Emphet is dog themed, his lusus is a largish half-wolf dog monster with huge fangs and a playful nature. He lives in a cave that's been deepened and divided into several rooms around a large central living space with a large centralized bonfire and a curving tunnel in the ceiling to accomodate smoke. He wears a collar and is friendly and accomodating almost to the point of awkwardness, with a constant smile that almost seems forced. He gets very strange when he begins to get hungry, getting desperate to eat something before he gets too ravenous.. when he reaches a certain point of hunger, his parasitic psychic tapeworm takes over his mind and makes him immediately attack the nearest source of nourishment, be it food item, animal, or even fellow troll. Once he got his leg caught in one of his bear traps and got so hungry he ended up chewing his own leg off. now he has a robot leg lmao

Paragon Biodynamics is a corporation that is constantly the background of the plot. Most, if not all, characters are tied to it in some way. This corporation is being manipulated behind the scenes by The Handmaid, and by extension, Doc Scratch. It is the employer of Yellow, and has its hands in just about everything. However, despite nearly everything under the sway of The Handmaid, Paragon Dynamics has "secretly" hired yellow to develop weapons that abuse the inherent psychic abilities of certain trolls, with the hope of retaliating against The Handmaid. Naturally, Doc knows this, but allows it to happen for the time being as it makes them easier to manipulate.

Lime is this weapon. The end-game goal is for him to rival The Handmaid in power, although futile as it is. This power will kill him when he uses it against her. Yellow knows this and hides this from him.

On top of developing different ways to improve Lime, Yellow has toyed with many other ideas. Psychic parasites, which can bestow the symbiote terrible power at a high cost. Usually unstable. She also has a day job where she helps develop new medicines and painkillers. To supplement her income, she has sold these to trolls in the past in secret.
