  1. May 13: Deep cleaned upper restrooms. Vacuumed outside restrooms. Collected trash and vacuumed outside offices. Washed out recycling bins (may need to do this again), Collected garbage and wiped surfaces in Student Life, cleaned restrooms in Student Life, mopped back 2F hallway, and collected garbage & quick cleaned lower restrooms.

  3. May 14: Cleaned furniture and glass in game room and nearby hallway out to balcony. Cleaned computers and furniture/glass next to computers. Wiped down glass in area outside Student Life and part of the glass barrier outside Student Life. Some of it was too high for me to reach so it is not complete. Also cleaned both elevators. (Some of the glass/elevators still looked smeary so I will likely do at least that part again sometime).

  5. May 15: Vacuumed game room and nearby hallways. Vacuumed outside offices and hallway (did not move things in offices to vacuum). Vacuumed quiet study room and side office. Began to clean furniture and glass in side office (finished) and quiet study room (not finished). Re-cleaned some glass that still looked dirty from yesterday and re-cleaned elevators again. Also inspected fire extinguishers (see separate work order).

  7. May 16 - Completed an online training course. Finished cleaning class and furniture in quiet study room and side office. Re-cleaned some glass, stainless steel, and elevators in middle area. Cleaned restrooms and collected trash from outside offices. Began to clean furniture and glass in ballrooms (not finished).

  9. May 17 - Collected trash from offices and cleaned restrooms. Also collected trash from Student Life. However, I was later told I don't need to do this from now on as someone else does it in the early morning. I finished cleaning furniture in the ballrooms where I could. It appears to be set up for an event so I will likely clean it again another day. I went on a tour of the other buildings to learn how to clean them if other custodians are not here. Re-cleaned some glass and elevators. Cleaned the Student Leadership Room furniture and glass. Mopped the floors. Cleaned as much as possible without moving too much as it appears they are working on something in there. Aside from carpets, I would say at this point most of the area outside Student Life has been cleaned and looks good! I plan to focus on that area next week!

  11. May 20 - Collected trash from outside offices and cleaned restrooms. Deep cleaned glass barrier wall for Student Life. Started deep cleaning furniture outside offices in Student Life. Cleaned restrooms in Student Life. Started cleaning conference room glass and furniture in Student Life.

  13. May 21 - Collected trash from outside offices and cleaned restrooms. Vacuumed carpets in Student Life area as well as some outside Student Life area. Wiped down some glass panels inside Student Life and out. Started sweeping stairs.

  15. May 22 - Started cleaning 2F restrooms but was told that I do not need to do that from now on. Collected trash from outside offices. Swept and mopped all three staircases outside of Student Life. Wiped down glass outside Student Life. Wiped down furniture outside Student Life. Vacuumed carpets in game room, around tables, in outside offices, and in ballrooms. Mopped wooden floor in ballrooms. Helped collect trash from other buildings in preparation to do this myself when needed.

  17. May 23 - Focused heavily on cleaning Student Leadership room after hearing for the first time that there had been daily complaints about it. I wish I had been told sooner but now that I am aware I will try to do a better job. I also cleaned the main stairway, collected trash from outside offices, vacuumed carpets a little bit outside Student Life, and cleaned a lot of glass both outside and inside Student Life. I ended the night helping to collect trash from other buildings in preparation to learn to do this on my own when needed.

  19. May 24 - Cleaned Student Leadership room. Collected trash from outside offices. Helped with trash and dash from AD and Alumni House (on separate work order). Collected and disposed of trash from AD, LA, and Alumni House using truck. Put truck away and made sure everything was well and securely locked. Cleaned and vacuumed heavily in Student Life. Cleaned back stairwell in Student Life. After two weeks, I have touched mostly everything on 2F Student Center. I will continue to go around and find the spots I missed as well as clean the carpet once I receive training to do so.

Collected and disposed of trash from AD and Alumni House using truck (no trash from LA). Put truck away and made sure everything was securely locked. Wiped down furniture and glass all over 2F Student Center. Cleaned main stairwell in Student Center.

