  1. Gentleman and ladies, what we have here is a failure to communicate between not only you and your players but seemingly yourselves in designing this event. The issue before us is the wording, or in this case lack thereof, in the tutorial presented to us for this new style event. Not myself but a friend of mine will be screenshotting the tutorial for the next even in order to eliminate the conundrum that faces us now, which is the fact that while, yes, we were told to collect shards on each island, not only were we not told that X number were required to finish the event but the mechanic used to randomly place bananas every ten minutes meant some frozen birds could be ignored while still being able to finish the island. I will ignore the improperly placed boxes of bananas and that one bird on island six for now; even though they were made unreachable, the final goal could still be accomplished.

  3. You should see where I'm heading with this, especially considering not only my previous emails but the countless dozens or more that you have most certainly received from other players either via the get help button or posts in various groups, many of which have been unceremoniously deleted in what appears to be an attempt to ignore the issue that there are MANY players unable to complete the event. Some, like myself, are actually stuck on the bonus island unable to collect good deed points for well over a week. This is unacceptable. I have it on good authority that you have the power to grant players the shards needed to finish and move on and in some cases you have done it and in others you have not. Why the double standard here? If all players are supposed to be on equal terms, as you stated in your previous message, why have you banished some of us to the bonus island when there are flowers wilting and dying?

  5. At this point it's not about the final upgrade, it's about making things fair and equal for every player. If given the opportunity I'm sure we'd be more than happy to go back to previous islands and collect the shards that are apparently needed, even though we were never told in any fashion that they would be so important and lead to this issue. This is not our fault. I dare say that many if not most of us love this new style of event and give thanks for all the effort that went into creating it but I must backtrack a bit and say I am not impressed with how it was tested, if at all. You have given us a wonderful thing but for it to start out so well to finish so horribly is an insult not only to the players but to the people who worked so hard to attempt to bring this event to fruition. It was released bugged and incomplete, just as our quests have become. There must be a way to resolve this in a fashion that suits not only the players affected but the development team as well. I urge you to look past the easy solution of "well, we could fix it but choose not to" and put an end to this before you lose players, many of whom have not only played for years but have devoted their time and hard-earned money into this wonderful game.

  7. To paraphrase the character Switch from the first Matrix movie "Don't let it end like this. Not like this..."
