Giant Crab

{NARRATION} The Group? Assembled.
A Boat? Chartered.
Children? Forced into hard labor.

The Elder Necromancer and... Goth Dryad would venture forth into the world. Seeking a rare Elemental Core from a mysterious Volcanic island due north east. The island was a sailors tale, but. Well.

Obviously it existed.

After a few hard days of travel, the waters around Agartha are very rough you see, they'd arrive at the beach in the middle of night.

Looking up they'd see a heavily jungled island. Trees and vines hanging off of various, TALL AS FUCK, cliffs. They'd have to trek upwards to get anywhere.

The climate? Oh lord was it humid. You could hear buzzing mosquitos fly around, taking the occasional drive by suck when they could.

After days of preparation, much planning, finally they were able to assemble the group and go in search for what they were looking for. It was a few days of travel, but there they were, an island.

An island that had a very humid environment, which the old necromancer liked. A good place!

In slow steps he walked straight ahead on the beach. Undeads around him, a small group he brought along with him to help, as well as the rest of the group members, Tlaz, Yuki and Servaso.

He glanced sideways at the rest and in a serious tone said, "Stay together, don't get far away. Focus on our primary goal, if we find anything more interesting, we'll see if we get it or not.

Otherwise, anyone who do something stupid, know that I will not save ya. We are in an environment far from our comfortable city, stay Always alert.” And then he continued walking foward.

Aldrah was already a little experienced in going on expeditions, where if you were in an unfamiliar place, you should always be alert and do nothing stupid that might cause problems for ya and the rest of the people that is there to help you.

An aura of abnormal cold circled the necromancer, those around him might feel as if something touched their souls, trying to pull it away, but in a somewhat mild way.

The feet of the pink Dryad made her first step unto the island, observing the environment with the terrible climate... Not to mention those mosquitos.

"Are you sure this is the place, Aldrah? It looks horrible."

Tlaz murmured, while constantly slapping and crushing the mosquitos buzzing around like an annoying bug the moment she embarked the land.

"Mosquitos... Suck!"

Adding up before awaiting for Aldrah to move along the path towards the goal of their ambition coming onto this cursed island.

Regardless the trees and vines hanging on around them, Tlaz brought her own to accompany them throughout the event.

It was a good idea to cover most of her parts with the current clothing she wears, otherwise there'd be many places the mosquitos could reach.

Furthermore... The cliffs.

"Guess we'll have to do some hiking to reach our objective."

She said.

The Cliff, was two times tall as fuck as described if it were Tlaz to climb.

Servaso would get a wide smile, this had been what the uncomfortable journey had all been about after all
Sure it was a bit rough, a bit mosquitoy but that didn't matter, to think positively it was just nice to see something so unrefined, it had a special appeal so to speak.

His sense of adventure had been sated, he'd stretch his body and then happily speak
"Finally, we're here~"
With that he'd stretch his arms behind his head to finish it off while listening to Aldrah speak, he'd simply nod along, occasionally smacking away mosquitos who got a bit too friendly

"My oh my, this is seeming like a good expedition"
Servaso would optimistically say with the experience his grand total of 1 other expedition 'gave' him

Curiosity had brought this child to this island. Their first big adventure away from home. This time Yuki didn't even bring their dog as the girly looking kitsune had no idea where exactly they were going or how long they would be away from home.

The rough seas rocking the ship the past few days with the kid feeling a bit sea sick on the first day on the boat. Was this what it was like on the sea? Yuki wondered, ecstatic when they finally hit the sandy shores only to gaze up at the large cliff side dangling with vines.

Yeah.. The kitsune should've learned a little bit of gravity to make this adventure slightly easier. They thought to themselves as a rather loud smack could be heard when they crushed a poor insect sucking on some blood.

"Great."

Yuki didn't like the idea of hiking up a steep cliff on top of that the pesky mosquitos as well.

"Fine.. I'll try to stay out of trouble."

The kitsune was pretty young but that wasn't going to stop them.

{NARRATION} As Aldrah's aura goes out, a response is given!

A hail of bubbles comes from the cliffs! Tlazohtzin is able to notice it. Up and to the left is where they originated from!