  23. May 29 - Flattened and recycled a large number of cardboard boxes after being asked to by Megan. Cleaned Student Leadership room. Collected trash from outside offices. Cleaned offices in Student Life. Cleaned restrooms in Student Life. Helped with trash and dash from AD and Alumni House (on separate work order). Replaced hand soap in Student Life break room (on separate work order). Put truck away and made sure everything was securely locked.

Collected trash from ballrooms after wedding setup. Spot vacuumed all over 2F Student Center but especially in the ballrooms after wedding setup. Cleaned up any obvious messes for the wedding tomorrow.

  29. June 3 - Cleaned elevators, back hallways, restrooms, outside offices, Student Leadership room, and ballrooms. The outside offices and ballrooms were especially dirty. The ballrooms have not been fully cleaned but I cleaned all the tables and started vacuuming.

Helped move bench with coworkers and then cleaned beneath it. Collected trash from outside offices and ballrooms. Moved chairs back in cafeteria. Wiped down some furniture and class on 2F.

  33. June 5 - Cleaned tables in cafeteria. Swept floor in cafeteria. Cleaned 1F restrooms twice (during and after banquet). Cleaned Student Leadership room. Cleaned upstairs after the banquet. Cleaned 2F restrooms. Picked up trash and vacuumed in and near ballrooms. Collected trash from outside offices.

Checked offices and restrooms in Student Life and cleaned as necessary. Cleaned main stairs and back stairs by 2F closet. Checked 2F restrooms and cleaned as necessary. Also re-completed self-evaluation due to bugs changing my answers.

Cleaned 2F restrooms. Checked fire extinguishers (tracked on separate work order). Cleaned in Student Leadership room. Did a lot of vacuuming all over 2F.

  39. June 10 - Wiped down glass all over 2F. Used long handled cleaners to reach upper glass. It streaked a bit so I will try to get it better another day in places. Collected trash from outside offices. Did a bunch of vacuuming on 2F. Cleaned Student Leadership room a little, it wasn't very dirty. Attempted to use the carpet cleaning machine and started cleaning carpets in ballrooms and by restrooms.

  41. June 11 - Wiped down glass all over 2F using long handled cleaners. Cleaned and mopped Student Leadership room. Collected trash from outside offices. Vacuumed in the game room. Used carpet machine to start cleaning in game room. I didn't move anything so will have to do the rest another time. Set up fans to dry game room. Mopped back hallways.

Checked Student Leadership room but didn't need much cleaning. Checked Student Life and that looked good as well, cleaned restrooms quickly. Cleaned outside restrooms.

  49. June 17 - Cleaned Student Leadership room. Cleaned the ballroom floor. Mopped twice and ran T5. Mopped back hallway upstairs. Vacuumed outside ballrooms, but not perfect may have to do this again. Collected trash from outside offices. Cleaned 2F restrooms, but not perfect may have to do this again. Started cleaning elevators but again not perfect so may have to do this again!

  51. June 18 - Wiped down glass and furniture all over 2F. Spent a good amount of time trying to clean elevators, but they still smell like beer. Did some vacuuming. Mopped stairs. Collected outside office garbage. Cleaned 2F restrooms quickly but no mopping, may need to do that soon!

  69. July 1 - Cleaned all four stairways. Spot scrubbed stains on carpets all over 2F and Student Life. Collected trash from outside offices. Deep cleaned outside offices including wiping down furniture, vacuuming, and scrubbing stains on carpets. (Note: If anyone wants me to clean their office more thoroughly I will need permission to move things but this is the most I can do without touching other people's things). Cleaned 2F and Student Life restrooms. Spot cleaned furniture, glass, elevators, and Student Leadership room.

  73. July 3 - Scrubbed carpet stains especially by glass windows where they have been drawing with markers and getting it all over the carpets. Collected trash from outside offices. Did a lot of vacuuming around 2F. Swept a couple of the stairways. Cleaned restrooms on 2F and in Student Life. Wiped some glass and furniture stains. Dusted window sills for bugs and then vacuumed them.

