- error informing the kernel about modifications to partition /dev/sdc1 --Device or resource busy. This means Linux won't know about any changes you made to /dev/sdc1 until you reboot -- so you shouldn't mount it or us it in any way before rebooting.
- once I ignore it, I get the second error :
- Partition(s) 3 on /dev/sdc have been written, but we have been unable to inform the kernel of the change, probably because it/they are in use. As a result, the old partition(s) will remain in use. You should reboot now before making further changes.
- once I ignore it. I get another third error which is :
- The ext4 file system creation in partition #1 of SCSI2 (0,0,0) (sdc) failed.
- then it takes me back to the Installation Type page again.
