  1. I know you don't need external motivation, you are far beyond driven. But often times I do, so I just wanted to let you know that learning of, finding, and observing you, as the persona you portray, has changed my life.

  3. When I first started following you, my life was in a lull. I was 29-30ish, a full-time worker, husband, and father thinking my life was what it was. It was good, don't get me wrong, and I was thankful for my wife and beautiful child, but I just felt I was meant for something more than what I was doing. I never went to college after high school because I got on drugs and made a lot of terrible decisions that will haunt me forever no doubt. I have regretted it for a long time because I really had potential. I was very intelligent, athletic, and good with people, really a jack of all trades.

  5. When I found out about th3j35t3r is about the same time I cleaned up my act. I was still having trouble making it through the nights without wanting to use, and I swear I wish I had a penny for all the times I found encouragement in your posts and tweets. You had no way of knowing, but your character and integrity were influencing and affecting my life. I could see the type of person I wanted to be, and knowing is half the battle with me.

  7. So, for the past few years I have based my decision making on a "what would J do" model. It has served me well. As you may or may not be aware of, I indeed started college last spring. I go to <REDACTED> University here in <REDACTED>. I am majoring in mechanical engineering, and most of my classes are on Ft. <REDACTED> because that's where <REDACTED> engineering dept. is. As of right now I have 40 hrs completed, but that will be 60 at the end of this semester. I am proud to say I have a 4.0 GPA. And that, my friend, is where I genuinely feel you have contributed so much! I may have gone back to school on my own, but seeing how a winner does things and acts has brought my self-awareness to whole new plateau. I spend countless hours, right here at this desk, doing homework, studying, and prioritizing my academic endeavors. You have taught me to pay the cost, do whatever it takes, kick, punch, grab, claw, dig, or crawl to get where I want to be and even further.

  9. I'm sure I'm just one of the many that tell you this type of thing, but I assure you no one else is more sincere when I say, thanks for being you man. I mean it, and I hope that you take solace in the fact that, no matter what happens in the future, you have played a large part in bettering me as a person.

  11. I won't take any more of your time, I know you’re busy. Hope all is well with you irl.

  13. Your supporter 'til it’s over,
  14. <REDACTED>
