The creature's "birthplace" is a mountainous/plateau filled desert region.  More specifically she was created out of a massive chaotic maelstrom in the desert and has grown entirely around other creatures similarly spawned from this mess of chaotic energy warping everything around it.  I intend her to be either a potent threat if angered or a valuable ally if befriended, so while it will start off as a "joke encounter" player choices could very well spell out their doom.  I don't plan for any sort of romantic nonsense out of this, but the "tsundere" label is the best way to describe how she'll act around the party due to her uncertainty and inexperience with good aligned creatures.  Though she'll be good at sneaking about, she doesn't need to be "stealthy" or easily camouflaged by nature, eg wild colors are perfectly fine.
