  1. Welcome all to my walkthrough on a game that is based off the series,
  2. called Power Rangers Dino Thunder (based off the hit TV series).
  3. Although I say this walkthrough is for the PlayStation 2, this
  4. walkthrough can actually be used for either the PlayStation 2 or the
  5. GameCube version, no big changes in either version (if so, let me know).
  6. I hope this walkthrough helps out as much as possible. Below is nothing
  7. but spoilers on the game as well as the TV series, so if you don't want
  8. to be spoiled, please take a detour and hit the Back button now. However
  9. if you want to be spoiled or need some help, please scroll down as far
  10. as you need to. Consider this as your Spoiler Warning!

  73. B: |The Story Of Power Rangers Dino Thunder|
  74. ---------------------------------------
  75.
  76. According to the first cutscene:
  77.
  78. Dr. Tommy Oliver, the Black Ranger, is working in his lab on some
  79. way to stop Mesogog's plans to return the Earth to it's original
  80. prehistoric form, like several million years ago. Just then,
  81. Conner Red Ranger) appears on the screen, all frantic. Zeltrax was
  82. able to capture Kira (Yellow Ranger) and Ethan (Blue Ranger) and
  83. their zords. Mesogog plans on capturing all the zords and draining
  84. their power, so that they would be inoperable, leaving him to do
  85. as he wish. Conner is able to get away, but his zord is low on
  86. power. Tommy contacts Kira and Ethan (barely). They say that
  87. Mesogog and Zeltrax is planning on capturing ALL the zords. After
  88. that, they lost communications link with Tommy. Tommy has Conner
  89. power up his zord, then together they will work on a way to get
  90. Kira and Ethan and their zords back. Will they be able to do it,
  91. and will the team be able to stop Zeltrax and Mesogog? Only you
  92. can decide that, as you play Power Rangers Dino Thunder!
  93.
  94. ----------------------------------
  95. C: |What Is Power Rangers Dino Thunder|
  96. ----------------------------------
  97.
  98. Power Rangers Dino Thunder is based off the hit TV series by the
  99. same name. This is the 12th Season of Power Rangers, which is also
  100. based off it's Japanese counterpart, Abaranger. Does this game
  101. fall in with the TV series? No, but one might suggest it could
  102. happen somewheres in between "Beneath The Surface" and "White
  103. Thunder Part 1" (with the exception of the ParasaurZord, which
  104. came in "White Thunder Part 2"). Reason being is that the White
  105. Ranger is not in this game at all or anything after that. Also
  106. mentioned are two other series: Power Rangers Ninja Storm
  107. (Hurricanger in Japan) which took place in 2003 as the 11th
  108. Season, and Power Rangers Wild Force (Gaoranger in Japan) which
  109. took place in 2002 as the 10th Season. Zords from each of these
  110. series will make cameo appearance as you unlock them.
  111.
  112. ----------------------
  113. D: |About This Walkthrough|
  114. ----------------------
  115.
  116. Before we get started, I wanna make a few points that will be
  117. important. This game is played as a 3rd Person Action/Adventure
  118. type game, meaning you can go in any direction possible. I've
  119. never made an FAQ for such a game, so I may not be as specific as
  120. possible, but I will try my best. Please note that you must
  121. remember the exact spot you start off at in each mission/world,
  122. because that will be where I start off describing what needs to be
  123. done in each mission/world. I will also try to mention specific
  124. landmarks that may help, but please bare with me on this. This
  125. guide, like others, is described on how I played/beat the game.
  126. You have your methods as do I. This is just my way of doing it. I
  127. hope this helps out in anyways possible.
  128.
  129. ---------------------
  130. E: |Control Configuration|
  131. ---------------------
  132.
  133. These are the button controls:

  135. L1 = Shows how many Dino Bolts, Dino Claws and Dino Darts you have
  136. L2 = Changes camera angle (if you have the rotating D-Pad)
  137. R1 = Allows you to run temporarily (must have Dino Dart)
  138. R2 = Shows how many Dino Bolts, Dino Claws and Dino Darts you have
  139. SQUARE = Normal attack/reflect attacks (TriceraZord)
  140. 'X' = Jump/fly (PteraZord); NOTE: TriceraZord does not jump
  141. CIRCLE = Special ability (must have Dino Claw)
  142. TRIANGLE = Switches between zords
  143. START = Pauses game/brings up Options
  144. SELECT = Not Playable
  145. D-PAD = Move in whatever direction you want.
  146.
  147. --------------------------
  148. F: |Introducing The Dino Zords|
  149. --------------------------
  150.
  151. These are a list of all the zords in the game:
  152.
  153. 1. TYRANNOZORD: 4 Life Points
  154. NORMAL ATTACK: Red Energy Balls
  155. SPECIAL ATTACK: Ground Stomp
  156. This is the first zord you get. It's pretty sturdy and big, but
  157. also slow. The Tyranno Zord's special ability is the Ground
  158. Stomp, which can take out certain big boulders.
  159.
  160. 2. PTERAZORD: 3 Life Points
  161. NORMAL ATTACK: Yellow Energy Balls
  162. SPECIAL ATTACK: Talon Slice
  163. The only zord that can fly, but slow. This will come in handy
  164. when you want to explore the entire region, though it is weak.
  165. The Ptera Zord's special ability is the Talon Slice, which
  166. causes the zord to spin around and shoot out like a missle.
  167.
  168. 3. TRICERAZORD: 5 Life Points
  169. NORMAL ATTACK: None (Reflect Enemy Shots)
  170. SPECIAL ATTACK: Tricera Crunch
  171. Although this zord doesn't jump, it can move VERY fast. Also,
  172. you can use it's head to deflect enemy attacks right back at
  173. them. The Tricera Zord's special ability is the Tricera Crunch
  174. which can cause lots of damage to anything that comes in
  175. contact with it.
  176.
  177. 4. PARASAURZORD: 3 Life Points
  178. NORMAL ATTACK: Green Energy Balls
  179. SPECIAL ATTACK: Scissortail Attack
  180. A fairly fast paced zord, that launches green energy blasts at
  181. the enemies. The Parasaur Zord's special abilitiy is the
  182. Scissortail Attack where it will spin around in the direction
  183. you're going, cutting up everything in it's path including
  184. trees.
  185.
  186. 5. DIMETROZORD: 3 Life Points
  187. NORMAL ATTACK: Blue Energy Balls that bounce of walls
  188. SPECIAL ATTACK: Saw Blade Attack
  189. A medium paced zord, which launches blue energy blasts. The
  190. Dimetro Zord's special ability is the Saw Blade Attack, where
  191. it will spin it's entire body like a saw blade, destroying all
  192. enemies it runs into.
  193.
  194. 6. CEPHALAZORD: 4 Life Points
  195. NORMAL ATTACK: Purple Energy Balls
  196. SPECIAL ATTACK: Power Punch
  197. This zord is a little more faster than the previous two, and it
  198. has a great jumping distance. The Cephala Zord's special
  199. ability is the Power Punch which it sends out a powerful energy
  200. ball from it's fist destroying enemies.
  201.
  202. 7. BRACHIOZORD: 5 Life Points
  203. NORMAL ATTACK: None
  204. SPECIAL ATTACK: None
  205. Although you do not play as this zord in the game, you will
  206. come across it twice in the game. It's a slow moving zord, that
  207. can not replenish health.
  208.
  209. 8. THUNDERSAURUS MEGAZORD: 5 Life Points (both modes)
  210. NORMAL ATTACK: White Energy Balls (both modes)
  211. MEGAZORD SPECIAL ATTACK: Dino Drill
  212. BLADE MODE SPECIAL ATTACK: Dimetro Blade Attack
  213. This is the main megazord of the game. Only used twice when
  214. facing Zeltrax. It has two modes, the megazord itself and Blade
  215. Mode. In Blade Mode, the DimetroZord comes up and becomes an
  216. arm for the megazord. The special ability for the megazord is
  217. Dino Drill, which uses it's arm as a drill and slams into the
  218. enemy. Blade Mode special ability is Dimetro Blade Attack,
  219. which slices the enemy hard. Both modes has 5 Life Points each.

  226. SECTION 2: |WALKTHROUGH|
  227. -----------
  228.
  229. ----------------------
  230. A: |Before The Walkthrough|
  231. ----------------------
  232.
  233. For the initial walkthrough, I would like to explain how it's all
  234. broken down into, so you have a better idea of how to read my
  235. walkthrough for this game:
  236.
  237. FIRST: What collecting Dino Eggs, Dino Gems and Power Morphers,
  238. will unlock stuff, as well as important notices for that
  239. entire level.
  240. SECOND: The actual walkthrough.
  241. THIRD: After each mission I will describe how to get the Dino Egg
  242. and Dino Gem for that mission.
  243. FOURTH: At the end of each level, I will describe how to get the
  244. Power Morphers for that level. These can be found at
  245. anytime, so long as you have the matching zord to pick
  246. them up.
  247.
  248. To skip ahead to a mission, press CTRL + F then type
  249. "Mission 01-24" (the '0' has to be in there). Plus I will give a
  250. small intermission between each level, so you can follow the game
  251. exactly according to my FAQ (it's like you'll be reading how the
  252. game will unfold). Also, between each mission, it's probably best
  253. get your zords powered-up and stuff, or if you want, explore the
  254. world (probably with your PteraZord) to see all you can.
  255.
  256. Also I wanna point out something (because I feel it's necessary).
  257. During my walkthrough, I will mention that you need to turn a
  258. certain amount of degrees, whether it's 45, 90, 135 or 180. If
  259. you're good at Geometry, then this shouldn't be a problem. But if
  260. not, pay attention to the little diagram below to help:
  261.
  262. LEFT 0 RIGHT 0 degrees would obviously mean to go
  263. 45 | 45 straight ahead. C represents your
  264. \ | / current position looking forward.
  265. 90 ---C--- 90 And a complete swoop of the area would
  266. / | \ be a 360 degree spin around. If the
  267. 135 | 135 degree isn't listed, then the closest
  268. 180 degree will suffice just as well ^_^
  269.
  270. So now with that out of the way, onto the walkthrough! ^_^
  271.
  272. -----------------
  273. B: |Level 1: Tar Pits|
  274. -----------------
  275.
  276. In this world, collect all to unlock the following:
  277. Dino Eggs: Red HawkZord in Blue Bay Harbor
  278. Dino Gems: Red LionZord in the Animarium
  279. Power Morphers: Red HawkZord in the Rock Quarry
  280. Special Notes: Zords can not jump while in the tar.
  281.
  282. Tommy will say that he is glad you (Conner) made it back safely
  283. (via a cutscene of the area). Now you need to get the TyrannoaZord
  284. ready so you can save the others. Tommy will work on getting an
  285. Invisiportal ready. You however have work of your own to do. Go
  286. straight ahead to the Red Mission Beacon to begin Mission 01.
  287.
  288. ------------------------------------------------------------------
  289.
  290. MISSION 01: POWERING UP THE TYRANNOZORD
  291. Zord Required: TyrannoZord
  292.
  293. Here we go, our first mission, and it's a pretty easy one at that.
  294. Tommy will tell you that you need to get the TyrannoZord powered-
  295. up before you can go save Ethan and Kira. To do that, you must
  296. find 3 Power Cells. Before we get to finding the Power Cells,
  297. Tommy will tell you how to perform the Air Jump (press X then X
  298. again when in the air). This will come in handy when you collect
  299. the other zords (except the TriceraZord and PteraZord). With that
  300. out of the way, go straight ahead and you will see the first Power
  301. Cell. From there, turn left 180 degrees and you will see the
  302. second Power Cell on the other side of the level. Get that then
  303. turn right about 135 degrees or so and there will be the third
  304. Power Cell on the other side. Get all these Power Cells and you
  305. will have completed this mission.
