  1. 1. Rule Enforcement will be carried out and enforced by Ops and Channel Owners
  2. -- These rules exist, and they will be enforced.
  3. -- Interpretation of rules is up to the presiding Op, marginally. These exist for a reason.
  4. -- If you feel you are being unfairly targeted by an Op, discuss it with another Op and it will be
  5. discussed amongst the staff.
  6. 2. Respect your fellow RPers
  7. -- This is a community and everyone has the right to enjoy their time here, but participation is a
  8. privillage. Common courtesy is expected for all participants.
  9. 3. Keep it PG-13
  10. -- There are younger members of the community, and some actions are in fact too explicit to be taking place
  11. in public channels. A public channel is defined for intensive purposes as being a channel not marked +S under mode.
  12.
  13. -- Examples of unacceptable: Sexually explicit activity, extreme violence, gore. Detailed depictions of
  14. violence or sexual acts will not be tolerated.
  15.
  16. -- Examples of acceptable: Kissing, making out *to a degree*(If it teeters into explicit, see above for
  17. unacceptable.), violence is determined on the action and those involved, but player consent and common sense should be applied when determining if it falls into 'extreme violence' or 'gore' catagories. If in doubt, ask an OP first, or take it to a private room for resolution.
  18.
  19. -- Language: Anything that would fall under sexually explicity or excessive. The fandom reflects a comic
  20. where vulgar language is used, and it is expected to a degree, however, please use discression.
  21.
  22. 4. Communication
  23. -- There are some instances where other players are allowed in 'free for all' interactions between
  24. characters, and other situations where it would be considered rude for another player to randomly intervene in circumstances. If you aren't sure, ask one of the players involved if it would be alright for your character to get involved first.
  25. -- Private Channels: Sometimes the link to a private channel may be posted by someone in a public
  26. channel. Please check with the original poster if you would be allowed in, as some players may not want any and all to be present.
  27. -- Plots and story elements between characters may spill over into some public channels, but if there is
  28. already activity going on in said channels, please ask first if it would be alright with those present if it would be disruptive to continue plots started in other rooms.
  29. -- OOC/IC Interaction: Some situations may permit 'shenanigans' of a sort, for the general part, if
  30. people are engaged in RPing, treat the room as though it were a movie in process. That is, keep the commentary down and take it to the OOC Room of #Pesterlite. Quick notes, usually depicted with brackets, or other OOC notifiers, may be made if a situation comes up that addresses it, but please, do not make it routine to interrupt character interactions by 'Muns'.
  31.
  32. 5. Rule Enforcement
  33. -- If it seems two players or more are getting out of hand, please contact an Op and let us handle the
  34. situation. We'll see what measures need to be taken if any, and go from there. Reminders of the rules is acceptable, but please do not take the law into your own hands, aka, mini-modding. We're here for a reason.
