Chapter 3 (part 2)
  558.
  559. When you restart chapter 3, it’s kind of hard to explain what to do with the text, but basically you want to advance one text box as another comes on screen to delay the opening cutscene and let the yoshi egg cutscene finish out first.
  560.
  561. Here’s a video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2mv09HI2ZF4
  562.
  563. If you did it right, the Rawk Hawk cutscene in the ring will happen. This means you correctly reverted the game to the beginning of Chapter 3.
  564.
  565. Go to Grubba’s office just like before. When he’s walking to the Champion room, you’ll run into a guard before the cutscene takes you. This is normal.
  566.
  567. When he asks you to sign up to be a fighter, MAKE SURE YOU DO NOT SIGN UP.
  568.
  569. Now you can walk around his room. Do Bookcase Jump and walk into the vent