  306.
  307. Dino Egg Location: From the start of this mission, you will see
  308. the Dino Egg right away (near the first Power Cell).
  309.
  310. Dino Gem Requirements: After Tommy explains how to do the Air
  311. Jump, perform one to get the Dino Gem.
  312.
  313. ------------------------------------------------------------------
  314.
  315. Tommy will say you have activated a new Red Mission Beacon, and
  316. for you to go there to get your weapons system uploaded. So from
  317. where you ended up after completing Mission 01, turn all the way
  318. around and you will see the next beacon. Head to it to begin
  319. Mission 02.
  320.
  321. ------------------------------------------------------------------
  322.
  323. MISSION 02: DESTROY ALL TARGETS TO TEST WEAPONS
  324. Zord Required: TyrannoZord
  325.
  326. Now it's time to test out TyrannoZord's primary weapon. Tommy will
  327. instruct you on how to use it (press SQUARE). After that, your
  328. mission is to destroy all the targets you see. Another easy
  329. mission really, nothing to it. Do this and your mission will be
  330. over.
  331.
  332. Dino Egg Location: From where you start this mission at, head
  333. right and follow the street until you reach the tunnel. Once
  334. there, go left then follow the path between the rock steps and tar
  335. pits. Keep going until you see the Dino Egg in sight.
  336.
  337. Dino Gem Requirements: Use a Dino Dart (press R1), which will
  338. cause your zord to run very fast for a moment, to get this Dino
  339. Gem.
  340.
  341. ------------------------------------------------------------------
  342.
  343. Tommy will tell you that a new Red Mission Beacon is ready, and
  344. for you to go there. Do a complete sweep of the area to find it,
  345. and go there to start Mission 03.
  346.
  347. ------------------------------------------------------------------
  348.
  349. MISSION 03: FIND THE HIDDEN CAVE
  350. Zord Required: TyrannoZord
  351.
  352. Once again, Tommy instructs you to test out TyrannoZord's special
  353. abilities. This time it's the Ground Stomp attack (press CIRCLE).
  354. After that, it seems that there is an energy surge coming from
  355. inside the mountains. Pay attention to this cutscene carefully.
  356. See the boulder with the Dino Marker on it, that's where you need
  357. to be. To get there, remember where you got the Dino Egg from
  358. Mission 02? Well get to that spot again, then continue following
  359. the pathway, past the refinery building. After walking a few more
  360. feet you will come across the boulders (Tommy will let you know
  361. when you get there). Make sure you have a Dino Claw. Once at the
  362. boulder, do a Ground Stomp attack and the boulders will be
  363. destroyed. Once inside, an enemy known as Lobber will be there.
  364. Destroy it and the mission will be complete. After which, if you
  365. wanna travel further ahead to get the power-ups and the Tyranno
  366. Morpher, go for it ^_^
  367.
  368. Dino Egg Location: You know the building where you start this
  369. mission off at? Go behind it and you will find the Dino Egg for
  370. this mission.
  371.
  372. Dino Gem Requirements: Get the Dino Egg from this mission to get
  373. the Dino Gem (wish it was that easy all the other times ^_^).
  374.
  375. ------------------------------------------------------------------
  376.
  377. After getting the power ups and Tyranno Morpher, head back outside
  378. of the cave. You should see the next Red Mission Beacon straight
  379. ahead of you from the cave entrance. Head there to begin
  380. Mission 04.
  381.
  382. ------------------------------------------------------------------
  383.
  384. MISSION 04: DESTROY ALL LOBBERS
  385. Zord Required: TyrannoZord
  386.
  387. Tommy is gonna try to work on getting the Invisiportal open, you
  388. have to hold off the Lobbers until then. Your job is to destroy
  389. ALL the Lobbers. Now this will be fun. What I do is just run and
  390. shoot at the same time. Run through the trees for Power Cells
  391. incase you get hit. Despite there being so many Lobbers, this is
  392. actually VERY easy to get through. Just go pyshco on them if need
  393. be. To let you know, all the Lobbers are out in the open field, so
  394. it won't be too hard to find them. After you defeated them all,
  395. your mission will be complete.
  396.
  397. Dino Egg Location: Remember that refinery building you came across
  398. in Mission 03? Well get there, jump on the building (how it
  399. supports you is beyond me) and you will see the Dino Egg for
  400. Mission 04.
  401.
  402. Dino Gem Requirements: Use a Ground Stomp attack on any Lobber to
  403. get this Dino Gem.
  404.
  405. ------------------------------------------------------------------
  406.
  407. Once again after completing this mission, do a complete sweep
  408. around and find the next Red Mission Beacon. Head there to begin
  409. Mission 05.
  410.
  411. ------------------------------------------------------------------
  412.
  413. MISSION 05: SAVE KIRA AND THE PTERAZORD
  414. Zord Required: TyrannoZord
  415.
  416. Looks like the Invisiportal is open. Tommy explains how he can get
  417. Kira and the PteraZord through the portal. You will need to find
  418. all 7 Ptera Bones for the Dino DNA, in which to bring them back.
  419. This mission is a tiny bit tough, because you have Lobbers all
  420. around, but no worries, it's still an easy mission nonetheless.
  421. The white light shooting into the sky will help make this mission
  422. much easier. Find all 7 Ptera Bones then head to the Invisoportal,
  423. and you will have completed this mission. Tommy will also explain
  424. how to switch between the zords (press TRIANGLE).
  425.
  426. Dino Egg Location: You know the labs where you started this entire
  427. level at? If not, just think back to the opening cutscene of the
  428. game. The Dino Egg isn't too far from that location. Just follow
  429. the street leading from the lab, to the tunnel and there will be
  430. the Dino Egg (it's behind some trees).
  431.
  432. Dino Gem Requirements: For this Dino Gem, deliver ALL the Ptera
  433. Bones to the Green Invisiportal at the same time.
  434.
  435. ------------------------------------------------------------------
  436.
  437. You have now unlocked the PteraZord! With that, you can fly all
  438. over the place. If you wanna take this time to fly all over to
  439. check the area out, go for it. If not, just turn around and head
  440. to the nearby Red Mission Beacon to start Mission 06.
  441.
  442. ------------------------------------------------------------------
  443.
  444. MISSION 06: POWER UP THE INVISIPORTAL
  445. Zord Required: PteraZord
  446.
  447. Tommy explains again how to switch between the zords you have
  448. (press TRIANGLE), which will come in handy for future missions.
  449. But back to this current mission, it seems that the tar pits isn't
  450. a safe place, since Mesogog knows you're there, so you need to get
  451. the zords into the Invisiportal. However it needs a little more
  452. power. There is a Plasma Boost high in the mountains. Tommy has
  453. made some rings which will lead you to the Plasma Boost. This
  454. mission will be a tough one, in comparison to the first five,
  455. because there will be tons of Lobbers around. With the PteraZord,
  456. follow the path of rings (you don't have to go through them)
  457. until you get to a mountain ledge.
  458.
  459. Once there, switch to TyrannoZord when you get to the ledge and
  460. follow the path. At the end, you will notice a tree that seems out
  461. of place. Use the Ground Stomp attack to uncover the Plasma Boost.
  462. After getting that, watch out for the Lobber that may appear
  463. nearby you. Now, head back to the ledge, switch back to the
  464. PteraZord and fly through the rings until you get to the
  465. Invisiportal, which will then complete this mission, and level.
  466. You can now transport to Reefside Canyon. You will now be asked if
  467. you like to be transported to Reefside Canyon, which you will
  468. accept.
  469.
  470. Dino Egg Location: As you make your way through this mission, you
  471. will see the Dino Egg on a short ledge, along the way. That's
  472. pretty much it for this one, easy huh ^_^
  473.
  474. Dino Gem Requirements: Simple, make sure you fly through ALL the
  475. rings, and don't miss a single one (you can go back and fly
  476. through any, if you did miss one). Make sure you do this for both
  477. trips in this mission. Do this and you will get the Dino Gem.
  478.
  479. ------------------------------------------------------------------
  480.
  481. POWER MORPHER LOCATIONS FOR THE PITS: 2 Morphers Total
  482.
  483. Tyranno Morpher: In the cave you went into in Mission 03, follow
  484. it to the end, and you will find the Tyranno Morpher surrounded by
  485. several power-up items.
  486.
  487. Ptera Morpher: After completing Mission 05 and freeing Kira and
  488. the PteraZord, turn to the right about 90 or so degrees and fly
  489. foward. You will see the Ptera Morpher high up on a small ledge.
  490.
  491. ------------------------------------------------------------------
  492. ------------------------------------------------------------------
  493.
  494.
  495. ------------------------
  496. C: |Level 2: Reefside Canyon|
  497. ------------------------
  498.
  499. In this world, collect all to unlock the following:
  500. Dino Eggs: Yellow LionZord in Blue Bay Harbor
  501. Dino Gems: Yellow EagleZord in the Animarium
  502. Power Morphers: Yellow LionZord in the Rock Quarry
  503. Special Notes: None
  504.
  505. Now you are in Reefside Canyon. Tommy will tell you that he will
  506. continue monitoring the events from the Tar Pits. Now you have to
  507. go save Ethan and the TriceraZord. Head to the next Red Mission
  508. Beacon (which should be ahead of you), to start Mission 07.
  509.
  510. ------------------------------------------------------------------
  511.
  512. MISSION 07: SAVE ETHAN AND THE TRICERAZORD
  513. Zord Required: TyrannoZord and PteraZord
  514.
  515. It seems the area has some massive Dino DNA. With the Tricera
  516. Bones, you can get a lock on Ethan and the TriceraZord. So here's
  517. your mission. This is pretty much the same as Mission 05. Find the
  518. 3 Tricera Bones, then get them to the Invisiportal to free Ethan
  519. and the TriceraZord. Once again, there will be beams of white
  520. light shooting upwards, showing you where the bones are, though
  521. you will have to search for them, because they aren't as out in
  522. the open as is previous missions.
  523.
  524. From where you start at, head towards the road and water, then
  525. turn right. You should see a Tricera Bone on the ledge. After
  526. getting that, turn all the way around and you should see another
  527. one (fly upwards to get a better view). With the PteraZord, fly
  528. over and collect the second Tricera Bone. After that, get back to
  529. the road. Follow the road all the way to the end, and you will see
  530. the third Tricera Bone waiting for you. After getting that, head
  531. back to the Invisiportal, switch to PteraZord, and fly into it.
  532. Where Ethan and the TriceraZord will bust through the portal, thus
  533. completing this mission.
  534.
  535. Dino Egg Location: While you're getting the third Tricera Bone,
  536. switch to the PteraZord and head over to the nearby wall, then fly
  537. upwards to a ledge. That is where the Dino Egg for this mission
  538. is located at.
  539.
  540. Dino Gem Requirements: Just like in Mission 05, get ALL the
  541. Tricera Bones before getting to the Green Invisiportal, to get
  542. this Dino Gem.
  543.
  544. ------------------------------------------------------------------
  545.
  546. With the completion of Mission 07, you have unlocked the
  547. TriceraZord! Tommy will tell you that the TriceraZord is too heavy
  548. to jump (and what, the TyrannoZord isn't?!?!), so it can't jump.
  549. However, you can repel enemy attacks by pressing the SQUARE
  550. button. This will come in handy. With this new knowledge, turn
  551. right 90 degrees and you will barely just see the next Red Mission
  552. Beacon. Head there to begin Mission 08.
  553.
  554. ------------------------------------------------------------------
  555.
