Ryvn: We all run the dream as a whole, and when some of the staff members are sarcastic about stuff, it does hurt. We know some of the patrons are friends with staff...but it's no excuse to cover or be linient towards them. Liek when Holly and Siera and others are at the desk, we expect everyone to be E8. But most times, they act like we're 'hypocrtical' or 'hard asses' about it, and people end up bitching for no reason
Ryvn: getting attitudes, being rude, then all of this other &$!? goes down, and it's not fair.

Capell: I'm not sure that'll work, lol, since they never seem to get it in their heads either way. We're just warning we're not tolerating it anymore. But also, I wanted to wait til Jan got back cause this concerns him, but I know he'll read it anyway.

Capell: I think it also has to do with us all being rather on edge with the fact everytime one of us makes a comment when Holly, Brandon and Kait are at the desk, they have to have a smartass remark.
Ryvn: for me it was the fact I've had a rough few months, and my stress levels are so high things I normally tolerate become completely intolerable
Capell: And all I have to say to them is their staff friends need to start handling them better (not just you, ash) before I start banning every single one of them. I won't have any regrets doing it either. I've had enough of them stepping all over us like we're trash.
Rare: i dont see how you expect me to handle them.. they're my friends, not my children. i cant force them to stay away from the desk or be nice to everyone. they're all just like me, they're opinionated and sarcastic
Rare: and i know where your coming from kath, i do, i've been there and i understand that
Rare: i just don't see how something that i do all the time without notice is suddenly, today, being brought up
Capell: because Jan asked us to have a meeting because the comment this morning and the fact Brandon keeps denying who he is was the straw that broke the cammels back
Capell: and all staff agreed to when they signed up to be staff that if they had a problem friend, they'd say "my job is more important, you're causing an issue, please leave" or they'd lose their job.
Capell: just like if I caught my friends being morons at the desk, you better believe I'd tell them to either move to a house or get lost.
Ryvn: I only noticed it the once, but that may be because I've been so distracted from furcadia lately, and hte once I forgave. But for the friends thing...there is a difference between doing that around friends, in a non 'work' environment, than doing it around an area where they know they're going to be asked to stop
Capell: they're my friends, yes, and I love them, but I won't tolerate them disrespecting people who don't deserve it.

Capell: Exactly. This is our way of just saying help us out, or they'll be banned. Cause I'm sick of everytime we ban them, ther's a huge staff $!?%& fight and people quit.
