  1. registering domain with brandname to outrank others?
  2. I have a question. Let's say I am selling a product with the madeup brand name such as "carifizo" or something like that. Some brand name that I have invented essentially.
  3. ++++++++++++++
  4. list of top cheapest host http://FreeList.top
  5.
  6. Top 200 best traffic exchange sites http://FreeList.top
  7.
  8. free link exchange sites list http://FreeList.top
  9. list of top ptc sites
  10. list of top ptp sites
  11. FreeList.top
  12. FreeList.top
  13. +++++++++++++++
  14. If I register the domain names
  15. carifizo.com
  16. carifizo.net
  17. carifizo.org
  18. carifizo.info
  19. carifizo.xyz
  20. carifizo.store
  21. etc. and each one of those sites has a unique review about my brand
  22. and there is a huge page (lots of backlinks, high DA) does a review of my product and wants to rank it on google.
  23. Would google prefer my domains above since it has the brandname included in the actual domain over something like reviewsite.com/this-is-a-review-about-cerifizo which has 500k backlinks and a DA of 50?
  24. No one?
  25. Google does not put as much weight on the domain as it used to so it is possible, often not difficult, to outrank a site with the keyword/brand in the domain.
  26. But Google is also getting better at recognizing search intent so if Google determines the user is looking for the brand's website it will prefer that.
  27. In your example you used "review" as a keyword. It is easy to outrank brand websites for review searches. If a user is searching for a review, they are not looking for the brand's site. They are more likely looking for independent reviews.

  29. Review is NOT the keyword, the keyword is the made up brand name carifizo
  30. Yes, I did, did you?
  31. like reviewsite.com/this-is-a-review-about-cerifizo which has 500k backlinks and a DA of 50?
  32. Really, no need to be rude when someone is just trying to help you out.
  33. Yes, I did, did you?
  34. Really, no need to be rude when someone is just trying to help you out.
  35. Sorry, wasn't trying to be rude. That review site pops up automatically if someone googles the brand name. Just the brand name. And I want my brand name with a bunch of domains rank above it like stated in the first post
  36. carifizo.com
  37. carifizo.net
  38. carifizo.org
  39. carifizo.info
  40. carifizo.xyz
  41. carifizo.store
  42. if your branding domains are new or with almost no authority at all, it will not be enough to outrank that reviews site.
  43. and, branding don't come up cause you buy all those extensions, branding come up in time, with a lot of exposure online, on social media, on press release and so on.
  44. If they are searching for the naked brand name "carifizo" then the keyword/brand in the domain will get some weight.
  45. If they add keywords that indicate they are not looking for the brand itself it will get less weight. Like "carifizo review" or "carifizo complaints".
  46. But that is only one of many factors. If the brand site is getting out ranked by a strong site with naked searches (brand only) you need to strengthen the brand/website.
  47. Lots of good SEO guys can outrank "official" sites.
  48. if your branding domains are new or with almost no authority at all, it will not be enough to outrank that reviews site.

  50. gotcha. I have one site that is my main site with the brand name in it and it ranks above all other pages of course because it is the main site.
  51. But I haven't really tried registering a bunch of other domains with the branded name in the domain.
  52. How many backlinks and authority would it need to be ranked above all other (review and my brand related) sites?
  53. @RRunner - My brand site is not getting outranked by a review site. Which made me think what would happen if I register a bunch of other domains with my brand name in it

  58. So you want to take some other extension with same brand and rank with it under your main site, and above reviews sites?

  60. You got it! The thing is my brand name is made up. That means there is not a huge competition. Some of the review sites however do have a solid DA score and a lot of backlinks. Most people just google my brand name and see my site + every other site that is remotely related to that (reviews, etc.)
  61. I want to get my hands on all domains, brandname.com, .info, .xyz., .org etc. to have the first page full of my own sites. Obviously, each of the domains will have a differnet content, something like a blog reviewing my product

  64. Then go for it, and add on every extension different nice looking design and some strong long text review on each, then build some social signals to those and some good backlinks, go for quality over quantity, and when someone try to sell you some high DA backlink double check it cause all those shits can be manipulated easy. Since your main site perform good on serp, try to keep all legit, those new extensions too, not transform it in some link wheel or some tier 2 shit... you know what I mean!
  65.
  66. Google does consider the keywords in a domain name BUT a domain with strong backlinks will always outrank an exact match domain with weak or little to no backlinks. Just because it's an exact match does not mean it will be ranked at the top.

  68. That is a post I can definitely work with!
  69. But you think it could work right? Have you tried something like that?
  70. Because..I mean where is the difference for google between brandname.com and brandname.info ? My original page brandname.com is already on top so why wouldn't brandname.info be ranked on top as well?
  71. I wasn't planning on working on backlinks etc. since my .com domain is on top without ANY work at all..
  72. If I were to work with some social signals and backlinks - can you refer me to someone who can offer these?

  74. Well my original site is already on top for my brand name with no backlinks. How would google be able to differentiate which one is the actual domain to discriminate between being ranked on top and not? Do you know what I mean?
  75. someone googles "brandname"
  76. and the first result is "brandname.com" <- which is my site with the brand name
  77. the second result is some review site.
  78. Why would google make a difference if I create brandname.info and not rank it quite on top?

  83. brandname.info will help brandname.com to get more exposure, and is it possible to rank on same page on top 10 yes.
  84. I can't recommend you nothing cause I don't buy from here, but go and check marketplace, there are some good sellers!
  85. Hey Luca, I purchased a domain and filled it with a bit of content. Now waiting patiently for google to rank it. Do you know how long that can take?

  90. brandname.com is your main site right? already ranking, already with authority, already with the products and the main content. So brandname.info it will be a site with some kind of review for the main site, and if you will get some social signals for the brandname.info you will get much more exposure for the main site brandname.com.
  91. If you want to index fast, go and check your site with mobile test of google, it will be rended and crawled pretty fast.

  94. Oh I see what you are saying. Basically, you are right yeah. The only thing is that my main site doesn't have any backlinks and authority either but still ranks number one ;)
  95. Thanks, I just did the google mobile test thingy. Let's hope it gets ranked quickly.
  96. Still waiting for google to rank my domain..will let you know how things worked out. Should be a really interesting experiment