  556. MISSION 08: DESTROY THE TOXIC CRYSTALS
  557. Zord Required: TriceraZord
  558.
  559. Seems that when you brought Ethan and the TriceraZord through the
  560. Invisiportal, Toxic Crystals were brought over as well, and now
  561. they are contaminating the water. This mission is simple, despite
  562. it being on a time limit. All you gotta do is get in the water and
  563. blast through each Toxic Crystal. It's probably best to start with
  564. the first one and make your way down the river. The timer will go
  565. slow, but you must hurry to destroy them all, or you will have
  566. failed the mission. To destroy them, just hit the SQUARE button.
  567. After that, your mission will be completed.
  568.
  569. Dino Egg Location: You can actually get the Dino Egg first before
  570. you start destroying the Toxic Crystals. From the spot you start
  571. this mission at, turn all the way around and head for the trees
  572. just right of the roadway. Behind there will be the Dino Egg for
  573. this mission. After that, just head to the river and go right and
  574. you can begin destroying the Toxic Crystals.
  575.
  576. Dino Gem Requirements: Destroy ALL the Toxic Crystals before the
  577. Timer hits the yellowish color (about 1/3 of the way through the
  578. timer) to get this Dino Gem. Probably best to start after getting
  579. the Dino Egg from this mission.
  580.
  581. ------------------------------------------------------------------
  582.
  583. If you followed my FAQ, you should be at the entrance of a small
  584. cave with rocks around it. Turn around 180 degrees then go
  585. straight ahead down the river. Switch to the PteraZord and fly up
  586. and forward and you will see the next Red Mission Beacon. Head
  587. there to begin Mission 09.
  588.
  589. ------------------------------------------------------------------
  590.
  591. MISSION 09: GET THE BRACHIOZORD TO THE REEFSIDE CITY INVISIPORTAL
  592. Zord Required: Doesn't matter
  593.
  594. The Zords are needed at Reefside City however the Invisiportal was
  595. never intended to support 3 Zords. So Tommy sends out the
  596. BrachioZord to help. Remember in the TV series how the BrachioZord
  597. was able to transport all the DinoZords? Well, same scenario here
  598. too. Your job is to get the BrachioZord from one side of Reefside
  599. Canyon to the other, without it being destroyed. This will be a
  600. tricky mission because of all the enemies you have to deal with.
  601.
  602. Because of this, I suggest you use the TyrannoZord because it's
  603. the strongest of the 3 Zords thus far, with it's Dino Blast
  604. attack. Make sure you protect the BrachioZord at all cost or this
  605. mission will quickly be over. Keep in mind the BrachioZord has 5
  606. Life Points and you can not refill it's life with Power Cells.
  607. Once you get it to the other side safely, it will boost the power
  608. of the Invisiportal allowing you to transport to Reefside City.
  609. After that, the mission will be completed. You will now be asked
  610. if you like to be transported to Reefside City, which you will
  611. accept.
  612.
  613. Dino Egg Location: This will be hard to describe, but halfway down
  614. the road (literally) you will come across a curve going around a
  615. mountain. Once there, turn left from the curve and you will see a
  616. ledge which will have the Dino Egg on it. After that, get back to
  617. your mission.
  618.
  619. Dino Gem Requirements: This will be tough, get the BrachioZord to
  620. the otherside without it taking damage at all, and you will
  621. receive your Dino Gem.
  622.
  623. ------------------------------------------------------------------
  624.
  625. POWER MORPHER LOCATIONS FOR REEFSIDE CANYON: 3 Morphers Total
  626.
  627. Tyranno Morpher: From the start of this level, turn to the right
  628. and you will see the Tyranno Morpher in the waterfall.
  629.
  630. Ptera Morpher: From the start of this level, head straight across
  631. (not down) the river. From there, switch to PteraZord and turn 90
  632. degrees to the the way left, and fly straight ahead. The Ptera
  633. Morpher should be on a high ledge close to the mountain wall.
  634.
  635. Tricera Morpher: From the start of this level, follow the river
  636. until you see the Tricera Morpher on a ledge. Or for a shortcut,
  637. head straight from the start, crossing the first stream, until you
  638. get to the second stream, then turn right and follow along until
  639. you get the Tricera Morpher.
  640.
  641. ------------------------------------------------------------------
  642. ------------------------------------------------------------------
  643.
  644.
  645. ----------------------
  646. D: |Level 3: Reefside City|
  647. ----------------------
  648.
  649. In this world, collect all to unlock the following:
  650. Dino Eggs: Blue DolphinZord in Blue Bay Harbor
  651. Dino Gems: Blue SharkZord on the Animarium
  652. Power Morphers: Blue DolphinZord in the Rock Quarry
  653. Special Notes: None
  654.
  655. You are now in Reefside City! Tommy says things may be a bit too
  656. quiet, but Mesogog will be up to something sure enough. Get over
  657. to the Red Mission Beacon to start Mission 10, which is straight
  658. ahead of you on the otherside of the city.
  659.
  660. ------------------------------------------------------------------
  661.
  662. MISSION 10: DESTROY THE ENERGY COLLECTOR & SHEILDED CONDENSER
  663. Zord Required: PteraZord
  664.
  665. Seems Mesogog goons has reached Reefside City. Mesogog's plan is
  666. to steal all the city's energy. You need to stop him. During the
  667. cutscene, you will notice several energy conductors. Destroy them,
  668. then go after the big one in the middle. It's probably best you
  669. use the PteraZord to do this. There is no need to explain where
  670. they all are because you'll probably be able to see them in plain
  671. view when you're in the sky. Also, Tommy will project holographic
  672. rings to guide you to each conductor.
  673.
  674. Either fly into them or blast them to destroy the conductors. Keep
  675. in mind there are 9 of them. After you get them all, go and
  676. destroy the giant Shielded Condensor at the top of the tallest
  677. building. When you get there, use PteraZord's special ability to
  678. take it out. After doing that, this mission will be completed.
  679.
  680. Dino Egg Location: Between the first and second energy conductor
  681. is a building. Go just to the left of the building and you will
  682. find the Dino Egg for this mission.
  683.
  684. Dino Gem Requirements: Simply fly through EVERY ring in this
  685. mission to get the Dino Gem. If you miss one, just backtrack and
  686. go through that one again, then get back on course.
  687.
  688. ------------------------------------------------------------------
  689.
  690. Now with that destroyed, Mesogog won't be able to steal as much
  691. power now, which is good! Turn right about 90 degrees and you will
  692. see the next Red Mission Beacon. Go there to start Mission 11.
  693.
  694. ------------------------------------------------------------------
  695.
  696. MISSION 11: DESTROY THE INTERFERENCE GENERATORS
  697. Zord Required: TyrannoZord
  698.
  699. Now there are Interference Generators that causing trouble for the
  700. power grid. So what exactly would Mesogog want with all this
  701. power? Worry about that later, right now you got a mission ahead
  702. of you. To complete this mission, you must take out the 6
  703. Interference Generators that are around the city. So let's get
  704. started. First, you need to use the TyrannoZord for this mission,
  705. however if you wanna get a general idea of where the generators
  706. are, just use the PteraZord and fly around. Here's a hint, listen
  707. out for humming (even though it will be very faint). That will let
  708. you know you're close to a generator. Now from your starting
  709. point, go straight down the street and you will see the first one.
  710. Once there, use the Ground Stomp attack to take it out.
  711.
  712. You must use this attack on all of them. The good thing is you get
  713. a Dino Claw for each one you destroy. From the first one, turn
  714. left about 90 degrees and walk straight to the water. You will see
  715. the second one on the left. Get it then continue straight until
  716. you get to the docks. Turn left 90 degrees, and there will be the
  717. third one. After the third one, walk straight a few feet (to the
  718. 3-way intersection) then turn left about 45 degrees and there will
  719. be the fourth one (barely). After that, turn left 90 degrees and
  720. keep walking till you see the fifth one on the right. Get that
  721. one, then turn all the way around (a complete 180), then head to
  722. the second street on the right (the diagonal road don't count) and
  723. there will be the final generator. Do all this and the mission
  724. will be completed.
  725.
  726. Dino Egg Location: From the fifth Interference Generator, head a
  727. couple steps to the next street and turn right (across from the
  728. parking garage). The Dino Egg should be on a small building on the
  729. next block over.
  730.
  731. Dino Gem Requirements: Destroy all the Interference Generators
  732. very quickly. You may have to redo this mission a few times to get
  733. it, but don't give up ^_^.
  734.
  735. ------------------------------------------------------------------
  736.
  737. After this, the mission will be over, but it seems that Tommy has
  738. a lead on the extra power that Mesogog needs, and he instructs you
  739. to head to the next Mission Beacon where he will fill you in on
  740. where. To get there, from the last Interfernece Generator in
  741. Mission 11, turn around 180 degrees and follow the street until to
  742. reach it's end. Once there, turn right 90 degrees and you will see
  743. the next Red Mission Beacon. Head over to it to begin Mission 12.
  744.
  745. ------------------------------------------------------------------
  746.
  747. MISSION 12: HEAD BACK TO THE TAR PITS
  748. Zord Required: Doesn't matter
  749.
  750. Tommy begins to tell you what Mesogog is up to, that is until he
  751. discovers that Zeltrax is in the Tar Pits. It seems that the
  752. attack on the city was a diversion, so that Zeltrax can attack the
  753. Black Ranger, and without the zords there, he could easily win.
  754. This mission is fairly easy, make your way back to the otherside
  755. of Reefside City, and jump through the Invisiportal. Tommy will
  756. also tell you about a new enemy called Taggers. If a Tagger touch
  757. you, they will teleport you back to where you started at. Keep
  758. this in mind with future missions. Once you get to the portal, get
  759. through and you will be halfway through the mission.
  760.
  761. Now you're in Reefside Canyon. Same scenario, make it to the
  762. otherside of this area where the other Invisiportal is. The
  763. Taggers enemy is also here, as well as other enemies. It's
  764. probably easier to just go down the roadway or the river, or just
  765. use the PteraZord to fly across. Whichever way is up to you. Be
  766. very careful, but make it through and you will have completed this
  767. mission.
  768.
  769. Dino Egg Location: In Reefside City, from the start of this
  770. mission, head left and follow the feilded area between the boats
  771. and road. The Dino Egg will be on a oil boat in plain sight. After
  772. getting it, just turn all the way around and you can continue your
  773. mission easily.
  774.
  775. Dino Gem Requirements: Make it through Reefside City without
  776. getting a scratch. It's probably best to use the PteraZord for
  777. this requirement.
  778.
  779. ------------------------------------------------------------------
  780.
  781. After the game is saved, you will have unlocked a new movie! What
  782. is it you ask, just sit back and watch. Still at the Invisiportal,
  783. Tommy will tell you that Zeltrax has turned into a giant, and that
  784. you need to defeat him. He will instruct you to "combine your
  785. powers", and get ready for a big battle. We now see a cutscene
  786. (straight from the TV show) of the Dino Thunder Rangers jumping
  787. into their zords, followed by the transformation sequenece of the
  788. Thundersaurus Megazord (a very sweet looking transformation at
  789. that ^_^). After that, you will be in the Tar Pits, automatically
  790. starting Mission 13.
  791.
  792. ------------------------------------------------------------------
  793.
  794. MISSION 13: DEFEAT ZELTRAX
  795. Zord Required: Thundersaurus Megazord
  796.
  797. Zeltrax begins to attack the Tar Pits. Be careful, this may be a
  798. bit of a challenge, but not too hard if you keep it together. Also
  799. note, there is no Dino Egg or Dino Gem in this mission.
  800.
