1. Brilliant post, I deem thee King of MyIGN!
2.
3. I won't get into the videogame examples so much as I disagree about intention and seriousness that I've seen. However, just to counter this point a bit:
4.
5. "If I were to say you're an idiot right now for instance, it would be because I think that you're smart, but you've said something downright stupid, or that you've done yourself an intellectual disservice by not considering things that I think you should have obviously done."
6.
7. That's not really a hyperliteral definition of idiot, but sometimes I feel like people are prone to exaggeration, myself included. I feel like when I rant I do this especially. And you could apply that colloquial definition to religion as well. I believe there was something related to Religulous by Bill Maher that went like: "You believe in God? Idiot." Admittedly he's a comedian, but there's a point where we are almost inundated by hyperbole. It's all too easy to just go with the flow and label people as idiots for any minor flaw. I felt like clarifying that with this blog a bit. It's unfair to claim all religious people are dim-witted, but it's no more unfair than claiming all people who didn't like GTAV are dim-witted. Almost no one would care if you hyperbolically asserted the latter. I think there's a correlation between how defensive people are of something and how accepting they are of hyperbole. Religion doesn't seem to be one of the very accepted ones.

9. "but don't you think it'd be better just to correct them? Then it's potentially one less person who annoys you (possibly more than they should)."
10.
11. Hey I tried many times! Doesn't seem to work that much though :D
12.
13. "Without knowing what mental state any given individual who dared to use it's instead of its, it's just sort of a silly thing to equate to ignorance or stupidity with such immediacy."
14.
15. I'm very careful about that. Occasional errors don't mean ignorance, and I actually point out the errors sometimes. Most people seem to have some sort of mental blind-spot, where they can miss obvious things - myself included! It would be ignorant of me to judge those types of people as being super ignorant or something because of that.
16.
17. "The point was more to say, that I'd wager more often than not regardless of your state of hurry or whatever else, you can make a mistake as everybody is capable of it."
18.
19. Yes, and as stated here: "I wasn't condemning speed-related errors in the blog, and there's a big difference between not knowing, for example, the difference between your and you're under any circumstances, and missing errors"
20.
21. "Anyway. I still don't think you're an idiot, but I do think your absolute perspective is scary seems stupid to me right now. ;)"
22.
23. Little error there haha. Most of us make mistakes from time to time :D I don't think I advocate much of an absolute perspective in this blog at least!
