  1. Unpopular Opinion Penguin here: I don't think LFR is the problem at all. I think LFR is a scapegoat--Blizzard convinced people to use it as a scapegoat to blame (and they facilitated this scapegoating by making it even easier than necessary in WoD, making it easier to carry AFKing players rather than balance it like Lei Shen and Garrosh where too many AFK players could wipe the raid). They started throwing LFR under the bus, and when players jumped on the opportunity to kick it while it was down, they turned around and used it as an excuse to get LAZY.

  3. That's why people left WoD--it's a lazy fucking expansion. It's inexcusably riddled with "Take the easy way out" mentality in terms of the casual endgame--I spend more time per play session on my level 100 clicking through menus than I do use my action bar, even in an easy, no-stress setting. Reps are fucking worthless and even Timbermaw Fucking Hold (hell, even goddamn RAVENHOLDT) is a more dynamic experience. You can do rep turnins for Timbermaw. All these store mounts since the Skyscreamer and the Fey Dragon SHOULD have been put on Draenor rep vendors. Instead we get lazy fuckin' recolors of the same six models recycled throughout all of Draenor's non-raid endgame. Rare drops a mount? Recolor. Stables mounts? Recolor. Reps? Recolor. The gold-sink mount of the expansion? Recolor, without vendors or extra seating. The other gold-sink mount from buying shitloads of heirlooms? Completely recycled--and your character sits in the sidecar.

  5. All this bullshit about how dungeons take as much time to make as a raid is just that--bullshit. In Vanilla, TBC, and Wrath, we got metric fucktons of both, as well as meaningful leveling content and meaningful world content at the endgame, with a smaller team working on an older engine, without the decade of experience they have now. It's just more laziness hidden behind scapegoating a difficulty that's been the whipping boy ever since Blizzard convinced raiders that it was to blame for the game's state rather than Blizzard's laziness and egotism.

  7. LFR isn't to blame for Blizzard's laziness, and the sooner people stop letting the devs scapegoat it because they don't value us as customers and a community any more, and start demanding more out of these developers who have gotten so comfortable and their egos SO inflated, the sooner we get content that's worth more than a pile of pig shit on a hot summer day.
