At the same time, a poll is not good either when it comes to picking staff. A big problem with Chronet is that a lot of good staff members were denied and a lot of bad members were accepted because of the general will. It shouldn't be a popularity contest. The poll is meant to influence the decision in naming someone staff, not necessarily be a defining factor. But that's just my opinion.
