Walking dead animated series episode 2

Domenick leaves his room to see Adam sitting on the couch and looking at his dead friend.

Domenick: …Had a good night?

Adam: I didn’t sleep yesterday.

Domenick sits down with Adam

Adam: How did this happen?

Domenick: I….Don’t know. We got swarmed by…”Them’’ in the drugstore. He got bit trying to keep them away from me while I took the meds.

Adam: Bit? By one of the monsters?

Domenick: Yeah.

They keep silent.

Adam: We saw a guy get eaten by his own wife.

Domenick: …

Adam: After he got chewed, he came back as one of them.

Domenick: You think it’s the bite then?

Adam: There’s no way, that guy died he…He was bit in the neck.

Domenick: Dammit. I just wanted to know what the fuck is going on.

Adam looks at the window, he sees a lot of zombies.

Adam: What’s the plan? Just sit here and wait for the military?

Domenick: They’re not coming. We gotta move.

Adam: Move to where? We’re safe here.

Domenick: My parents won’t survive without their medicine. I can’t sit here and watch them die.

Adam: My dad used to run a Pharmacy, maybe if we got there, he could have some medicine.

Domenick: Well, how far is he and his Pharmacy?

Adam: Ohio.

Domenick: I don’t know kid… That’s like, what, 250 miles from here?

Adam: Well, what do you think?

Domenick: I think your plan is not much more than a trip to your daddy’s house.

Adam: How much medicine did you find? This place is picked clean.

Domenick: Even if I wanted to go to Ohio, you’re not in any condition to travel.

Adam: I can walk, and I’m going with or without you friend.

Domenick: Hahaha, you won’t make 3 miles out there.

Adam: >=(

Domenick: Look, I know you’re tough kid, but you want to cross the country on foot? That’s insane.

Adam: Fuck you.

Domenick: ?

Adam: You know what’s insane? Giving up on everyone you love, just because you don’t want to try. I’m willing to cross the goddamn world just to see my mom’s smile again. Do you get that? I’M NOT GIVING UP!!

Domenick starts thinking.

Domenick: Fine. We’ll go Adam: Huh?

Domenick: I’ve never met my father, sounds weird, but it’s true. When I look at my mother, I just keep thinking of all the things I’d do for her. She’s so old and weak, she’s the only thing I have left. I understand what you mean. I’m not staying here, but I can at least go with you until I find her a safer place.

Adam: Thanks…

Domenick looks at Mark’s body once more.

Adam: Let’s get out of here.

Adam, Domenick and his mother leave the apartment hoping to find a safe place.

Domenick: Are you sure you can move?

Adam: I told you, I’m fine.

Domenick: Listen, I know you said you’re going there on foot, but there’s gotta be a car around here we can use.

Adam: Where to?

Domenick: My neighbor used to work on a car shop, I think we can find something there.

Adam: What are we wating for?

Domenick: Waiting for you actually, you’re limping.

Adam: C’mon.

They walk to the Car shop, to find it overrun by walkers.

Domenick and Adam stop to form a plan.

Adam: What do we do?

Domenick: Clear this place out.

Adam: Can we even do that.

Domenick: That’s up to you. Did you have to kill one?

Adam: No. I’d like to keep it that way.

Domenick: You don’t have much choice.

Domenick hits one of them with his shotgun.

Domenick: This guys’s still moving, they’re tougher than you think.

Domenick hits him again, this time, killing the walker.

Domenick: Alright, follow me.

Domenick is surprised by one of the zombies and he shoot him in the head.

Domenick: Shit.

Domenick’s mother: Oh god.

Adam: Careful.

They see the zombies getting closer

Adam: Oh no.

Domenick: They’re coming!

Adam: It must’ve been the shot! C’mon!

They all run to a car and leave as fast as they can.

Domenick: Alright, rule number 1, NEVER shoot…

Adam: And if you do, do it in the head. Domenick: You’re a quick learner kid.

Adam: Thanks old man.

Domenick: Is that gonna stick?

Adam: Only if you want.

They keep driving for an hour…

Adam: Let’s stop here, I need to take a leak.

Domenick: It’s pretty dark, we should make a camp.

Domenick’s mother: I can help you.

A couple of minutes pass. It’s really dark and the characters are sitting close to the fire. Adam: Where do you want to sleep?

Domenick: I’m….Not sleeping in the ground.

Adam: Fair enough. But it’s not going to be really confortable in the car.

Domenick: Feel free to take the ground for yourself. Just ask for some space to the snakes.

Adam: There aren’t really snakes around here right? Domenick: Do you wanna find out?

Adam: I’m fine

Domenick’s mother: So, I’ve never introduced myself. My name’s Bianca. Adam: Well, it’s nice to meet you Miss Salvatoriello

Domenick: People usually can’t pronounce that on their first try.

They all go to sleep until Adam hears screams in the morning.

Adam: What the-?

Adam can hear Domenick and his mother talking in the background

Domenick: We don’t have any money. Keep it down or-.

Bandit 1#: Give me all you’ve got!

Domenick reluctantly throws him the bag.

Bandit 2#: The meds too!

Domenick: No! You got what you wanted now go.

Bandit 3#: Fuck you!

[Gunshot]

Domenick’s mother gets shot in the chest.

Domenick starts to tear up.

Adam stays in the car, scared.

Domenick falls on his knees and drops the meds.

Bandit 2#: Thanks fu-

[Gunshot]

The bandit gets shot in the head.

Adam can only hear a lot of gunshots and screams until he decides to look trough the car’s window again.

He sees a man with blond hair and a shaggy beard. With him, is a pretty Native-American woman that runs to help Domenick’s deceased mother.

Another man with a rifle comes out of the woods and heads to the car.

???: You can come out kid, we took care of those assholes.

Adam comes out of the car to see Domenick ‘’crying his eyes out’’.

???: The name’s John, those two are Vladmir and Helaku. You can thank us later for saving your Lives.

John looks at Domenick.

John: Hey…..Is he alright?

Adam sees Domenick holding his mother, he closes his eyes as he says: Fuck, Fuck!

Bianca starts turning into a zombie and the screen fades to black.
