lee hyo-joo was born into a family of three sisters two brothers, in daegu, south korea. hyojoo began dance and vocal lessons when she was seven. in high-school at the age of fourteen, the young girl begins to divert from singing and creating mixtapes. at the age of fifteen, hyojoo is recruited as a CUBE trainee. at seventeen, hyojoo resigns from CUBE for unknown reasons and becomes a JYP trainee.
