	Upon first glance, Kangjoon seems very mean, uncaring, almost despondent. It's not an unreasonable assumption, given that on his worst days, his eyes betray a startling amount of anger, self-hatred, sadness, and emotions that people couldn't possibly put a label on. Kangjoon, despite popular belief is a very passionate guy. He feels a lot - more than most even, which is why he ended up the way that he did in the place that he is. He can be rash, thinks with his heart, and despite being able to be objective for just about everyone else, he can't do so for himself. Because of everything that he's gone through though, he's trying his very hardest to protect himself - to making himself unapproachable and unfriendly, to not show his emotions on his face, to hide anything that may be seen as a vulnerability.

	This of course results in a person that becomes well known as unendingly stubborn and selfish, always doing what he wants and talking his way out of just about anything. He's a quick thinker and good at getting out of situations, cunning and clever in the best ways - he's been known to manipulate even the most rigid of adults in such a manner that he gets his way without them knowing what they've done.

	That being said, he values respect, honor, and honesty greatly. Even though he's not close with his family, these are things that were ingrained into him from a young age and as he grew to understand, he only agreed that these were important, though he didn't prefer the method his parents used.

	He's very down to earth and unpredictable, making spur of the moment plans or doing things that come to mind without thinking twice about it, but anyone looking in from the outside would have a serious "wtf?" moment. His friends admire how down to earth he is because even though he tries to act like he's given up on the world, he always holds a secret hope for it that shines through in the pearls of wisdom he bestows on his friends when giving advice.

	He's the type to be very nonchalant about everything he does, shrugging off high praises, but still allowing his pride to shine through. He cares about the few he lets into his circle an unbelievable amount, but he very rarely will voice it - a result of the attempt to quell his emotions. He's very observant and analytical, noticing patterns and making connections most people wouldn't even realize. He likes to show that he doesn't do much, giving off a very calm and lazy vibe that's actually quite relaxing, so it's no surprise that his friends are shocked the first time he participates in an athletic event and places within the top 3.

	His lifestyle wholeheartedly embodies the go-with-the-flow concept. He loves trying new things, sudden changes in plan don't phase him, but he still likes knowing what the plan is. The more information he has the better because he will refuse to do anything he doesn't know the story behind or know the purpose of. That being said, he actually had a hard time making decisions and generally needs options or something of the like, because the idea of having endless options is something that would make his mind combust from the thought of picking just one.

	Despite that he tends to forget to mention his own plans to anyone so his friends quickly learned to make a habit of knowing his usual spots and general schedule if they need him. Initially, they had a whole groupchat dedicated to finding Kangjoon (and maybe cursing his evasive butt) for whenever he disappeared.