  801. Zeltrax: "You'll have to get past me, first!"
  802. Tommy: "Watch it, he's up to something."
  803.
  804. BOSS FIGHT: ZELTRAX
  805. This isn't that hard of a fight. Zeltrax will shoot out green
  806. energy balls at you, preventing you from getting too close. You
  807. really can't dodge these attacks since there is no dodge ability
  808. (WHY???). He will also raise his axe up. When he does, it will
  809. glow a greenish color. Doing this he will have placed a sheild
  810. up, knocking you back (but not damaging you). On top of that,
  811. you got all sorts of enemies around, including some that will toss
  812. small bombs at you. All is not lost, all you gotta do is when
  813. Zeltrax raises his axe, just blast at him with your normal attack.
  814. When the glow is gone, get up close and use your special attack,
  815. which is the Dino Drill. Do this a few times and he will be
  816. destroyed. Now incase it's a bit too much for you, you have all
  817. sorts of trees and rocks around you, to help you recover your
  818. life. All and all, as long as you keep all this in mind, it should
  819. be rather easy.
  820.
  821. Zeltrax: "Your robot is no match for me!"
  822.
  823. After the battle, Zeltrax will teleport away. Now it's time to hit
  824. Mesogog head on! With that, this mission is completed.
  825.
  826. ------------------------------------------------------------------
  827.
  828. After the game saves and the load screen is over, the megazord
  829. will break down (no cutscene) and you will be back as the
  830. TyrannoZord. Tommy has got some readings on some new captured
  831. zords. He will instruct you to head to the newly created
  832. Invisiportal. Since there are two portals in the Tar Pits, you
  833. want the one on the far rightside from where you are currently at.
  834. When you get to the Invisiportal, you will be asked if you wanna
  835. go to the Jungle Island, which you will accept. Also note, you are
  836. about halfway through the game at this point.
  837.
  838. ------------------------------------------------------------------
  839.
  840. POWER MORPHER LOCATIONS FOR REEFSIDE CITY: 3 Morphers Total
  841. NOTE: These will be found in Reefside City only.
  842.
  843. Ptera Morpher: From the start of this level, switch to the
  844. PteraZord and fly straight, and as high as you can. As you do,
  845. look towards the right and you will see the Ptera Morpher on the
  846. rooftop of a building.
  847.
  848. Tricera Morpher: From the start of this level, head to the 4-way
  849. intersection right at the front of the bridge. Turn left and go 3
  850. streets up to the right. Turn right and go forward and there will
  851. be the Tricera Morpher.
  852.
  853. Parasaur Morpher: Just like finding the Ptera Morpher, use the
  854. PteraZord and fly high and straight down the street ahead of you
  855. from the start of this level. The Parasaur Morpher should be in
  856. plain sight (on the left) as you get closer to it. You will have
  857. to come back later on after getting the ParasaurZord to get it.
  858.
  859. ------------------------------------------------------------------
  860. ------------------------------------------------------------------
  861.
  862.
  863. ----------------------
  864. E: |Level 4: Jungle Island|
  865. ----------------------
  866.
  867. In this world, collect all to unlock the following:
  868. Dino Eggs: Crimson InsectaZord in Blue Bay Harbor
  869. Dino Gems: White TigerZord in the Animarium
  870. Power Morphers: Crimson InsectaZord in the Rock Quarry
  871. Special Notes: None
  872.
  873. You are now in the Jungle Island. Once here, you will get a
  874. cutscene tour of the area. Take note of the many areas in this
  875. level. After that, you are free to move about. Go straight ahead
  876. to the Red Mission Beacon to start Mission 14.
  877.
  878. ------------------------------------------------------------------
  879.
  880. MISSION 14: FREEING THE PARASAURZORD
  881. Zord Required: Doesn't matter
  882.
  883. Seems Tommy has located plant life that has DNA signature similar
  884. to that of the ParasaurZord. He will talk about Tree Pods which
  885. contain the DNA for the Para(saur)Zord. Your mission will be
  886. simple. Grab them all and bring them to the new Green
  887. Invisiportal. However, nothing is ever that easy. There will be
  888. some new enemies in the field. These enemies, called Mine
  889. Droppers, will be dropping electric mines blocking access to the
  890. Tree Pods. But don't worry, it still won't be too tough. There are
  891. 5 Tree Pods, so let's get going!
  892.
  893. Like before, there will be white light showing the location of all
  894. the Tree Pods, but they aren't as out in the open like before, so
  895. listen up. From where you start at, turn left and you will see 2
  896. Tree Pods right away, in the next open field. However when you get
  897. to the field, turn left slightly, and there will the third Tree
  898. Pod. Go after that one first, then get the other two. Of the two
  899. you were able to see easily, go to the one on the right, then turn
  900. right about 135 degrees and you will see the fourth one. Go
  901. towards it, but not all the way. Make your way to the first small
  902. drop off. Instead of going onward, turn left about 90 degrees or
  903. so and you will see a pathway. Follow that pathway and you will
  904. see the fifth Tree Pod. Get that first then go after the fourth
  905. one. Now that you have all five Tree Pods, head to the Green
  906. Invisiportal to rescue the ParasaurZord. Do this, and the mission
  907. will be completed.
  908.
  909. Dino Egg Location: This is very confusing so listen good. Right
  910. near the fifth Tree Pod, continue onwards down the path (no
  911. turning at all) and you will see the Dino Egg in the open.
  912.
  913. Dino Gem Requirements: This will be a pain. Go around the entire
  914. island and destroy ALL the Mine Droppers. I won't say where they
  915. all are because new ones will appear in time.
  916.
  917. ------------------------------------------------------------------
  918.
  919. You have now unlocked the ParasaurZord! Do a complete 360 degree
  920. spin around to find the next Red Mission Beacon. Then go to it to
  921. start Mission 15.
  922.
  923. ------------------------------------------------------------------
  924.
  925. MISSION 15: DESTROY THE ENERGY CRYSTALS AND MESOGOG'S BASE
  926. Zord Required: Tyranno, Tricera, Ptera and ParasaurZord
  927.
  928. This mission is a two-part mission.
  929.
  930. PART ONE: Tommy found Mesogog's base (he finally did something
  931. useful!), now it's up to you to take the base down. Tommy goes on
  932. explaining where it is as well that it's protected by Crystal
  933. Energy Sheilds. Seems that they are made up of Dino DNA, which
  934. will make it easy for you to take out. He goes on saying what you
  935. need to do. This is rather simple. By using each of the DinoZords,
  936. take out each crystal that matches the color of your zord (Red
  937. would be for TyrannoZord, and so on). When at each crystal, use
  938. your special attack from each zord to take them out. Try to do
  939. them in order so you won't get lost along the way. No point in
  940. saying where each crystal is, just follow the energy beams, and
  941. you will find them.
  942.
  943. PART TWO: After that, head over to the base and start attacking
  944. it. Although it won't matter which zord you use on this part, it's
  945. best you use the PteraZord, so that it won't be hit by any
  946. Taggers. With the PteraZord, just stay high up and blast away.
  947. Sure it may take awhile, but trust me, this is the easiest way to
  948. do it. Once you are done, the base will explode. With that, you're
  949. one more step closer to defeating Mesogog's plan! This mission is
  950. complete.
  951.
  952. There is another way to destroy the base. This info comes courtesy
  953. of Darktrunksssj45@yahoo.com:
  954.
  955. "If you are facing the base, there is a small cliff just to the
  956. upper left of base. You can fly the PteraZord up to it and switch
  957. to the ParasaurZord, then angle to the right just enough so that
  958. its ranged attack can hit the base. So you don't have to the base
  959. a few times, then circle around to continue the process, and you
  960. will still be unharmed from attacks". I, myself would like to say
  961. that the TyrannoZord will work when performing this trick as well.
  962.
  963. Dino Egg Location: From Mesogog's Base, turn all the way around
  964. (complete 180) and go to the second gap on the left. In this gap,
  965. switch to the PteraZord and fly all the way up. In the middle of
  966. this gap will be a ledge that will have the Dino Egg on it.
  967.
  968. Dino Gem Requirements: Destroy each crystal using ONE special
  969. attack per zord/per crystal, making it 4 Dino Claws to be used, no
  970. more. After destroying the four crystals, you will be awarded your
  971. Dino Gem. After that, it'll be safe to use however many special
  972. attacks as you like.
  973.
  974. ------------------------------------------------------------------
  975.
  976. So much for Mesogog's base huh. Now with it gone, you can continue
  977. to thwart his ultimate plan. Turn around until you see the next
  978. Red Mission Beacon. Head there to begin Mission 16.
  979.
  980. ------------------------------------------------------------------
  981.
  982. MISSION 16: DESTROY ALL THE STICKLERWEED PLANTS
  983. Zord Required: ParasaurZord
  984.
  985. Mesogog was working on a new plant life which he plans to use to
  986. make his army. However after you destroyed his base (in Mission
  987. 15), Sticklerweed Plants grew all over the island. Pay attention
  988. to the cutscene. Your job here is to destroy ALL the plants before
  989. they come back. So here is what you do. This is a job for the
  990. ParasaurZord. There are a total of 9 plants out there total,
  991. however it shows you have already got 4 of them. Notice you have a
  992. timer (which will tick down very fast). Once that timer is done,
  993. another plant will sprout out, giving you more to contend with. If
  994. all 9 sprout out, you will have failed your mission, so you must
  995. act quick. Although I can't say where new Sticklerweeds will
  996. sprout out, I can say where the current ones are.
  997.
  998. I will say this much, a new one will appear in place of the last
  999. current one you destroyed, and so forth. As for the current 5,
1000. here we go. One should be in front of you. To take it out, use the
1001. ParasaurZord's special Scissortail Attack. After getting this one,
1002. do a complete 360 spin and you will see 3 more. During your spin
1003. around, you should see an opening between two mountains. Head for
1004. that and you will find the final Sticklerweed Plant. Be careful,
1005. because once you start this mission, a Tagger will come to greet
1006. you, so be ready to shoot at it, or it will send you back to the
1007. start of the level. After getting all the Sticklerweed Plants,
1008. this mission will be completed.
  1009.
1010. Dino Egg Location: Once again, you need the PteraZord for this
1011. hunt. From the start of this mission, fly up, no other direction,
1012. then as soon as you get high up, start turning to the left until
1013. you see the Dino Egg. It will be high up on a ledge. Get it and
1014. you will have the Dino Egg from this mission.
  1015.
1016. Dino Gem Requirements: Destroy the 5 current Sticklerweed Plants
1017. before time runs out and another one sprouts up.
  1018.
  1019. ------------------------------------------------------------------
  1020.
1021. That was fun. Now head over to the next Red Mission Beacon to
  1022. begin Mission 17.
  1023.
  1024. ------------------------------------------------------------------
  1025.
1026. MISSION 17: GET THE BRACHIOZORD TO THE LAVA FIELDS INVISIPORTAL
  1027. Zord Required: Doesn't matter
  1028.
1029. Tommy found a new Invisiportal that will lead to the Lava Fields,
1030. but there isn't power in it to transport to the Lava Fields. Tommy
1031. will send in the BrachioZord to help boost the power of the
1032. Invisiportal. Sound familiar? Well here we go! This is just like
1033. Mission 09. Get the BrachioZord from one side of the jungle to the
1034. other, without it getting hurt. Just watch out for the enemies
1035. that will be nearby. Like before, it's probably best to use the
1036. TyrannoZord for this mission because of it's firepower it has.
1037. Once at the Invisiportal, the BrachioZord will power it up,
1038. allowing you to transport to the Lava Fields. With that, this
1039. mission is now completed. The game will then save, and you will
1040. now be asked if you like to be transported to the Lava Fields,
  1041. which you will accept.
