  1. Teemo Guide
  2.
  3. So runes and masteries. Generally going 21/9/0. And runes, Magic Pen reds, Armor yellows, Flat Magic Resist blues (or scaling, depending on who you're against in lane), and AP quints.
  4.
  5. Going top – When you hit level 6 you should be placing a shroom in your river/surrounding jungle whenever one is up. When a shroom is not up, you should be pushing your lane like crazy to keep the enemy pinned at their turret (this prevents roam, and lets you place more shrooms in river). You should not just use your shrooms to farm. Putting them in river makes it so the enemy jungler will literally never gank you. No jungler wants to go through your shroom field. They'd rather focus on other lanes. When you can, try to work your way down to mid or the enemy jungle and place deeper and deeper shrooms. If purple side, put a shroom near the enemy blue. Pay attention to the enemy jungler, and very often, you'll be able to steal their blue buff when it comes up, which of course happens with Teemo's very apparent post-6 mana issues (because shrooms cost a lot). Remember to always keep your lane pushed for this reason.
  6.
  7. Don't try to roam to get kills unless one is easily presentable. Teemo “ganks” suck. His power definitely lies in the pressure he creates in the top side of the map, and later, the whole map. Again, I cannot stress enough how important it is to place a shroom literally whenever you can. They last for 10 minutes at a time, and because of vision changes, they're a lot harder to get rid of. Also, if you do decide to roam deep or leave lane for an extended period of time, place a few shrooms in lane along the minion path. This way your enemy laner won't be able to push turret, even while you're not there.
  8.
  9. Teemo is a lower-elo solo queue menace. His counters include people with gap closers -- people he can't kite or shroom in front of quickly. So champions like Elise or Darius can crush him. With that said, if it's a jungler Elise you generally want to let the enemy push on you until you hit level 6/return from your first back. If you do find yourself out of position and they come in for a gank, don't be afraid to flash out of the way. Pre-level 6 you are very open for ganks, and being the Teemo that you are, you can't really do a whole lot about it.
  10.
  11. Mana issues. His shrooms take up a lot of mana, so on your first back (not prior as you will likely only be hitting six on your first back, or just over) pick up some mana pots. Don't worry about mana regen items as they're generally not very important on him otherwise. Teemo is not someone who spams abilities in team fights, he works a lot like an ADC.
  12.
  13. Speaking of team fights, you might think Teemo is pretty useless when it comes to them. This is entirely false. Unless you are caught out of position and the team fight is unexpected, Teemo is pretty good at team fights. Basically, what you want to do, is you shroom all up and around the team fight area. Put shrooms in possible “escape” routes, or areas where the enemy might try to juke. Put them all around where you believe the fight might happen. Your team will work with this too. They'll try to bait enemies into fighting over shroomed areas. Next, when the fight actually happens, you will find you rip right through the enemy with your poison darts. I find focusing anyone but the top laner is usually beneficial as normally the top laner has build a ton of MR when the rest of their team (having left you alone all game) has not.
  14.
  15. Teemo can lose lane but win lane quick easily so long as your other lanes have done alright. Even if you are going against a Darius or Elise (which, if this is soloq you shouldn't if possible, but whatever) and they get totally fed off of you, DO NOT STOP SHROOMING. Always shroom. Your core items should be Rabaddons, Liandry's and Nashor's. Nashor's for the team fight. After that I like to pick up a void staff and a guardian angel. Oh and of course mpen boots.
  16.
  17. Now, how to counter a Teemo. If you know you're going against a Teemo in lane, GET A SWEEPER. It'd be stupid not to. Also, buy wards. Even if you are pushed in, try to sneak a ward in the river. Pay attention to where your Teemo shrooms, and when you can, remove them immediately. Once Teemo gets rolling in the shroom game it's hard to manage them. So it's important to manage them as soon as they start happening. With that said, also play safe. Farm with whatever ranged abilities you might have. Of course that is unless you're playing someone like Darius or someone with a gap closer. Then you should be able to easily all-in and kill Teemo. But for example, one time I was playing a Malphite. All I could do was farm under tower. But I made sure to keep a ward in river and whenever I saw Teemo leave lane to shroom, I promptly went down myself and sweeped it away. This lets your jungler (if they do choose to come up) have a much easier day.

  19. Anyways, this is a Teemo guide I sort of just figured out and made now.
  20.
  21. If you choose to jungle as Teemo, a hilarious but inherently troll choice, again, don't farm with your shrooms – it's a waste! Jungle Teemo is global shroom pressure. Although he has slow clear times (until he gets going) counter jungling is a hell of a lot of fun. Be the asshole Teemo you chose to be when you picked him in champ select. Post-6, shroom the enemy buffs. When you see it pop, rush there and stealth. Wait until it's almost cleared and smite steal it away. Or better yet, kill the enemy jungler. I find this works best at red because they often don't have that extra champion there (where they'd 50% of the time give the second blue buff to their midlaner). All in all I wouldn't recommend this for soloq, especially since most junglers in this meta have gap closers and can definitely just kill you in the jungle, so it's pretty risky. But it's still pretty fun.
  22.
  23. Basically the same sort of build. I usually start Doran's Ring regardless. Yeah your clear time is shit but it gives you the extra damage.
  24.
  25. Ganks? Ok well as I said earlier Teemo ganks generally suck, but you can be a troll about it. It just requires patience. Sort of like a lane gank. Wait until your top laner is pushed, stealth in the middle of lane, wait until enemy pushes, and then have your way with them. This is especially hilarious if the enemy jungler decides to gank. You easily just turn on them.
  26.
  27. Midlane ganks for Teemo generally just always suck because it's such a short lane, you have no time to stealth when you're out of vision. Plus if midlane is pushed, your midlaner should be out of lane roaming anyways. Or, you know, pushing.
  28.
  29. Shrooming your laner's bushes is always nice too. Especially if you can do it stealthily. It picks you up easy assists for when they do decide to fight. But generally, when it comes to shrooms, I prioritize jungle entrances, buffs, and objectives.
