Okay so here are my thoughts on your matches. Please remember that i love what you are doing but there are some things that needs to be changed IN MY OPINION.

So first of all people are obviously grinding atm so you need something that can attract them out of the grind.

So here are stuff that i feel needs to be changed. Stop playing on maps that are broken/not finished. People dont want to play on them untill they get 100% fixed.
It's fine to play a game or two here and there but not all the time. When doing LMS do it the way LMS was meant to be played (without tames). Remove the weird stuff
like Allos, Direbears and poop monkeys. Try to make it a vanilla tournament coz that way people can practice for SL without losing points and against good players.
I've been thinking since you have so few 2's and 4's games maybe make it a "rare" event but have a price for the 1st place tribe or something. But then keep the score system
for FFA games. Maybe have the 2's and 4's tourney in the weekends and FFA's during the week. That way people can win something in the tourney if they do good and get 1st place.
I'm not saying a big price but maybe they get to choose a certain tier of game. And then people can sort of "grind" points in FFA for the big prizes. That also helps in
letting you guys get a "bank" of games to offer and later on you'll be able to maybe give "special" prizes for certain events. But defo get rid of the weird stuff.
Go back to vanilla type games. Playing on "broken" maps + all the stuff that happens through chat makes the game devastating. Bring the maps back when they work is what im saying
i guess coz on the island map you can deal with carno drop dropping on your base rekking your whole setup coz resources are nearby. That last game we had today on the ring
i legit almost forfeited when the sarcos dropped right on our base and destroyed most of our base coz there's no way im running all the way back to get the resources needed
to craft that whole base again. We did decide to just go hunt but all 3 of us almost quit there. On the island map that it's still doable coz there is tons of resources nearby.
Now i know its a work in progress but if the map doesnt work you shouldn't be hosting "tournaments" on it. Again this is just my opinion on the matter and im sure there is
stuff i missed/forgot but i hope this will help you figure out how to get more people in. Also we/you need to try and figure out a way to advertise these matches beforehand.
I'm thinking maybe make a "deal" with admins on the ygd ts to send out msg's in global chat around 30 mins before start or closer to it maybe? I feel pretty confident that
i could pull it off if i ask nicely ;)