  1042.
1043. Dino Egg Location: The BrachioZord will go straight down the path,
1044. then turn left when in the open field. With it doing that, follow
1045. alongside it, and you will see a gap straight ahead of you, with a
1046. small cave entrance. As one of the smaller zords, run into the
1047. cave. At the back of the cave will be the Dino Egg, as well as
1048. some power-ups. However, after getting it, there's a chance you
1049. may have to redo this mission to get the Dino Gem as well.
  1050.
1051. Dino Gem Requirements: Get the BrachioZord safe to the otherside,
1052. without it taking any damage to receive this Dino Gem, just like
1053. in Mission 09, only much easier.
  1054.
  1055. ------------------------------------------------------------------
  1056.
1057. POWER MORPHER LOCATIONS FOR THE JUNGLE ISLAND: 3 Morphers Total
  1058.
1059. Parasaur Morpher: From the start of this level, head up to the
1060. Mission 14 Beacon, then turn left 90 degrees. Go straight into the
1061. open field, then just past that is a maze of pillars and rocks. Go
1062. behind the first pillar on the left, and the Parasaur Morpher will
  1063. be nearby.
  1064.
1065. Dimetro Morpher: Right behind the first Tree Pod in Mission 14,
1066. use the DimetroZord and go through the small hole leading to a
1067. cave. Follow the path and there will be the Dimetro Morpher. You
1068. will have to come back for this one later, when you get the
  1069. DimetroZord.
  1070.
1071. Cephala Morpher: From the start, head straight until you get to
1072. the back wall. Switch to PteraZord and fly straight up. There will
1073. be two paths, take the right path. Follow the path past the first
1074. small drop off. After that, go a few more steps forward and fly
1075. upwards to the right. There will be another small pathway leading
  1076. to the Cephala Morpher.
  1077.
  1078. ------------------------------------------------------------------
  1079. ------------------------------------------------------------------
  1080.
  1081.
  1082. --------------------
  1083. F: |Level 5: Lava Fields|
  1084. --------------------
  1085.
1086. In this world, collect all to unlock the following:
1087. Dino Eggs: Navy BeetleZord in Blue Bay Harbor
1088. Dino Gems: Black BisonZord in the Animarium
1089. Power Morphers: Navy BeetleZord in the Rock Quarry
1090. Special Notes: Stepping in the lava will do damage to you
  1091.
1092. Once you are in the Lava Fields, you will get a cutscene showing
1093. the entire area. You'll also see a couple Power Morphers as well.
1094. After the cutscene stops, you can proceed forward to the Red
1095. Mission Beacon to begin Mission 18.
  1096.
  1097. ------------------------------------------------------------------
  1098.
1099. MISSION 18: FREEING THE DIMETROZORD
  1100. Zord Required: Doesn't matter.
  1101.
1102. Mesogog transported the DimetroZord to this world and trapped it
1103. inside a giant crusher, so you need to get to the machine and
1104. destroy it. It won't be easy, there are new RazorWorms that will
1105. make it difficult for you to get around. So basically, free the
1106. DimetroZord! Here is what to do. You're on a time limit again,
1107. which isn't much fun, but it will tick away slowly, making it
1108. better. Despite all there is, and the directions you can take,
1109. this isn't that tough, except with the enemies surrounding the
  1110. crusher.
  1111.
1112. Use the PteraZord to fly over to the crusher, then switch to
1113. either zord you want (probably Tyranno or Parasaur because of
1114. their attacks), and just keep shooting away at the crusher. If
1115. you're getting low on health with one zord, switch to another and
1116. use up that, and so forth. Special attacks will do little damage,
1117. but if you have enough Dino Claws, go for it. After you destroyed
1118. the crusher, the DimetroZord will jump out and be freed. This
  1119. completes the mission.
  1120.
1121. Dino Egg Location: From the start of the mission, walk forward
1122. some and you will be able to see the Dino Egg on the center/left
1123. side (barely). Keep going straight and you will see a ramp going
1124. down. Go down it, then turn left and follow it until you get the
  1125. Dino Egg.
  1126.
1127. Dino Gem Requirements: This is rather tricky. You need to destroy
1128. the giant crusher in the least amount of time to get this missions
  1129. Dino Gem.
  1130.
  1131. ------------------------------------------------------------------
  1132.
1133. With the Giant Crusher destroyed, you now have the DimetroZord on
1134. your side! From where you are currently, do a complete 360 degrees
1135. turn until you see the next Red Mission Beacon. Go to it, and you
1136. can begin your next mission.
  1137.
  1138. ------------------------------------------------------------------
  1139.
1140. MISSION 19: DESTROY ALL LAVA DRIVERS
  1141. Zord Required: DimetroZord
  1142.
1143. So Mesogog's using the lava's energy to boost the power of his
1144. army. It's your job to stop that from happening. Pay attention to
1145. the cutscne, it will give you an idea of where these Lava Drivers
1146. are at. Tommy will go on describing how powerful the DimetroZord
1147. is (hint hint). Now, your mission, get down there and destroy all
1148. the Lava Drivers (there are 7 total). Here is what to do:
  1149.
1150. From the start of this mission, be very careful, a Tagger will
1151. come out and greet you, so quickly destroy it. Now, from the start
1152. go to the ledge and slowly turn from left to right and look down,
1153. you will see three Lava Drivers (left, middle and right). Jump
1154. down to the path below (avoid the lava if you can) and go after
1155. the one on the right first. From there, go a few more feet and you
1156. will see a 3-way type intersection (remember this spot). Turn
1157. right and follow the path and you will see the second Lava Driver.
1158. Take it out and continue following the covered path and there will
  1159. be third Lava Driver.
  1160.
1161. Take it out, then follow the short path up and around the hill and
1162. go after the fourth Lava Driver. After getting that one, backtrack
1163. to that 3-way intersection I told you to remember. Once there, you
1164. will see the fifth and sixth Lava Drivers. Take them out then head
1165. back to the 3-way intersection. On the way back there, you will
1166. find the last Lava Driver, so take that one out too. Once you take
1167. out all 7 Lava Drivers, you will have completed this mission.
  1168.
1169. Dino Egg Location: From the start, turn 90 degrees to the right,
1170. switch to PteraZord, and fly over to where the giant crusher was
1171. in Mission 18. That's where the Dino Egg will be.
  1172.
1173. Dino Gem Requirements: You need to destroy ALL of the RazorWorms
1174. to get this Dino Gem. Use the PteraZord to get an idea of where
1175. they are all located at.
  1176.
  1177. ------------------------------------------------------------------
  1178.
1179. Good job on taking out the Lava Drivers. Now from where you are
1180. (after taking out the last Lava Driver), switch to PteraZord, turn
1181. right about 135 degrees and fly upwards. You will then see the
1182. next Red Mission Beacon. Go to it to start Mission 20.
  1183.
  1184. ------------------------------------------------------------------
  1185.
1186. MISSION 20: DESTROY ALL CANNONS
  1187. Zord Required: TriceraZord
  1188.
1189. Tommy has found Zeltrax, whom is in the volcano, as well as an
1190. Invisiportal leading to the core. However the BrachioZord is too
1191. big to get through the Lava Fields, so you're gonna need a
1192. different source of power. But there is a bigger problem than
1193. that. There are four cannons throughout the fields. Until further
1194. notice, you'll have to avoid these cannons (for now), or it can
1195. instantly kill off your zord (infact they will cause about 3 Life
1196. Points of damage if they hit you). Not only that, but you got
1197. Lobbers and RazorWorms to deal with here as well. So what do we do
1198. on this mission then? From the start, use the PteraZord and fly
1199. straight ahead where you will see two cannons already. Stand by
1200. the first one. Tommy will come up with an idea to use the energy
1201. of the cannons to boost the power of the Invisiportal, and so he
  1202. did.
  1203.
1204. Use the TriceraZord and when in front of each cannon, reflect the
1205. attacks back at them (press SQUARE). Do this twice to destroy
1206. them. Do that for each of them. There are four cannons. From this
1207. one, turn to the right about 90 degrees and there will be the
1208. second one. Go to it and destroy it the same way. From there, turn
1209. 90 degrees to the right again, and just keep going straight and
1210. you will see the third one. After that, turn right once more 90
1211. degrees and there will be the last one. After you destroy that,
1212. get the Power Source from it then switch to the PteraZord. As
1213. that, fly all the way across the Lava Fields and you will see the
1214. Invisiportal. After that, you will now be able to enter the
1215. Volcano Core, thus completing this mission.
  1216.
1217. Good job, with that Power Source, Tommy was able to power up the
1218. Invisiportal leading to the Volcano Core! After the game saves,
1219. you will be asked to go to the Volcano Core, which you will
  1220. accept.
  1221.
1222. Dino Egg Location: As you make your way to the first cannon, look
1223. towards the left on the bottom path, and there will be the Dino
1224. Egg for this mission. To get there, walk to the edge (from where
1225. you start) and head down the ramp and just keep following the
1226. path, until you get it.
  1227.
1228. Dino Gem Requirements: Destroy all 4 cannons and get to the
1229. Invisiportal WITHOUT taking any damage from all enemy. This will
1230. be VERY tough, to say the least.
  1231.
  1232. ------------------------------------------------------------------
  1233.
1234. POWER MORPHER LOCATIONS FOR THE LAVA FIELDS: 5 Morphers Total
  1235.
1236. Tyranno Morpher: From the start of this level, head out to the
1237. open, then turn left and then up a hill. Continue following along
1238. the path and you will see the Tyranno Morpher (it'll take a little
  1239. while to get there).
  1240.
1241. Ptera Morpher: From the start of this level, use the PteraZord and
1242. fly straight until you get to the big open field on the upper
1243. area. Once there, you will see the Ptera Morpher on the left side
  1244. on a skinny pathway.
  1245.
1246. Tricera Morpher: After getting the Tyranno Morpher, continue
1247. following the path all the way around, and after awhile you will
1248. come across the Tricera Morpher. Or from the start, just turn
1249. right instead, and follow it until you get the Tricera Morpher.
  1250.
1251. Parasaur Morpher: Right where you got the Ptera Morpher, turn
1252. around 180 degrees and look down. You will see the Parasaur
1253. Morpher hidden behind some rocks. If that's not enough, go to
1254. where the Dimetro Morpher is, turn all the way around and followed
1255. the covered path, and eventually you will find the Parasaur
  1256. Morpher.
  1257.
1258. Dimetro Morpher: From the start of this level, go straight and
1259. down the small hill and you will see the Dimetro Morpher down a
1260. pathway on the lower level.
  1261.
  1262. ------------------------------------------------------------------
  1263. ------------------------------------------------------------------
  1264.
  1265.
  1266. ---------------------
  1267. G: |Level 6: Volcano Core|
  1268. ---------------------
  1269.
1270. In this world, collect all to unlock the following:
1271. Dino Eggs: Samurai Star Megazord in Blue Bay Harbor
1272. Dino Gems: Silver (Lunar) WolfZord in the Animarium
1273. Power Morphers: Samurai Star Megazord in the Rock Quarry
1274. Special Notes: Stepping in the lava will do damage to you
  1275.
1276. Now you are inside the Volcano Core. While you enjoy your
1277. cutscene tour of the area, Tommy will mention that things seem to
1278. be a little too quiet, for you to keep your guard up. After that,
1279. you will be at the starting point for this level. Do what you can
1280. to avoid touching the lava because it will damage your zord (just
1281. like in the Lava Fields). Use the PteraZord and fly straight over
1282. to the first Red Mission Beacon to begin Mission 21.
  1283.
  1284. ------------------------------------------------------------------
  1285.
