  1. Mechanics
  2. Waterlogging: Now exists as a separate version for wood/fuel blocks and items, etc, any placed world blocks or item entities when in water or rain, will transform into waterlogged versions, i.e "Waterlogged Log". These have half the furnace burn-effectiveness but can be dried out via campfires, furnaces or instantly in the Nether.
  3. Night/Lighting: Torches now have durability and lose 1 durability per tick when in mainhand/offhand, however, their durability is huge, 11000, so they last a full night in length. Night time is now much more dangerous, especially without a light source in hand (thanks to dynamic hand lighting planned) or being near a light source such as a campfire. When in light levels less than 7, Charlie has a high chance of spawning, she is hostile and the only way to ward her is to remedy your lack of lighting. Charlie does six hearts of damage per attack (65% of your max health) so can easily kill you if you get unlucky enough to end up without lighting nearby
  4. Hunger: Hunger now drains slowly when the player is even idle, putting an emphasis on having a constant supply of food so you know, you...Don't Starve.
  5.
  6. Items
  7. Manure: Dropped by animals, this acts as a twice as potent form of bone meal
  8. Guano: Dropped by Bats. Three times as effective as bone meal.
  9. Rock: The mod's main crafting material among others, dropped by Boulders. 3 Rocks will turn into Cut Stone in a crafting area.
  10. Tallbird Egg: A large blue avian egg with white spots. Is cookable and restores quite a bit of hunger.
  11. Monster Meat: I don't recommend eating this...but can be used in food recipes in a pinch.
  12. Silk: Crafting material/mob drop from Spiders, also obtainable via Web Blocks from Spider Dens.
  13. Spider Gland: Healing item. Consumed when used and heals two hearts.
  14.
  15. Tools
  16. Pitchfork:
  17. Craftable via a Science Machine, 200 durability (1 durability per use) and is used to gather turfs such as the aforementioned Rocky Turf. Can be used as a weapon and does 4 hearts of damage but consumes eight durability each hit
  18.
  19. Blocks
  20. Farmland: No longer made via tilling, you must craft cut grass with manure and logs to make farmland
  21. Cut Grass: Obtainable from tall grass. Combine three with two logs to make a campfire or two with two sticks to make a torch. Cut Grass has a lot of recipes uses.
  22. Cut Stone: Chiseled/cut stone made from some rocks. Used as decor and a construction/requirement for some items.
  23. Rocky Turf: The natural top-layer block of the Rockylands biome. Can be crafted with Planks to produce Cobblestone. Harvestable via Pitchforks, halfway hardness/blast resist between stone and grass, can be used as furnace fuel, slightly flammable.
  24.
  25. Utilities
  26. Science Machine:
  27. Basic crafting station, craftable using one gold nugget, four rocks and 4 logs of any kind. Is used to make other stations and recipes, such as Pitchforks and Alchemy Engines
  28.
  29. Biomes
  30. Rockylands: A land made out of stone and with tallbird nests. This biome has semi-common strange boulders that seem to contain plentiful amounts of gold, rocks and flint. Rockylands also occasionally generate with one or two Spider Dens.
  31.
  32. Structures
  33. Boulder: A misshapen huge rock. Boulders are three blocks in size and each block in a boulder drops one Rock and a 50% chance to drop Flint.
  34. Gold Vein Boulder: A tall boulder with visible gold veins. Gold Vein Boulders come in a size of three blocks, so each block drops one Rock, three Gold Nuggets and a 50% chance at Flint.
  35. Flintless Boulder: A boulder with no flint. Drops two rocks instead.
  36. Spider Den: Starts as a tier-1 variant, which is the smallest. Spider Dens are semi-medium structures that are spider spawners surrounded by web blocks, which drop Silk. It may be viable to contain Spider Dens instead of destroying them to farm resources. Spiders in this mod drop Silk, Monster Meat and Spider Glands along with their normal vanilla loot tables.
  37.
  38. Mobs
  39. Tallbird: Aggressive thin and tall mob. Always hostile and will chase if you attempt to steal their eggs
