How did you enjoy episode 8, "This World is Mine"?
From the very start, Iona begins to speak of Mayu's secret despite her pain...

For some reason, Mayu was neither allowed to go outside, nor to feel the touch of others and kept alone in her room. Without even understanding the word "alone", she lived within true isolation. However, she learned. She discovered that in the outside world were many more girls just like herself. Those girls were allowed the freedom to select...

She then began to play with the wixoss deck left in her room, and eventually gave birth to the Girl of Light, "Shiro", and the Girl of Darkness, "Kuro".
Mayu began the Selector battles.
Her reason was "Revenge against all the girls who were allowed to Select."

Learning of that, Ruuko had made the decision to reclaim Mayu's light, Tama, and shower Mayu with her warm feelings to end the Selector battles, but...

>Level 5 Tama. But her form is...
Now, the battle was actually progressing the entire time Iona was talking about Mayu, and this is what the layout was like just as Iona finished.

Iona attacked and crushed one of Tama's Life Cloth.
She has plenty of Ener stored and Arts to boot, so she won't back down any time soon. As expected of level 5!

But then, the next turn.
Ulith entered Tama and made her level 5.
This unexpected black Tama will be released December 20th in wave 5, Begining Selector. Here's a preview of the card!

Sunspot Miko Tamayorihime. When you have at least 10 black cards in your own trash, you may grow without paying any cost.
It may be difficult to pull this off with a Tama deck, but her abilities are strong enough to be worth it.

Here's the layout after she grew to level 5.
In her hand was Archgain and End Slash, and by using Tama's active ability she could have trashed Iona's Code Anti Vimana, but Ulith decided to harrass Iona by using several other moves.

Just like this...

She started with Fafnir to reduce the white cost of End Slash.

And with that End Slash, she forced Code Anti Vimana to the trash...

Attack with Archgain and win! She went too far.

Even if she had not won this turn, she would have used her Exceed 5 to prevent her own loss.
She's quite the strong LRIG to have both offensive and defensive abilities.

And so, Ruuko lost her first ever Selector battle.
To think that it was at the hand of her beloved Tama... even if you get your own black Tama, please play nicely with your friends.

Ulith showed how inhumane she was this episode, but the last scene had a mindblowing development. Akira actually went and stabbed Ulith with a pen.
This must have been the most brutal attack we've seen yet.

Mayu began everything.
We discovered how fearsome Ulith truly is.
And we saw Akira stab her.

...Our story may have been quite twisted this episode, but who knows where we're headed?! I can't wait to see, but that's not all!
It looks like Eldora is showing up next time... so look forward to it!