1286. MISSION 21: COLLECT THE LAVA DROPS & DEFEAT ALL ENEMIES
  1287. Zord Required: Doesn't matter
  1288.
1289. Looks like Tommy found something of interest. There are Lava Drops
1290. that are showing some type of structure similar to that of the DNA
1291. of the CephalaZord. Tommy creates a Green Invisiportal for you.
1292. This is a two part mission so here we go!
  1293.
1294. PART ONE: Just like before, all you need to do is collect the Lava
1295. Drops and bring them back to the Invisiportal. There are 3 Lava
1296. Drops, so let's get them! From the start of this mission, you will
1297. see one ahead of you, but ignore that. Instead turn 90 degrees to
1298. the right and you will see another one. It's probably best that
1299. you use the PteraZord, because the lava will damage your zord.
1300. With that, go over and get the first Lava Drop. From there,
1301. backtrack over to where you saw the one from the start. This will
1302. be the second Lava Drop. After that, turn to the right about 45
1303. degrees or so, then fly upward. You will see the third Lava Drop
1304. on the ledge. Get it then head to the Invisiportal, no it's not
  1305. over yet.
  1306.
1307. PART TWO: Just when you think you freed the CephalaZord, more
1308. trouble. RazorWorms started appearing all over the place! On this
1309. second part, you must take out ALL the RazorWorms, before the
1310. Invisportal closes. Look carefully throughout this entire area,
1311. these things are everywhere. Watch out for the attacks the shoot
1312. out at you, which can cause some damage to you quickly. I will let
1313. you know that ALL the RazorWorms are out in the open, making it
1314. slightly easier for you. It's best to take out the 3 where you
1315. start off at, then go down to the bottom part and finish the rest.
1316. Once getting all the RazorWorms, you will have completed this
  1317. mission.
  1318.
1319. Dino Egg Location: From the start of this mission, turn right
1320. about 135 degrees and with the PteraZord, fly straight ahead and
1321. you will see the Dino Egg sitting high upon a ledge.
  1322.
1323. Dino Gem Requirements: Destroy ALL the RazorWorms as fast as
1324. possible to get this Dino Gem.
  1325.
  1326. ------------------------------------------------------------------
  1327.
1328. You destroyed all the RazorWorms, but where is the CephalaZord?
1329. Read on and find out. Head over to the next Red Mission Beacon to
1330. start Mission 22. It's best to use the PteraZord because the red
1331. light will blend in well with the lava in this level.
  1332.
  1333. ------------------------------------------------------------------
  1334.
1335. MISSION 22: FREEING THE CEPHALAZORD
1336. Zord Required: Tyranno, Ptera, Tricera, Parasaur and DimetroZord
  1337.
1338. After all that work, you find out that the CephalaZord is in a
1339. forcefield of some type. Tommy explains how you may be able to
1340. free it by triggering the locks. He's not sure what to do, but you
1341. do now. As the PteraZord, do a complete 180 degrees turn and fly
1342. upwards and straight. You will see the forcefield and five locks.
1343. All you need to do is take out the different colored locks with
1344. the corresponding zord that matches. It's best to do it in order,
1345. from left to right. So with that, this is the order you should go
1346. in: Tyranno, Ptera, Tricera, Parasaur, Dimetro. When faced with a
1347. lock, use your normal attack (press SQUARE) and they will be
1348. dismantled. Do that with all five locks and the CephalaZord will
1349. be freed! Think would it be that easy, never. There are Taggers
1350. that will try and stop you, making this rather tricky. But don't
1351. worry, if you get hit by one, the locks won't reset, meaning you
1352. won't have to start over, making this slighty better for you.
1353. However if you blast the cage, all the locks will reset, so keep
1354. this in mind. Once you free the CephalaZord, this mission will be
  1355. completed.
  1356.
1357. Dino Egg Location: From the start of this mission, use the
1358. PteraZord and fly straight ahead until you see a tiny little
1359. island close to the back wall, surrounded by lava. That's where
1360. the Dino Egg will be at.
  1361.
1362. Dino Gem Requirements: Dismantle all the locks without getting
1363. touched by a Tagger, which will very tricky to do.
  1364.
  1365. ------------------------------------------------------------------
  1366.
1367. Great, you've freed the CephalaZord, now it's part of the team!
1368. After freeing it, you'll still be in the same place where it was
1369. being held capture at. With that, switch to the PteraZord and fly
1370. to the next Red Mission Beacon. It'll be pretty hard to see
1371. because the color will blend in with the lava. Just from where you
1372. are currently, fly straight ahead and towards the right, you will
1373. see it (it's clear across the volcano from you). Get to the beacon
  1374. to start Mission 23.
  1375.
  1376. ------------------------------------------------------------------
  1377.
1378. MISSION 23: DESTROY THE MAGMATRONS
1379. Zord Required: Ptera and CephalaZord
  1380.
1381. You now have the CephalaZord, and just in time too. Mesogog didn't
1382. wanna leave you behind at all, alive atleast, so he plans on blow
1383. the whole volcano up. What's worse, Tommy can't activate the Lava
1384. Fields Invisiportal, because of some interference. He then finds
1385. out it's coming from several Magmatrons, basically these are
1386. timebombs that will blow the whole place up. Your mission here,
1387. take them all out before it's too late! Just like in Mission 16,
1388. this is a timed mission. There are 5 Magmatrons out in the open,
1389. however once the timer is up, another Magmatron will appear. Like
1390. before, I will only tell you of the 5 current Magmatrons
1391. locations. The new ones, will appear in the location of the last
1392. one you take out. First off, make sure you have plenty of Dino
1393. Claws, because you will need them. Second, you're gonna be
1394. switching between the PteraZord and CephalaZord.
  1395.
1396. From where you start, you will see 2 Magmatrons right away. Fly to
1397. the platform, and switch to the CephalaZord. When in range, use
1398. the CephalaZord's special ability to take out the Magmatron. After
1399. that, turn 90 degrees to the left and get the second one. After
1400. that, the third one, then the fourth one will be in plain sight.
1401. After the fourth one, keep flying past it (watch out for the
1402. Lobber) and you will see the last one on the right wall. Try to
1403. hurry before time runs out, or another one will appear. If all 9
1404. appear, this mission will be failed. Get all of them, and your
  1405. mission will be completed.
  1406.
1407. Dino Egg Location: From right where you start at, fly and follow
1408. this lava and platform filled pathway way past the last Magmatron,
1409. until you reach the open area. Before getting in the open area,
1410. fly high up and you will see the Dino Egg on a ledge. Chances are
1411. you will probably see it from a distance. Note it is not possible
1412. to get both the Dino Egg and Dino Gem at the same time, unless
  1413. you're really quick.
  1414.
1415. Dino Gem Requirements: This will be tricky. Destroy ALL the
1416. Magmatrons before any could replicate and you will receive the
1417. Dino Gem for this mission.
  1418.
  1419. ------------------------------------------------------------------
  1420.
1421. That takes care of that. Now you won't have to worry about being
1422. blown up with the volcano. After the mission is complete, you will
1423. be back in the open area. Do a 360 degree sweep of the area to
1424. find the next Red Mission Beacon. Head to it to begin Mission 24.
1425. When you choose to start this mission, you will have unlocked a
1426. new movie. What is it you ask, well you're about to find out.
  1427.
  1428. ------------------------------------------------------------------
  1429.
1430. MISSION 24: FINAL BATTLE WITH ZELTRAX
1431. Zord Required: Thundersaurus Megazord Blade Mode
  1432.
1433. Once again, you get to see the transformation sequence of the
1434. Thundersaurus Megazord. After that, the Rangers call on the
1435. DimetroZord, then you will be treated the sequence of the
1436. DimetroZord attaching itself to the megazord (straight from the TV
1437. Series), forming the Thundersaurus Megazord Blade Mode. But why
1438. would this be happening, unless?
  1439.
1440. Zeltrax: "Come with me peacefully, or suffer the consequences!"
  1441.
1442. Great, Zeltrax is back as a giant, for one final confrontation.
1443. Get ready, this will be tough. Use the same strategy as before
1444. pretty much, except with all the lava around as well as enemies,
1445. this will be alot tougher than before. Just destroy the rock
1446. formations along the walls and smaller tunnels to refill life.
1447. Incase you don't feel like scrolling back up (it's okay, I don't
1448. blame you ^_^), here is a recap on Zeltrax's fighting style:
  1449.
1450. Zeltrax will shoot out green energy balls at you, preventing you
1451. from getting too close. You really can't dodge these attacks since
1452. there is no dodge ability (WHY???). He will also raise his axe up.
1453. When he does, it will glow a greenish color. Doing this he will
1454. have placed a sheild up, knocking you back (but not damaging you).
1455. On top of that, you got all sorts of enemies around, including
1456. some that will toss small bombs at you. All is not lost, all you
1457. gotta do is when Zeltrax raises his axe, just blast at him with
1458. your normal attack. When the glow is gone, get up close and use
1459. your special attack, which is the Dimetro Sawblade. Do this a few
1460. times and he will be destroyed. One new thing to report. After
1461. taking enough damage, Zeltrax will shoot out a laser beam at you,
1462. that it's best you just jump out of the way, if you can. Aside
1463. from that, nothing new to say, just good luck and be very careful.
  1464.
1465. Zeltrax: "This battle is over, but the war has just begun!"
  1466.
1467. With that, Zeltrax teleports away. You will have unlocked a new
1468. movie now. Tommy congradulates you and opens an Invisiportal for
1469. you. Good thing too, because Zeltrax has program a self-destruct
1470. device which is going to blow up the entire volcano! This mission
1471. isn't quite over yet. While still as the Thundersaurus Megazord
1472. (Blade Mode), run over to the Invisiportal as fast as you can.
1473. Jump over the lava pits as well (unless you have alot of health,
1474. you can just run over them). You're on a time limit, so you best
1475. hurry quickly. Just turn around and run fast. Don't mess around,
1476. just get to the portal. Once you do, the mission will be over!
  1477.
  1478. ------------------------------------------------------------------
  1479.
1480. POWER MORPHER LOCATIONS FOR THE VOLCANO CORE: 6 Morphers Total
  1481.
1482. Tyranno Morpher: From where you got the Tricera Morpher, keep
1483. following the path a ways and you will see the Tyranno Morpher.
  1484.
1485. Ptera Morpher: From the start, fly past the Mission 21 Beacon and
1486. you will see an opening right behind it. Go in the opening, then
1487. fly straight up and turn to the left. You will then see the Ptera
  1488. Morpher.
  1489.
1490. Tricera Morpher: From where you got the Dimetro Morpher at, take
1491. the nearby path going up the hill. Follow it and when you get to
1492. the top, turn right and go a few feet and you will see the Tricera
  1493. Morpher.
  1494.
1495. Parasaur Morpher: As you enter the same opening behind Mission 21
1496. Beacon, you will see the Parasaur Morpher sitting up on a ledge.
1497. It's best to fly up there then switch to ParasaurZord.
  1498.
1499. Dimetro Morpher: From the starting point, turn right about 90
1500. degrees and during the turn you will see the Dimetro Morpher in a
  1501. small little cave.
  1502.
1503. Cephala Morpher: When going up the hill to get the Tricera
1504. Morpher, instead get to the top and use the PteraZord to fly
1505. straight up (while still on the hill), then turn left 90 degrees.
1506. There will be the Cephala Morpher sitting on a ledge.
  1507.
  1508. ------------------------------------------------------------------
  1509.
  1510. T H E F I N A L S C E N E :
  1511.
1512. The final scene shows the Thundersaurus Megazord (Blade Mode)
1513. jumping out of the portal, and landing at the Lava Fields. It
1514. turns around to look at the volcano blowing up completely!
