  1. Okay. So you download the minecraft_server.exe. Before you set anything up you need to go:

  3. Start Menu
  4. Control Panel
  5. Java
  6.  
  7. Now click on the Java tab and click the view button. You should get a table with version, runtime, parameters ect...
  8.  
  9. Now double click parameters and type in '-Xmx1024m -Xms1024m' (without the '', including the spaces and minus sign) and click Okay, then Apply. Now run your server, get your IP address and give it out and you SHOULD be okay.
