06[19:36] * Alex sits, writing on a pad as he waits in the infirmary for news of Marguerite, hoping she isn't... badly damaged...
[19:37] <Blind_Gardener> Margurite are in medbay at the moment. A bunch of burly nurses had loaded Margurite into a gurny, and carried her off. While she's in the Nerv facility, officially at the moment she's under UN health provisions
06[19:37] * Marguerite returns to consciousness rather slowly, whispering what sounds like a French prayer.
[19:39] <Blind_Gardener> Mrs Curlinson is standing over you, Marguerite, scowling at the medical personell
[19:40] <Blind_Gardener> "So, what exactly happened?" she asked gently "I heard you collapsed after using the simulator?
06[19:41] * Amy is walking unaided again. Still has an eyepatch though. She's in the infirmary yet again, this time as Alex's company, also waiting for news on Marguerite.
06[19:41] * Marguerite purses her lips a moment and opens her eyes. "Aie . . . that hurts. . ."
06[19:44] * Alex holds Amy's hand, partly to reassure himself. "I hope Marguerite is okay. Losing a pilot would put us at a significant disadvantage."
03[19:45] <Amy> "Also, she's our friend."
[19:46] <Alex> "I thought that was needless to say."
[19:46] <Marguerite> "Madame Curlinson. . . aie, aie. . . did they fix the MAGI yet?"
03[19:46] <Amy> "That's never needless to say."
06[19:46] * Alex nods. "She is our friend, then. I care about her much."
06[19:47] * Blind_Gardener snorts
[19:48] <Blind_Gardener> "They'll never fix the MAGI. The MAGI was broken before it was installed, and our replacement options are all unsatisfactory"
[19:48] <Blind_Gardener> "I'm more concerned about their progress in fixing *you* dear"
[19:48] <Alex> "I only wish she reciprocated," he adds almost as an afterthought. "But I will do my best to help her obtain what she wishes."
[19:48] <Blind_Gardener> "How do you feel? Is your head ringing?
03[19:49] <Amy> "I don't understand either of you."
06[19:49] * Marguerite mutters, shaking her head. "Mmf.. mal a la tete. . . mais, I only hurt, I wasn't actually injured. If, the MAGI are broken, is the simulator fixed?"
06[19:50] * Alex perks up his ears. "Do you hear that?"
[19:51] <Blind_Gardener> "No, you are *not* to use the simulator for at least three days according to the medics"
[19:51] <Blind_Gardener> "You overloaded your sensory system"
03[19:51] <Amy> "Hear what?"
06[19:52] * Marguerite winces. "I just fainted. It hurt. I've passed out after track meets."
06[19:52] * Blind_Gardener hugs Marguerite tightly "And you are *not* to worry me like that again if you can help it, you foolish girl"
[19:52] <Alex> "That. It's... I believe Marguerite is awake," Alex says, standing up and pulling Amy with her to her room.
06[19:52] * Marguerite chokes a little, squeaking in pain. "Aie, aie, Madame, that.. aieeee. . ."
06[19:53] * Amy is dragged!
06[19:54] * Alex pokes his head into the room. "Marguerite?"
[19:54] <Blind_Gardener> You enter the room to see Mrs Curlinson bearhugging Marguerite
04[19:54] <Alex> "We're here to see you," he says, Amy right next to him.
06[19:54] * Blind_Gardener gently puts the small fragile girl down
06[19:54] * Blind_Gardener pats her head
[19:54] <Blind_Gardener> "Your friends are here to see you"
04[19:55] <Marguerite> "H..." Marguerite begins to shiver, seeing Alex, but smiles. "Hello. Amy, how are you feeling?"
03[19:56] <Amy> "Better. Thank you for asking. Alex is the one that brought me."
06[19:56] * Alex just sighs as he notices Marguerite's reaction, puts down his pad for Marguerite, and leaves.
[19:57] <Marguerite> "A-alex!" Marguerite panics, and . . .
06[19:57] * Marguerite rolls out of bed, hitting the floor hard with a squeal.
06[19:58] * Blind_Gardener fails to catch her before she falls
06[19:58] * Blind_Gardener gently lifts Marguerite again, and quickly checks her over for further injuries
06[19:58] * Alex pokes his head back into the room. "Marguerite, please do not injure yourself further."
06[19:59] * Amy stares.
06[19:59] * Marguerite tries to break away, wincing as her bruised calves flex. She calms when Alex returns. "Th...then stop trying to leave. Or I'll beg Amy to hold you down."
[19:59] <Alex> "You shiver in repulsion at the mere sight of me. You do not wish me to be here."
06[19:59] * Alex re-enters the room anyway.
03[20:02] <Amy> "This is no longer amusing."
03[20:02] <Amy> "Curlinson, would you like to help me with something?"
06[20:02] * Marguerite swallows drily. "I'm just scared of making you mad! You boys don't make any sense. . ." She swoons a little, then looks to Amy. "Amuse . . .?"
06[20:03] * Amy whispers to her.
06[20:04] * Alex looks at Marguerite, thinking for a second. "It would take a deliberate effort to infuriate me. You need not worry about that." He picks the pad off the counter and presents it back to Marguerite. It's a... very detailed training schedule. Rigorous, too, but not overly dangerous.
04[20:06] <Blind_Gardener> "Alex... Please stay here with Marguerite for a while... maybe an hour or so, Amy thinks you two need to work some things out, and I suppose I agree. Though Marguerite's painkillers will kick in soon, so now's really not the best of times"
03[20:06] <Amy> "Better than letting it fester further."
06[20:06] * Alex nods. "I have consulted with the nurses and taken it into account. We will not start training immediately."
[20:06] <Alex> "And as to other things, I am unsure what you refer to."
06[20:07] * Marguerite she takes it, still trembling, and props herself against the edge of the bed with one hand, reading over the contents of the tablet. "C'est . . . hmm. . ." She looks up, winces briefly.
[20:07] <Blind_Gardener> "That's for Marguerite and you to work out. Stay here for a while" *pats Alex's head, kisses Marguerite's forhead*
03[20:08] <Amy> "Well said."
06[20:09] * Alex continues to stand next to Marguerite wordlessly, eyes scanning the three others, trying to figure out what they're up to...
[20:10] <Marguerite> "It needs more gun practice," she finally says, shivering. "And I'm going to ask for a better weapon on 02. Preferably one that doesn't require me to roll onto my hind legs."
03[20:11] <Amy> "If my presence here is no longer required, I have been ordered to attend therapy. I'm glad to see you're alright, Marguerite." Amy pats her shoulder. "Alex, please do not leave."
06[20:11] * Alex nods in the affirmative to Amy. "Be well."
06[20:11] * Marguerite seems to sharpen a little as the painkillers stablize her. She nods to Amy. "Thank you for coming to see me, amie. Feel better."
[20:11] <Blind_Gardener> "I shall be staying here as... chaperone to keep you two from killing each other"
[20:12] <Alex> "Marguerite, Notice the wild spots that allow you to pick a training activity. The rest of the schedule has been designed to bring you to a competent marksmanship level; if you wish to train more in firearms, simply select as such then."
06[20:12] * Marguerite grins. "I can't fight Alex, and he'd run away from me before attacking~"
06[20:12] * Amy slips out. "Good luck. Please let me know if you make progress."
06[20:12] * Alex sighs. "I have put myself through additional fear desensitization training. I can assure you anything like that will not happen again."
[20:13] <Alex> He seems... slightly annoyed, but lets it pass (or maybe just hides it quickly).
06[20:14] * Marguerite nods, still grinning. "I'm making a joke, oui?"
