It wasn't until the year before he entered Hogwarts that his life was practically turned upside down. A typical weeknight for the Black family household, until their mother - who was a detective within the Magical Law Enforcement at the time - came home in a somber mood, something that the twins were not used to. It was then that she sat them down, alongside their pseudo-brother, Teddy Rosario, to tell them that their father had been killed in his work.

This was exceptionally hard for Solis, as he was constantly referred to as his father's "twin"; in personality and in looks. After that, Solis, who was once a sociable and outgoing child, began to isolate himself into a stage of hostility and resentment. His mind revolved around one thing - finding out who was responsible for his father's murder, and seeking revenge.

During his early years, a lot of his time was spent with his mother's Phoenix - Amora. She brought him comfort naturally, and that was something that no human could accomplish after his father's death. It wasn't long until Amora mated (with a family friend's phoenix) in order to produce an egg, which Solis watched as if it were his own. When that baby hatched, Solis spent even more time around it. It was his bestfriend, until one day, he just stopped coming around. Solis is unsure as to why the phoenix left him, but he feels betrayed and above all, lost. He knows that Phoenixes tend to stick around those with good intentions, and "pure hearts", so did that mean he was losing his?[/font][/div][/td][/tr][/tbody][/table]

[div align="justify"][font face="times new roman" color="#444444"]Solis is the perfect mixture of the Frenlore and Black lineage -- he has the raggidy maroon haircut, as well as the sunken in facial features that many of the Black family carry. Prior to his transformation, Solis resembled his dark ancestry in terms of figure; a slender, smaller than most others his age, and awkwardly shaped build. He was always smaller than the other boys in his age group in almost all ways -- height, weight, muscle mass.

Although after being bitten, his body increased in mass in order to accommodate for the disease. While he did not grow in height, his body mass increased immensely. In order to keep himself in shape, he's had to take up daily work-outs. His neck is covered with a dark black bite mark from Aldo Encera's werewolf form. This scar completely covers the left side of his shoulder-blade, a clear sign that the wolf had no regard for him.

Due to his lycanthropy, his hair (which was already unkempt and uncontrollable) has only continued that. While he gets his hair cut rather often, his facial hair grows back by nightfall. Because of this, Solis has given up on a clean-shaven face and is constantly seen with some length of scruff on his face. His maroon hair is almost always messily combed through atop his head, although if anyone were to run their fingers through it, they'd be met with an array of knots.

Solis's left hand, his non-dominant hand, was replaced by a bronze prosthetic. It is a relatively simple prosthetic, although he fastens it with a gold lining. Other than a slight dark scar on his right wrist from Caelan Sullivan's attempt to biting him, he has no other visible scars.[/font]

[div align="justify"][font face="times new roman" color="#444444"]Solis is his father's son. While from an outside point of view, Solis acts like a child - quick to speak, but not to think. He's very volatile at times, and most of that he blames on his father's passing, leaving him with a lack of guidance that his mother cannot offer. And while that may be partially true, he has a very strong sense of empathy towards people - at least those that are close to him. He doesn't keep many close, as he fears losing more people that matter to him.

As a means of keeping people from getting too close to him, he has a sense of insensitivity to his actions. He tends to hurt other people's feelings, whether or not that is intentional is up for debate most of the time. While most of his actions comes from a good place, he has difficulty in execution.

Since being bitten, Solis's anger and insensitivity has only peaked. Although many of his family have been afflicted with Lycanthropy, Solis feels as though he does not "deserve" the curse, and that he cannot control how it affects him. A lot of that insecurity has come true in that Solis is even more explosive than he used to be; entering a state the he refers to as "seeing red", where he just gets irrationally angry. Although he is trying to walk on it, it's a crippling negative from his disease.

Solis's biggest personality fault is his inability to accept blame or fault in many of the things that have happened throughout his life. He is constantly looking for someone else to blame, as though to give reason for his behavior. While there are times that others are at fault, most of the time it is Solis creating his own problems; and then being unable to handle the outcomes.[/font]

Solis naturally feels as though he is a burden to his mother; as much as she may remind him that he's not. There are moments where he wishes he'd stayed with Olyvar, so that the problem would be his and not her's, but he knows that would've only worried her more. He worries about her in his own way, similar to how his brother Teddy worries for her, although he purposefully takes a step back in a way that Teddy doesn't. As much as he loves his mother, he knows that he is too much of his own mess to care for her.

[b]CASTOR BLACK[/b]: 
Solis is Castor's miniature, although Solis feels as though he's let his father down in many ways. He knows that his father would never make him feel that way; if he were alive today, but the thought is still constantly in Solis's mind. He worries that he is not making the choices his father would have, but in his own way, he hopes that he's shown him the man he is becoming today -- one that cares for his friends and family.

[b]DELTA BLACK[/b]: 
Solis's baby twin-sister, he'll never let her live down the fact that he's a couple of seconds older. He'd do anything to protect her; whether that meant risking his own reputation or life. He feels as though she would do the same for him, but he hopes to never put her in the position where she has to make that decision.

[b]DEIMOS "TEDDY ROSARIO" BLACK:[/b] 
Although Solis has always given Teddy a hard time; he truly sees him as a brother. He's proven to Solis that blood does not always mean family, just those that love you and vice versa. Similar to Delta, he would risk his life for his brother, and he knows that Teddy would do the same. He's happy that Teddy has taken the time to settle down with Averly, although he's unsure how long it's going to last.

