i have no idea why some of you guys are voting against giving out gold; all it does it set up unnecessary paywalls that Keepers/etc ened to be bugged to help people hurdle over

As it stands the only thing MMO gold is being used for is Bank slots, guild tabards and a couple tabards on vendors that cannot otherwise be obtained
The ideal situation is we transition those to Silver costs but that obviously can't be done with Guild Tabards or Bank Slots
I think, honestly, players should start with just an assload of gold

I see both sides of the coin and both are very valid. I just side more with the other option is all. I have not required any in game gold. I am surprised guild tabards are not available through repository vendor.

I'm of the opinion you don't need more than one bank slot. Mainly, that was the cause of my vote. I don't know how to fix the guild tabard issue. Players starting with enough to make their own would just make it a 'trade' thing that people would trade off for other goods making it a currency.

One side, bank slots being limited was a goal as I understood it, same with inventory thus the cost for bags. Other side, making guild tabards is necessary. I can say that guild leaders get a certain amount of gold when the draft is approved.
But that limits any guild tabard changes too.
