≫ PERSONALITY:
Mio is surprisingly mischievous and loud, doing whatever she can to annoy others. Most people don’t expect it from her but she loves teasing the members and doing minor pranks on them. She still is a lot of fun though and loves playing with the others  or even just running off on an adventure by herself if nobody else wants to. However the one thing that annoys Mio the most is the idea of letting down a person or cause they believe in. If it’s possible, she can always be counted on to see her goals through. Along with her reliability and mischievousness is her massive charisma and enthusiasm. She instinctively knows how to capture an audience, and pick up on mood and motivation in ways that allows her to communicate with reason, emotion, passion, restraint or whatever the situation calls for. Her enthusiasm is what can lift the spirits up in any room as she always tries her best to make everyone happy even if it doesn’t work. Optimism is basically her middle name as it radiates off of her in a sense, even if she isn’t always optimistic she tries her best to always seem optimistic to keep everyone around her motivated. Plus her strong personality is one of the reasons she’s extremely confident, always trying to think positively about herself. Unlike some people, she has no problem with being the centre of attention or expressing her opinions. This is probably the reason she will do aegyo whenever she wants to without feeling embarrassed. However with good personality traits always comes bad ones like despite Mio being rather confident in what she does, she has a fluctuating self esteem. ≫ BACKGROUND:
Mio doesn’t really have an interesting background as it only really lasted until she was 12, then she started training. She had done acting and performance classes from a young age and always wanted to be some type of performer when she got older but that didn’t stop her from having a normal childhood. Her whole childhood was trying to stay out past her bedtime with her friends at the Park next to her house, obviously it didn’t work and she always ended up going home. She never really cared much about School and was probably the only one in her class that didn’t care because she knew that studies weren’t really important for her to be an actress and her parents acknowledged that even if they wanted her to do better in school. It wasn’t until she was 10 that she realised she should take School a bit more seriously. After the realisation she tried a lot harder at school and had to drop acting classes because of it. A couple of years later her friend and her decided to audition for an entertainment agency, mostly for fun because she never expected to get through but her friend actually got through. It was a surprise because of how young they were, they weren’t even teenagers yet. She had to say goodbye to her friend as he left for Seoul but she wasn’t too sad. A few months later she auditioned for yg and once she started training she wondered how anyone could survive training. She was practicing for over half the day and the other half was spent at school or getting the little sleep she could plus she was basically alone, she didn’t have time to see her family often. ≫ HOW DID THEY GET INTO YG?:
Originally she was going to audition for pledis but her parents thought she was too young at the time. It took her a long time to convince her parent to let her audition and she was lucky that there was actually an open audition for pledis a week later. Her and her friend Mingyu had both auditioned but she wasn’t accepted. Not long later however there was open auditions for YG Entertainment so she decided to audition again. This time there were a lot more people and her 12 year old self was very intimidated and nervous however she was lucky and was accepted as a trainee.

≫ HOW DO THEY ACT ON VARIETY SHOWS?: she’s very enthusiastic and always joking around. Mio is very fun and energetic and talks pretty often, because what’s quiet. She tries to take part as much as possible and will make sure it never gets boring.