  77. July 5 - Spent around 2 hours cleaning in Liberal Arts building. Trash and dash as well as cleaning restrooms. Did trash and dash in Student Center as well and cleaned 2F and Student Life restrooms. Still had time after that so also cleaned carpet stains, vacuumed, cleaned glass spots, and wiped furniture. Carpet stains from markers by Student Leadership room were particularly bad and I tried to clean them as much as I could but it was not perfect.

  79. July 8 - Spent around 1.5 hours cleaning in Liberal Arts building. Trash and dash as well as cleaning restrooms. Did trash and dash in Student Center as well and cleaned 2F restrooms. Still had time after that so also cleaned some glass and furniture but did not get to Student Life. Also cleaned Student Leadership room as well as deep cleaning the fine dining stairway both sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming the nearby hallway.

  81. July 9 - Checked fire extinguishers and replaced tags on all 5 of the ones I am responsible for. Spent around 1.5 hours cleaning in Liberal Arts building. Assisted Sandra in bringing a machine from the plant to AD. Mopped wood floors in ballrooms. Moved chairs in ballrooms and deep cleaned carpets before resetting chairs at the end of the night. Posted notices on all office doors requesting permission to move things and deep clean their carpets. Completed trash and dash at both Student Center and Liberal Arts buildings.

  83. July 10 - Spent around 1.5 hours cleaning in Liberal Arts building. Spent around half an hour touring Baker Hebron to prepare for cleaning that tomorrow and Friday. Completed trash and dash at both Student Center and Liberal Arts building. Spent some time setting goals and submitting that for the coming year to work on. Cleaned 2F restrooms. Collected notes from all offices confirming I have permission to move things in offices to clean. Will likely need a smaller machine to do that and will probably start on that next week as a priority.

  85. July 11 - Completed trash and dashes at Student Center, AD, and Alumni House. Checked and/or cleaned restrooms at all three buildings as well. Responded to multiple calls to head over to Liberal Arts to let people inside the building as well as one of the offices per request from supervisor. Cleaned Student Leadership room.

  87. July 12 - Completed trash and dashes in Alumni House, AD, Liberal Arts, and Student Center. Also checked and/or cleaned restrooms at all four buildings as well.

  89. July 15 - Went to Dorman to bring carpet machine to Student Center. Collected trash from outside offices and checked/cleaned restrooms on 2F. Did a lot of vacuuming all over 2F and in outside offices. Cleaned carpets in fine dining hallway, PC area, common area, office 213, and office 214.

  91. July 16 - Brought fan over to Student Center to help dry carpets. In first 20 minutes I brought everything up to the 2F closet. I filled the spray bottle to get ready for cleaning carpets. I filled the carpet machine to get ready for cleaning carpets. I got myself situated and used the restroom. I checked around on 2F to see if there were any big messes to clean. I checked to see if any of the carpets were still wet and needed drying. After doing all of that, my supervisor brought some more fans over to help with drying the carpets. After this I cleaned both elevators again and swept in the Student Leadership room. I did a lot of vacuuming all over 2F. I finished cleaning carpets on 2F outside of Student Life. Cleaning office 211 and 212. I cleaned carpets in the Quiet Study Room and that hallway as well as the empty office over there. I also cleaned carpets in the main area and hallways of Student Life. Only the carpets in the offices in Student Life remain to be cleaned! 🙂I also collected trash from the outside offices and cleaned the 2F restrooms! Got a lot done today!

  93. July 17 - Spent some time early on looking for carpet machine which had been taken out of the Student Center to another building. Eventually located it at Dorman Gym and with Sandra's help moved it out of the building to take back to the Student Center. Spent most of the evening moving things around, vacuuming out offices, running the carpet machine on them, and then drying them with a fan. Completed the conference room as well as offices 224, 225, 226, 227, 229, and 230. About half the offices are done so I should be able to finish up this week or early next week at the latest.