But knowing is only half the battle! Or some other corny shit like that. The crackling of claws is accompanied by the reign of terror that is currently descending upon the party!


What do they do?


The sharp eyes of the Dryad glared upon the incoming bubbles while moving her right hand up wards, and under her sleeves? There were spores being launched.

Little specks of spores that pierced through the bubbles like nothing, one by one as it would soon fade the moment it reached too high from its' range.

"Goddamn midgets."

She said, knowing the fact that she's a midget herself... A series of vines being drawn upon the cliff, climbing at a rapid rate towards the direction of the bubbles.

"It's coming from the top left of the cliff!"

The Dryad shouted.

While the vines were... Reaching, hunting, "sniffing out" whoever is throwing those puny little bubbles towards the party of people trying to gather resources for the good cause.

Upon reaching the top, what would the vine find? Were there people or something else attacking them? Was the island even populated by humans?

There's only one way to find out.

Those fox ears start to twitch at the strange sounds of clicking or was it clacking? It reminded them like some sort of bird or maybe a rather large crab. They weren't sure but they stuck close to the group. They were older and more experienced than they were or at least they hoped.

"What's that noise? Do you guys hear that? It's like something clicking or something. Where is it coming from?"

Yuki was asking so many questions. The teen kitsune quite curious if it was friend or foe or if it was even alive.

"Hey Mister? What should we do? You think it's gonna try to attack us?"

They asked Aldrah as the started manipulate a small yellow flame, floating just above their hand.

Then, with the group warned, the necromancer could move on! And so he did, where with some undeads a little in front of him, but all circling their master, he continued.

But out of nowhere, bubbles came from the cliffs, undead warriors just went forward and served as a shield to the necromancer. But what in name of Azrael would attack them..

He stopped and looked around, not knowing where the attack came from. But listening to the crackling of claws, he knew it was time to act.

Raising his hand in the direction of the attack, he said, "Search the area, find out what attacked us, now!" A high and authoritative tone that made the undeads start looking for what attacked the group.

Aldrah in turn began to float, rising just above the ground. A colder aura than before began to circulate him, in an aggressively manner to all around, expanding even more at each second.

Servaso felt the chill of aldrah, making him shake a bit as it was a strange sensation from an ally, utterly harmless as it was it sure wasn't a reassuring thing

Afterwards servaso would realize it was preparation time and he'd flash his own aura, a bright light which was quite relaxing despite how intense the spectacle was as he'd twirl his staff to gather his energy, preparing for whatever was to come
Ironically however as this was happening he would totally miss the ensuing danger.

He'd get his attention drawned by Tlaz yelling out, turning his head to the threat, Servaso was a bit confused as to what exactly was happening but he'd trust the call and start to speak

"Oh dear! it seems we aren't alone."
He'd say, going back to a more passive stance as the threat was nowhere to be seen, placing a finger on his chin to think

He'd then fire a fluid stream of light at the direction of where they were attacked, hoping to spot it.

Thanks to the Dryad's astute observation and Servaso becoming a living spot light, they're capable of giving Aldrah the slightest edge he needs to find...!!!!

A giant crab monster?

The beast releases a bubbly scream! Foaming from the mouth and clacking its claws like mad, it begins a descent down the Cliffside, in order to meet the party! All the while shooting streams of bubbles at them.

In what'd probably be dangerous combat!!


Yet the beast itself was a bit slow. Since, you know, its a huge crab. So they had just the slightest amount of time to do something

anything

to turn this battle in their favor.



What had descended from the top to meet them? A huge seafood! What a jolly good day to visit an unknown island, this thing can be a good meal.

"A huge food!"

The girl shouted out loud towards the crab, giving it the idea of being eaten or even cooked alive if it were to be defeated! How cruel.

"Let's kill or capture it!"

Yet again, a bad idea was released from the girl's mouth.

The huge blade was withdrawn from her back as a tool of combat, the Dryad does not have the need to hesitate to defeat the huge crab even if it can be messy if she loses.

