  5. This match was a very technical one with a lot of factors to keep in mind while racing, but both teams were able to handle the challenge very well. The way I see it, BbB manage to grab control of the Arthur Brown Special and the I Me Mines, while CC grab the Dead or Alive and the PAFI. So, how do strategies shake out with these items on hand?
  6.
  7. Fairly well for Crimson, it turns out. The I Me Mine reflections won't be able to get past CC's drone defenses to puncture the wheels, and dirt walls to block out the Arthur Brown Special shots. On BbB's side, I feel they don't have very strong defenses against the remaining two items their opponents have, other than disabling them from the inside with New Ways.
  8.
  9. Which brings us to another important point, that being how New Ways had infested the racer's vehicles at the very start of the match. Being able to simultaneously pillage every kart at once let's BbB get an edge up on their opponents, as even if they don't manage to take the weapons themselves, the New Ways inside those weapons can disable further use form them.
  10.
  11. The Crimson Chiefs aren't slouches, though, and have prepared a myriad of flaming and non flaming drones in play to help stave off new ways from approaching and damaging their vehicle. However, in their defenses, they miss one crucial area of defense. Their undercarriage, which while normally protected from threats, is open to invasion thanks to BbB's plan for New Way ground spikes. This will allow the New Ways to infiltrate the CC's cart, most likely around the end of lap 1. By lap 2, their kart will be getting torn up from below.
  12. On the BbB side, while direct offense or speed might not be your strong suits, you make up for it thanks to deception and controlling the tide of the race. With New Ways focusing most weapons away from your kart, the CC team will be the main adversary to focus on during the race, and you have adequate ways to take O most of the Wanderer's tricks. However, I feel like you underplayed Monster's role in this match, as his flamethrowers would be absolutely devastating to any karts that might get soaked in gas, and as you need to drive close enough to the gas to make oil clones, there's a good possibility team Bygone Babylon will get coated a bit by it. Also, if you wind up having to change karts to the oil karts, a single spout of flames could spell disaster. Thankfully, with the new ways digging into CC's gas tanks and other parts of their ride, an errant or too close flame spout could have the opposite effect, instead blowing up CC's kart by accident.

  14. As for who ultimately wins the race in my eyes? That'd be team Babylon. Their defenses should hold out long enough for Crimson Chief's kart to become infested by tunneling New Ways, and as they'll continue to dismantle the kart from below, Bygone Babylon will be able to cement a lead ahead of them. If both karts did wind up becoming unsalvageable, I think the oil reflection kart will give Babylon a slight edge in speed compared to CC's options. For scores, I'm giving BbB a 9/10, while for CC, I'm giving a 7/10. Both great strategies, with CC missing just one piece to their defensive measures, allowing New Ways to finally work their way into the kart and wreak havoc.

  18. First off, I’m disappointed. 4 of these teams didn’t even submit their strat. I had hight hopes for Loophole, Thrift Shop, and Am I Wrong. Not Hi Hi though.

  20. In all seriousness, the two teams performed pretty amazingly, making it a shame that one of them has two go. I loved how every team uses their weapons, though like Baby Waluigi I think BbB did better with Arthur Brown and I Me than with Pafi and DoA, and vice-versa for crimson chiefs.

  22. Both plans are thorough , have a lot of counters, and employ a lot of cool techniques like flamethrower drones and mine reflections. There is only one thing, I feel, that gives them a slight edge over the other. That would be the New Ways infesting the underside. This is only a slight edge, one I feel would be noticed eventually and deal with by the Chiefs. However, it’s enough to give them one point of difference.

  30. Both teams had great strats in this match. A good opening play by the Babylon Rogues using New Way to take over other vehicles to disable, steal items from them, and even cause crashes gives them a great advantage at the start of the race. The Chiefs of Crimson’s answer to New Way by using drones to keep the enemy stand’s drills at bay as well as defend against other projectiles. Unfortunately, oversight or not, the Chiefs fail to cover the undercarriage of their vehicle as New Way has drills burrowing underground.
  31.
  32. The Chiefs being so aggressive in this match lends even further to Babylon’s use of New Way as they attack the other competitors that are likely under control of New Way in the race before moving on to them. This allows Babylon to set up more obstacles and distractions as they aren’t in immediate danger. Babes By the Beach get a 9/10 and the King Crimson Chiefs get a 7/10.