  1515.
1516. Tommy: "Way to go! That should take care of the last of Mesogog's
  1517. new army of giants!"
1518. Others: "Yeah!" "Yeah!" "Alright!" "Yeah!" "Woohoo!"
1519. Tommy: "What an amazing adventure! You've proven again that when
1520. you all work together, nothing can beat you, nothing!"
  1521.
1522. After this, the Thundersaurus Megazord does it's pose, thus
1523. concluding the game. Congradulations on beating Power Rangers Dino
  1524. Thunder for the PlayStation2 and/or GameCube, whichever you're
  1525. playing this on ^_^

  1532. SECTION 2: |PLAY POWER GAMES|
  1533. ----------------
  1534.
1535. When playing the Power Games, you must first unlock a zord from the
1536. various levels by collecting Power Morphers, Dino Eggs and Dino
1537. Gems. There are 12 bonus zords you can unlock, besides the 6 zords
1538. from Dino Thunder. To read this portion of my FAQ each section will
1539. individually describe each zord (like before) then below that, what
1540. their missions are. In the Dino Thunder section, I will just skip
1541. ahead to the missions for each zord. Also note, none of these zords
1542. can combine (I know this does suck, believe me!).
  1543.
  1544. ---------------------------
  1545. A: |Dino Thunder Zords Missions|
  1546. ---------------------------
  1547.
1548. For each zord you unlock in Adventure mode, that zord will also be
1549. unlocked in ALL Power Game Missions. Beat each mission to unlock a
1550. new movie featuring that particular zord. Each area will have the
1551. same mission for each zord.
  1552.
  1553. 1. TYRANNOZORD: 4 Life Points
  1554. MISSION BEACON COLOR: Red
1555. MISSION: This will be a bit tricky. Your job here is to protect
1556. the Dino Egg no matter what. To do so, you must destroy ALL the
1557. Lobbers, because if one hits the Dino Egg, you will have failed
1558. this mission. It's probably best to go around in a circle
1559. surrounding the egg, blasting away at all Lobbers. The more you
1560. blow up, the more will regenerate. You will also be warned when
1561. one is getting really close to the Dino Egg.
  1562.
  1563. 2. PTERAZORD: 3 Life Points
  1564. MISSION BEACON COLOR: Yellow
1565. MISSION: All you need to do in this mission is fly through ALL
1566. the rings within the time allowed. Given you're using the
1567. PteraZord, this can be a bit tricky, mainly because this zord
1568. can be a bit difficult to fly. Also you got Lobbers to deal
1569. with, but try not to focus on them so much, unless one is in
1570. your way. Do this and this mission will be completed.
  1571.
  1572. 3. TRICERAZORD: 5 Life Points
1573. MISSION BEACON COLOR: Dark Blue
1574. MISSION: This will be really easy, despite the Lobbers. Just go
1575. through and destroy all the Crystals before time runs out. The
1576. timer will start going down rather fast, but it will reset for
1577. each Crystal you destroy. It's best to just follow the path of
1578. Crystals to make this easier.
  1579.
  1580. 4. PARASAURZORD: 3 Life Points
  1581. MISSION BEACON COLOR: Green
1582. MISSION: This is a really simple mission, despite the numerous
1583. Lobbers. Simply put, you must defeat ALL the Lobbers in order
1584. to complete this mission. Just run around and just use your
1585. normal attack on them all. There will be plenty of trees and
1586. rocks around to help replenish any lost life. Here's a hint,
1587. all the Lobbers are out in the open area, making this a little
  1588. easier.
  1589.
  1590. 5. DIMETROZORD: 3 Life Points
1591. MISSION BEACON COLOR: Light Blue
1592. MISSION: Just like before, this mission is rather straight
1593. forward. Just go through all the blue rings within the time
1594. allowed to complete this mission. Your only obsticle would be
1595. the Lobbers that are in this mission.
  1596.
  1597. 6. CEPHALAZORD: 4 Life Points
  1598. MISSION BEACON COLOR: Purple
1599. MISSION: This can be a bit tricky to get through. Your
1600. objective here is to destroy the giant target that is in front
1601. of you. To destroy it, use either your normal or special attack
1602. and keep hitting it until it blows up. Be careful because there
1603. will be tons of Lobbers around to give you trouble. My best
1604. tactic to use, go back and forth in front of it attacking it,
1605. that way you can easily dodge enemy attacks.
  1606.
  1607. --------------------------
  1608. B: |Ninja Storm Zords Missions|
  1609. --------------------------
  1610.
1611. These are zords from the series Power Rangers Ninja Storm. You can
1612. play in two locations, the Rock Quarry or Blue Bay Harbor (home of
1613. the Ninja Storm Rangers). Beat each mission to unlock a new movie
1614. featuring that particular zord. Each area will have the same
1615. mission for each zord. Note: Some attack names are ones I've made
  1616. up myself.
  1617.
  1618. 1: RED HAWKZORD: 2 Life Points
1619. NORMAL ATTACK: Red Energy Blasts
1620. SPECIAL ATTACK: Flame Attack; charges up then launches a big
  1621. fireball at enemies
1622. MISSION BEACON COLOR: Light Red
  1623. SPEED: Medium-paced
1624. MISSION: All you need to do in this mission is fly through ALL
1625. the rings within the time allowed. Given you're using the
1626. HawkZord, this can be a bit tricky, mainly because this zord
1627. can be a bit difficult to fly. Also you got Lobbers to deal
1628. with, but try not to focus on them so much, unless one is in
1629. your way. Do this and this mission will be completed.
  1630.
  1631. 2: YELLOW LIONZORD: 3 Life Points
1632. NORMAL ATTACK: Yellow Energy Blasts
1633. SPECIAL ATTACK: Lion Tornado Blast; fires a huge gust of wind
1634. from it's head blowing away enemies
  1635. MISSION BEACON COLOR: Yellow
  1636. SPEED: Medium-paced
1637. MISSION: This will be tricky because of where this mission is
1638. located. You need to project Power Sphere 10 from the
1639. Lobbers. This mission can be tough, but not too tough if you
1640. keep it together. It's probably best to go around in a circle
1641. surrounding the egg, blasting away at all Lobbers. The more you
1642. blow up, the more will regenerate. You will also be warned when
1643. one is getting really close to the Power Sphere. Once you
1644. destroy ALL the Lobbers, you will have completed this mission.
  1645.
  1646. 3: BLUE DOLPHOINZORD: 3 Life Points
1647. NORMAL ATTACK: Small Blue Energy Blasts that bounces off walls
1648. SPECIAL ATTACK: Dolphin Water Wall; Jumps up and dives down
1649. causing a water wall to encircle it
1650. MISSION BEACON COLOR: Blue (on a cliff)
  1651. SPEED: Medium-paced
1652. MISSION: All you need to do in this mission is "swim" your way
1653. through the rings within the time allowed. This won't be that
1654. tricky, but it won't exactly be that easy either. Also you got
1655. Lobbers to deal with, but try not to focus on them so much,
1656. unless one is in your way. Do this and this mission will be
  1657. completed.
  1658.
  1659. 4: CRIMSON INSECTAZORD: 3 Life Points
1660. NORMAL ATTACK: Energy blasts from 2 cannons
1661. SPECIAL ATTACK: Spinning Flamethrower; while it spins around
1662. fast, it shoots out huge fire blasts from it's central
  1663. cannon.
1664. MISSION BEACON COLOR: Dark Red (on a cliff)
  1665. SPEED: Extremely Fast
1666. MISSION: This can be a bit tricky to get through. Your
1667. objective here is to destroy the giant target that is in front
1668. of you. To destroy it, use either your normal or special attack
1669. and keep hitting it until it blows up. Be careful because there
1670. will be tons of Lobbers around to give you trouble. My best
1671. tactic to use, go back and forth in front of it attacking it,
1672. that way you can easily dodge enemy attacks.
  1673.
  1674. 5: NAVY BEETLEZORD: 3 Life Points
1675. NORMAL ATTACK: Pinchers (doesn't jump)
1676. SPECIAL ATTACK: Lightning Strike Blast; charges up and shoots
1677. out a stream of lightning blasting away anything in
  1678. it's path.
1679. MISSION BEACON COLOR: Purple (on the bottom level)
  1680. SPEED: Fast
1681. MISSION: This will be slightly easy, despite the Lobbers. Just
1682. go through and destroy all the Crystals before time runs out.
1683. The timer will start going down rather fast, but it will reset
1684. for each Crystal you destroy. It's best to just follow the path
1685. of Crystals to make this easier.
  1686.
  1687.
1688. 6: SAMURAI STAR MEGAZORD: 3 Life Points
1689. NORMAL ATTACK: Green Energy Blasts
1690. SPECIAL ATTACK: Hurricane Hover Attack; it lifts up and hovers
1691. while shooting out a green tornado at the enemy.
  1692. MISSION BEACON COLOR: Green
  1693. SPEED: Medium-paced
1694. MISSION: This can be a bit of a pain, mainly because of the
1695. numerous Lobbers. Simply put, you must defeat ALL the Lobbers
1696. in order to complete this mission. Just run around and just use
1697. your normal attack on them all. Be careful because there won't
1698. be much in the way of replenishing your life. Here's a hint,
1699. Destroy all the Lobbers where you start off at, then go and
1700. find the other ones. Do all this and you will have completed
1701. this mission. Note: The Samurai Star Megazord does not
1702. transform into the Samurai Star Chopper.
  1703.
  1704. -------------------------
  1705. C: |Wild Force Zords Missions|
  1706. -------------------------
  1707.
1708. These are the main zords from the series Power Rangers Wild Force
1709. (if you've seen the series, you'll know why I call them "main"
1710. zords). You can play only in one location, the Animarium (home of
1711. the Wild Force Rangers). Unfortunetly, you will not unlock a movie
1712. when you beat any mission. Note: All the attack names are ones I
  1713. made up myself.
  1714.
  1715. 1: RED LIONZORD: 3 Life Points
1716. NORMAL ATTACK: Red Energy Blasts
1717. SPECIAL ATTACK: Lion Grounder Slam; backflips and slams into
1718. the ground causing small tremors
  1719. MISSION BEACON COLOR: Red
  1720. SPEED: Fast
1721. MISSION: This will be tricky because of where this mission is
1722. located. You need to project the 5 Animal Crystals from the
1723. Blue (?) Lobbers. What makes this tricky is that you have
1724. platforms sitting on the river, that you will have to jump on
1725. just to destroy the Lobbers. Although you can be in the water
1726. to do this mission, it'll be slightly easier to be on a
1727. platform. Once you destroy ALL the Lobbers, you will have
  1728. completed this mission.
  1729.
  1730. 2: YELLOW EAGLEZORD: 2 Life Points
1731. NORMAL ATTACK: Yellow Energy Blasts
1732. SPECIAL ATTACK: Sonic Eagle Screech; creates energy waves by
1733. screeching which takes out everything in it's path
  1734. MISSION BEACON COLOR: Yellow
  1735. SPEED: Medium-paced
1736. MISSION: This mission can be tough, because you only have a
1737. couple life points to work with. You need to go through all the
1738. blue rings with the time allowed. You will also have tons of
1739. Lobbers to deal with. If at all possible, AVOID THEM! Once you
1740. fly through all the rings, you will have completed this
  1741. mission.
  1742.
  1743. 3: BLUE SHARKZORD: 3 Life Points
1744. NORMAL ATTACK: Blue Energy Blasts
1745. SPECIAL ATTACK: Waterwave Shark Dance; spins around several
1746. times causing water to rise and uses it tail to cut
  1747. through anything around.
