  1. Amersfoort
  2. With Vani & Co
  3.
  4. The theme of the escape room was a research lab/testing facility.
  5. There was a patient/subject who escaped and had gone mad
  6.
  7. You start in a small room where you get instructions regarding story and rules.
  8. You then enter the dome. This is supposedly the only room you go in.
  9. You have been warned beforehand that a hallucinating gas might escape
  10.
  11. The first puzzle involved 4 balls and 4 tubes.
  12. You had to put those 4 balls in somewhere, and then they fell down into the tubes.
  13. After a few seconds, they were shot up, and you had to press the button when they were in their respective green areas.
  14.
  15. The table in the middle opened up and there was a hexagon with lines (like a maze)
  16. And a symbol on each side with a line.
  17. We had to put the hexagon in 6 different rotations to find which 2 symbols connected for each rotation. Each solution gave a code we had to fill in.
  18.
  19. We had a suitcase that needed 6 fuses to stop the hallucinating gas.
  20.
  21. This released the hallucinating gas.
  22.
  23. A new door opened, where there was a crane to grab fuses.
  24. There was a hole on the right for the cran, and a big hole in the middle.
  25. We tried 2 times, and the fuses dropped in the middle hole. We thought they were supposed to go to the right.
  26.
  27. Alas, something happened in the original room. I believe it asked us to grab the hexagon again.
  28.
  29. The crane disappeared and there was a now a path to a fast food place.
  30. We got an explanation as to what was going on. There was a checker like board on the floor with symbols of food, and numbers.
  31.
  32. On the screen there was a map of the room with points of interest. We had to touch 6 tiles at the same time.
  33. The puzzles mostly involved some form of counting. It was information overload, so the trick was to figure out what to look for.
  34.
  35. Once we'd done that, we had to throw a burger into a hole.
  36. It took us 3 tries. The hole was behind glass. Once we'd solved it, a hatch below opened so we could go behind the glass.
  37.
  38. Here we had to place the suitcase in a designated area. This opened the door to the freezer.
  39.
  40. There was another area to put the suitcase, this opened the revolving door. Only one person got the chance to go through.
  41. There was a slide to an area down where it was completely dark.
  42.
  43. Upstairs we had a screen with 4 cameras that were downstairs.
  44. It told us a button had to be pressed. So we had guide the person downstairs to the button. Once he'd pressed it, the lights turned on.
  45. There was a 3x3 puzzle that we had the solution to. We had to communicate the solution to him through a faulty intercom. This was very challenging.
  46.
  47. Eventually we got it, and the lights turned off, then we were instructed to also go through the revolving door. The only problem was that it was completely dark.
  48. Eventually we got downstairs and there was a NES game that we had to play. The controller let you move. Then there were three buttons spread about the room that did jump, reload, and shoot. The game's layout was exactly as the room we were in.
  49. We had to collect coins in the game.
  50.
  51. Once we had reached the slide, a cube fell out.
  52. This cube was connected to three panels, that in turn turned on platforms in the game. Turning on these platforms allowed us to jump up high and collect coins.
  53.
  54. Once we had collected all the coins, the game went into a Chinese area, where we had a boss fight with the crazy guy that escaped the facility. Once that was done, a door opened.
  55.
  56. This led into the Chinese themed room from the game.