The vines that had discovered the crab returned to the Dryad's side, constantly pointing its' sharp bits towards the humongous creature preparing to strangle and pierce it.

Attuned to nature, even deadly blooms emerged from the ground to assist by throwing out bunch of spores to the crab as an effort to help defeating it.

Surely enough the party accompanying her will assist as well since they all share a common goal coming to this island.

And with the help of Servaso and Tlaz, Aldrah had been able to find the creature! At least the rest of the group would be useful for something.

A giant crab.. Fascinating! But Aldrah would have no time to look much at that, as the creature continued to shot waves of bubbles toward them.

The necromancer quickly pulled the staff from his back and began to float backwards. Undeads starting to scatter around the site, archers in main seeking suitable points to shoot the creature.

He pointed at the creature and shouted, "There is the disgusting being that attacked us! And apparently he has no intention of stopping!

At my signal, attack! Bring down this being." He said to the group.

He hoped nothing bad would happen, it shouldn't be too hard, it was just a crab after all, and the group was really strong!

Now thinking.. The creature looked interesting, maybe the necromancer could give thecreature body a use? But that would be after they had finished killing the crab.

Then, still pointing at the creature, a shard of ice formed from the staff and was shot toward the creature! The group could understand that as the signal to attack.

"There!"
He'd shout as the crab was spotted by the combined effort of Aldrah Tlaz and Servaso

Working together, they'd all spot the Crab creature, it was a very clearly furious, looking to rip them to shreds, however servaso had total trust in everyone here and was sure they'd make it through
As it started it's angry charge towards the group, servaso would twirl his staff forward before it started to spin in the air, twisting his light energy around his staff as he pointed it towards the crab
he'd then proceed to quickly summon out his daemon, sensing he'd need it for the full fight.


"Okie dokie guys, time to demonstrate the invaluable asset of teamwork hehe."
He'd say, giggling as he finished speaking
He'd then proceed to wait for the signal, he knew that when a much more capable person was present it was smart to just follow their lead

Watched the others react towards the beast. Yuki was more worried with the size of those claws than the bubbles even if it did seem slow. If those claws could get a hold of you. It didn't like it would be too pretty afterwards.

The kitsune taking out their staff that was made from a friend of theirs, sending out a yellow ball of fire towards the creature. Yuki wasn't sure if they wanted this thing alive or well done but this creature was going down one way or another.

"Team work? I will try."

They never fought in a tag team before least they couldn't remember. The kid was pretty sure they didn't but they would try their best.

"Does this mean we get to eat seafood?"

Avoiding the most crucial part of the crab; The brain, the Dryad simply went for the second course of action - Make the crab bleed out.

In which she did, the blade of hers punctured the shell of the crab, constantly drawing out whatever liquid it is that's flowing through the creature keeping it alive.

Knowing full damn well Aldrah would use the body for! A crazy experiment of necromancy, the brain is important for it so let's keep it undamaged shall we?

"You know what, I'm not hungry anymore."

Tlaz murmured, though to her surprise... Everyone else was basically rekt by the giant crab.

Was the Dryad the strongest? Strange, this is one weird luck to accompany her on her journey today.

The combat had been ruthless, the creature was quite strong, had powerful water skills that were able to give the group some trouble.

During the fight Aldrah had been caught by the being, his bones being a little crushed by the claws of the crab monster, and his skin burned by boiling water. Oh boy, that hurted. The old man screamed in pain! But by the old man's luck, Tlaz had been able to end the creature. Draining his blood.

Falling to the ground, the old man with trembling hands opened his satchel, pulling out a flask of green liquid. He hurriedly drank it, making a disgusted expression.

Then he was able to get up, some of the pain in his skin was gone from the medicine, but still a bit of pain.

He looked around and said, "Good job.. Everyone.. What a disgusting creature.. But interesting one, aye.

Thank you, Tlaz, for not damaging him too much. Let me take care of the body from now on, ya can go.” Finished saying, walking over to the crab.

Still with a shaking hand, he touched the creature's carapace, beginning to freeze its body. After freezing the body of the being, undeads came and took the frozen body, leading to the boat they had used to go there.

The old necromancer would give that body a use, later.