[b]LEDA BLACK:[/b] 
Solis has made plenty of mistakes when it comes to his cousin, Leda, such as knocking her out in their first year - but he truly loves and adores her. She's grown into an independent woman that Solis can back up for anything she needs, although he figures that most of the time, she doesn't need it. He sees her in the same light that he sees his grandmother (and her mother), Florence, which is with respect.

[b]LEONA BLACK:[/b] 
Solis naturally got along with Leona more than Leda; as they were the more similar of the twins. He misses her, and wished that he could see more of her, although he's not in school with her anymore, so the chances are slim.

[b]FLORENCE SCOTT:
[/b]Solis was tasked with killing his grandmother, by her ex-husband and his uncle, Olyvar Frenlore. Of course, he didn't go through with it; there was a moment that he honestly debated doing it. He hates himself for it, and will constantly try and do everything he can to make up for it (in his own regard). He'll always have respect for his grandmother, no matter what she could do.

[b]BOLVAR FRENLORE:
[/b]Solis loves his uncle, incredibly so, and appreciates everything he's done for him. But he wishes that sometimes he'd sit back and allow Solis to make his own mistakes. He understands that there is an overwhelming sense of protection that must come with adulthood (especially being an uncle) because he feels it whenever he sees Teddy's son, but at the same time, he finds himself seeing his uncle as a hypocrite in certain situations.

[b]MARLEYA FRENLORE:
[/b]Someone that Solis feels no judgement from, at least outwardly. She's always been accepting of him, albeit that may be because he'd seen her with Olyvar, as well as within a dark-aligned bar. He hopes that she will play a bigger role in his life now that he's sought her out for tutelage, because one thing he craves is someone who will listen without passing judgement.

[b]OLYVAR FRENLORE:
[/b]Solis has an innate stubbornness to go against any order he's given, and when told to stay away from his "uncle", he couldn't help but stray against that. There was a natural curiosity that came about Olyvar, he was clearly seen as a black-sheep to his mother and uncle, although his "aunt" Marleya had kept him around. Solis was burning to find out what made him the way that he is, considering the family he came from - and if that same thing was born within Solis, or if it would begin to grow.

[b]AVERLY SILVERS:
[/b]Solis has learned to accept Averly as part of his family, seeing as there have been some moments that she helped him when the other's couldn't. There is a lack of trust on Solis's end, seeing as she went and told Teddy what he had asked of her, although he figures that was for the best. He'll protect her in the same way that he would protect Delta.

[b]ALYXIA OAKLEY:[/b] 
There's a deep feeling of regret when it comes to Alyxia Carrow, as he feels he wronged her in a way that a woman should not be wronged. He betrayed her trust, and not just with a random woman, with her cousin. He spends his days trying to make that up to her, although he feels as though their relationship has come to an end over what he's done. And it's something that he'll have to learn to accept.

[b]GAWAIN "GUY" DEVERILL: 
[/b]One of the only male friends that Solis has, other than his family. Guy is like a brother to Solis, and that's not just because he's dating his sister, Delta. Guy has always been one to defend Solis, even when he was blatantly wrong. There were times that Guy stood by his side when nobody else would, and Solis will always respect him for that.

[b]CAELAN SULLIVAN: 
[/b]Solis and Caelan's relationship started off as rocky, because whenever Teddy and Caelan were fighting, Solis took it upon himself to make digs at Caelan. He's learned to move past that, and give Caelan a real chance. Albeit, during his few couple of hours of being sired, Caelan made an attack on Solis -- he does not blame him for that. He hopes that Caelan finds the help he needs; as he can know how terrifying it is to not be in control of one's actions.

[b]JUNO GREENGRASS:
[/b]Juno betrayed Solis's trust when she went to Teddy and Averly while he was seeking out his uncle. There will always be a slight bitterness in the back of his mind, although with what Juno has gone through, he can't hate her. Similar to Caelan, he hopes that she finds the help that she needs -- because she is not someone that willingly harms people, she's proven that to Solis.

[b]MIDNA DOLOHOV:
[/b]Part of Solis blames Midna for what happened with him and Alyxia, although he knows that its not completely her own fault. In fact, he's not even sure if she can be blamed for any of it - considering he was the one committed to Alyxia and not her. He'd always had his eye on Midna, and when the opportunity presented itself, he wasn't able to deny her. He's unsure if that was because of her Veela genetics or not; but regardless, he still has a friendship with her.

[b]DOMINIC FLAMEL:
[/b]Dominic brings Solis's naturally submissive side out; and part of that enrages him. Although, he can't help but shake this feeling of guilt when he looks at Dominic -- and for that, he continues to keep himself around him. He puts on a hostile exterior in fear that if he were to get too close to Dominic, it would end up blowing up in his face. Dominic taught him the curse that he'd sought out his own family for, and for that, he will always be grateful. He was a lackluster student at best, and he blame most of that on his father's passing. Albeit, some of it was natural-born laziness, no professor would question him further if his father was brought up, and Solis knew that. For his first couple of years at Hogwarts, he used this fact to manipulate his professors into passing him in most of his classes.

Solis learned at an early age that life was not fair, and that only continued in his mind throughout Hogwarts. One of his earliest memories of this was within the library of the school during his third year -- when he was suspended for defending his family against the Head of Gryffindor. Solis knew from then, that he'd have to fend for himself within the walls of the school. After his suspension, his tactics to getting passable grades was not working as it used to. It wasn't until his grandmother, Florence Scott, became a deputy headmistress within the castle that this came to a halt.
