Hi, Kira! A sewing manhice is a great investment. The best advice I can give you is to purchase it from a real sewing manhice shop, not a big-box retail store. At a shop, they will let you test the manhices, knowledgeable staff will point out slight differences between models, and most stores offer free beginner's classes to acquaint you with your manhice. They also offer excellent repair service and support. You may end up paying slightly more, but it will be worth it, because you'll end up with a manhice you love (and know how to use)! Best of luck!