  1748. MISSION BEACON COLOR: Blue
  1749. SPEED: Medium-paced
1750. MISSION: All you need to do in this mission is "swim" your way
1751. through the rings within the time allowed. This won't be that
1752. tricky, but it won't exactly be that easy either. And yes, you
1753. will be going around in circles alot. Also you got Lobbers to
1754. deal with, but try not to focus on them so much, unless one is
1755. in your way. Do this and this mission will be completed.
  1756.
  1757. 4: WHITE TIGERZORD: 3 Life Points
1758. NORMAL ATTACK: Pink Energy Blasts
1759. SPECIAL ATTACK: Tiger Fury Stomp; stomps the ground followed by
1760. a huge fireball being launched.
  1761. MISSION BEACON COLOR: White
  1762. SPEED: Fast
1763. MISSION: This can be a bit of a pain, mainly because of the
1764. numerous Lobbers. Simply put, you must defeat ALL the Lobbers
1765. in order to complete this mission. Just run around and just use
1766. your normal attack on them all. There will be plenty of trees
1767. and rocks around to help replenish any lost life. Here's a
1768. hint, Destroy all the Lobbers where you start off at, then go
1769. and find the other ones. Do all this and you will have
  1770. completed this mission.
  1771.
  1772. 5: BLACK BISONZORD: 3 Life Points
1773. NORMAL ATTACK: Horn Crusher (doesn't jump)
1774. SPECIAL ATTACK: Bison Rushing Tackle; charges up then takes off
1775. which causes a cloud to appear, then use it's antlers
  1776. to crush through everything.
  1777. MISSION BEACON COLOR: Black
  1778. SPEED: Extremely Slow
1779. MISSION: This can be pretty tough to get through, mainly
1780. because the BisonZord is so slow. Just go through and destroy
1781. all the Crystals before time runs out. The timer will start
1782. going down rather fast, but it will reset for each Crystal you
1783. destroy. It's best to just follow the path of Crystals to make
1784. this easier. Destroy them all and you will have completed this
  1785. mission.
  1786.
  1787. 6: LUNAR WOLFZORD: 3 Life Points
1788. NORMAL ATTACK: Blue/Gray Energy Blasts
1789. SPECIAL ATTACK: Howling Wolf Attack; howls which creates energy
1790. waves destroying everything within a 100 feet radius.
1791. MISSION BEACON COLOR: White (near Yellow Mission Beacon)
  1792. SPEED: Pretty Fast
1793. MISSION: This can be a bit tricky to get through. Your
1794. objective here is to destroy the giant target that is in front
1795. of you. To destroy it, use either your normal or special attack
1796. and keep hitting it until it blows up. Be careful because there
1797. will be tons of Lobbers around to give you trouble. My best
1798. tactic to use, go back and forth in front of it attacking it,
1799. that way you can easily dodge enemy attacks. Destroy the
1800. generator and you will have completed this mission.

  1807. SECTION 4: |EXTRAS (OTHER STUFF)|
  1808. --------------------
  1809.
  1810. -----
  1811. A: |Items|
  1812. -----
  1813.
1814. These are the items in the game, which will help you out when
1815. playing the game. Most of them are hidden within trees and rocks
1816. and other things, so run through or blow up various things to get
  1817. these items.
  1818.
1819. 1. Dino Bolt: Collect 100 of these to refill ALL of your zords
1820. Life Points. These are the silver lightning bolt you see on every
1821. Power Rangers title screen in each of the series. They can be
1822. found in a variety of different things.
  1823.
1824. 2. Power Cell: These refill 1 Life Point to your current Zord you
1825. are playing as, at that moment. They are green triangle shaped
1826. items. They can be found in a variety of different things.
  1827.
1828. 3. Generators: These usually contain different power items. They
1829. are mostly diamond shape and scattered throughout the lands. They
  1830. will regenerate after awhile.
  1831.
1832. 4. Dino Dart: These will give your zord a small boost of speed.
1833. These are blue and yellow lightning bolts. These are usually found
  1834. in Light Blue Generators.
  1835.
1836. 5. Dino Claw: These will allow you to pull off a Special Attack.
1837. These look like a dinosaur paw print with a circle around it.
1838. When playing a Power Game, the Dino Claw will look like either the
1839. symbol from Ninja Storm or a lion type symbol from Wild Force.
1840. These are usually found in Orange or Brown Generators.
  1841.
1842. 6. Dino Egg: Each mission has these items, find them to unlock
1843. bonus worlds and zords. They look like regular eggs with spots on
  1844. them.
  1845.
1846. 7. Power Morphers: Collect these to unlock bonus worlds and zords.
1847. To collect them, you must have the matching zord with the morpher
1848. (Example: Only the TyrannoZord can collect the Tyranno Morpher).
1849. These look roughly like the same morphers you see on the Dino
  1850. Thunder series.
  1851.
1852. 8. Dino Gems: These are given to you after you complete a mission,
1853. in a certain way (listen for hints given by Tommy on how to get
1854. them). Collect them to unlock bonus worlds and zords.
  1855.
1856. 9. Green Invisiportals: These are in some missions which can be
1857. used to unlock/save the captured Dino Zords. These are green and
1858. can be seen from a distance.
  1859.
1860. 10. Blue Invisiportals: These will allow you to transport from one
1861. area to another. They are blueish white color and can be seen
  1862. from a distance.
  1863.
  1864. ------------------------
  1865. B: |Mesogog's Army (Enemies)|
  1866. ------------------------
  1867.
1868. These are the enemies in the game. Sure there isn't that many, but
1869. they do make up in quantity.
  1870.
1871. 1. Lobbers: These floating things will shoot out green projectiles
1872. at you, but nonetheless these aren't too difficult to get rid of.
1873. They have 4 tenticles and a glass dome head.
  1874.
1875. 2. FreezerWorms: Creatures that are stationary. They will shoot
1876. out ice attacks at you, which will freeze you for a short time.
1877. They are light blue and never moves. Approach with caution.
  1878.
1879. 3. Taggers: These are very annoying creatures that will teleport
1880. you to another location if they touch you. They are fast when they
1881. see you, so be careful. They are purple with 4 tentacles sticking
  1882. out.
  1883.
1884. 4. Mine Droppers: These slow moving creatures will float around
1885. and drop landmines. Once one is deployed, it will create an energy
1886. barrier that will do damage. These creatures aren't tough, but
1887. still be careful. They pretty much look like 4 tenticles attached
  1888. together.
  1889.
1890. 5. RazorWorms: Just like the FreezerWorms, only slightly more
1891. difficult. These will shoot out red projectiles as well as bombs
1892. at you. Be very careful when dealing with these creatures. They
1893. look like FreezerWorms, except they are orange in color.
  1894.
1895. 6. Zeltrax: The main boss of the game that you only get to fight
1896. twice. He looks much different than in the TV Series, but that
1897. doesn't mean you have to take him lightly.
  1898.
  1899. -------------
  1900. C: |Movie Theater|
  1901. -------------
  1902.
1903. One of the features you get in this game is that you can unlock
1904. movie clips, which are usually clips taken from the game as well
1905. as footage from the TV series of Dino Thunder and Ninja Storm. So
1906. with that, below is spoilers for both TV series (incase you
1907. haven't seen them). Also note this, PRDT is Dino Thunder and PRNS
1908. is Ninja Storm. If you win any Dino Thunder or Ninja Storm Power
1909. Game with the following (unless otherwise noted), this is what you
  1910. will get:
  1911.
1912. 1. TyrannoZord (PRDT): This shows some footage from "Day Of The
1913. Dino Part 2" where the Red Ranger is trying to tame the
  1914. TyrannoZord.
1915. 2. PteraZord (PRDT): This shows some footage from "Day Of The
1916. Dino Part 2" where the Yellow Ranger is trying to tame the
  1917. PteraZord.

1919. Dino Part 2" where the Blue Ranger is trying to tame the

1922. Thunder Part 2" of the Parasaur Zord making the scene for the
  1923. first time.
1924. 5. DimetroZord (PRDT): This shows some footage from "Beneath The
1925. Surface" where the DimetroZord is battling the other 3 Zords.
1926. 6. CephalaZord (PRDT): This shows some footage from "Back In
1927. Black" where the Black Ranger calls on the CephalaZord to help
1928. the Rangers fight the Pollinator monster.
1929. 7. Win Mission 12 (In game/PRDT): This shows the transformation
1930. sequence of the Thundersaurus Megazord.
1931. 8. Win Mission 23 (In game/PRDT): This shows the transformation
1932. sequence of the Thundersaurus Megazord with the DimetroZord
  1933. attaching to it.
1934. 9. HawkZord (PRNS): This shows some footage from "There's No 'I'
1935. In Team" where the HawkZord comes out and uses it's Flame
1936. Attack on the Mad Magnet monster.
1937. 10. LionZord (PRNS): This shows some footage from "There's No 'I'
1938. In Team" where the LionZord comes out, and uses it's Tornado
1939. Blast attack for the first time.
1940. 11. DolphinZord (PRNS): This shows some footage from "There's
1941. No 'I' In Team" where the DolphinZord is battling the
1942. Mad Magnet monster, and the Wind Rangers jumping into their
  1943. zords.
1944. 12. Crimson InsectaZord (PRNS): This shows some footage from
1945. "Thunder Strangers Part 1" where the Crimson Ranger calls on
1946. his zord and it fires on the HawkZord.
1947. 13. Navy BeetleZord (PRNS): This shows some footage from "Thunder
1948. Strangers Part 1" of the Navy Ranger battling the Wind
  1949. Rangers, in his zord.
1950. 14. Samurai Star Megazord (PRNS): This shows some footage from
1951. "Samurai's Journey Part 2" when the Green Ranger is battling
1952. Madtropolis in his Samurai Star Chopper, which then transforms
1953. into the Samurai Star Megazord.
1954. 15. Always Available (In game): This shows the opening footage
1955. where Conner explains what happend to Kira and Ethan to Tommy.
1956. 16. Win Mission 24 (In game): This shows the final footage of the
1957. Thundersaurus Megazord (Blade Mode) leaving the volcano before
  1958. it blows up.
  1959.
1960. Why aren't Wild Force clips available, who really knows. It's
1961. rather odd actually that you can unlock the main zords from Wild
1962. Force, but you can't view any of their clips. Oh well, if you have
1963. any info on why this is, email me of course, and you will be
  1964. credited ^_^

  2014.
2015. Go, Go, Power Rangers! Well I admit I have been a fan of Power
2016. Rangers practically the whole time it's been out. In Space, Time
2017. Force, Wild Force and Dino Thunder are my most favorite series,
2018. and I will continue watching Power Rangers until it ends
2019. completely (who knows when that will be). Now, will I make maps
2020. for this game? Who really knows, maybe when I'm bored I might ^_^.
2021. I hope this walkthrough helps you out in any way possible.
  2022.
2023. Ok, I'll make this quick and simple. This walkthrough is my work.
2024. This FAQ can only be hosted by GameFAQs.com, GameSpot.com, IGN.com
2025. and Neoseeker.com. Anyone else, well guess it will have to depend
2026. on my mood. You can use whatever info you want, so long as you
2027. give me credit and don't alter anything. I perfer you to email me
2028. at StarFighters76@hotmail.com if you're gonna do anything with
2029. this walkthrough. Failure to comply with this, and I will be mad,
2030. among other things. ;-). If you have questions, comments, or see
2031. something I may of missed, email me at StarFighters76@hotmail.com
2032. and tell me what it is. I will give you full credit for doing so.
2033. Not much left to say, except, thanks for using my walkthrough! ^_^
