  1. This email is in reference to penalty charge and that are issued in my name. The registration number of the vehicles are ………. … and dates of the charges are ……....... and the amount of payment was ………
  2. I’ve called to TFL on a several of occasions regarding the above penalty charges to explain that the vehicles were no longer in my possession. TFL was relentlessly chasing me for the payment of these penalty charges which I’m not responsible for and keep sending me the penalty charges to my address in my name. I’ve ended up making the payments to prevent damaging my credit history as advised by the member of TFL customer services and I was assured that once I provide the evidence from the DVLA proving the ownership of the vehicles, then I would be able to claim a refund.
  3. When I received the Acknowledgement letter from the DVLA confirming that the vehicle is no longer in my name, I’ve called TFL and was advised to forward it to the email address provided ……….
  4. However, I’ve not received any response regarding the reimbursement that I was promised and now I’m at a loss of how to proceed with the matter.

I believe they should request the status of the ownership of these vehicles from the DVLA and regardless of my explanation. was advised to make the payments for the penalty tickets until the DVLA processing of the paperwork/logbook, and once it was proven I would then claim refunds as I was not the owner of the vehicle at the time of traffic offences incurred. I then proceeded making the payments
