I am Quavo also known as Relox; I have been in the marketplace since 3.0 but been in the exploit section since 2.0. I am currently trying to contribute to the community as a middleman; I sometimes help new users in the marketplace by explaining how it works and how things run. I wouldn't say I deserved to be picked because there are far more reputable members than myself in the marketplace community. I have a clean background, no scam reports and a semi-decent reputation. I am in college and unemployed so I have a bunch of time on my hands so I am active for at least 8 hours a day.
I am also trusted by a few other reputable members of the community (Sound, HUF and Future). I started v3rm with only $20, and then started buying and selling. The first item I ever bought off the marketplace section was a valk, for $20 and I ended up selling it for $25 the same day. Then I continued the process. My main drive was to finally have enough money to get an exploit I ended up doing so and also started a reputable shop in the marketplace section.
I have made only $1000 from v3rm I think it’s pretty good since I was only 16 years of age. I graduated from high school at the age of 16. I now attend Texas Tech University and most of my classes are online so I am basically in my apartment all day. I don’t go to bed early so I end up staying online for whoever might need a MM. I have been extremely active recently; I actually ended up stopping a huge argument in the community yesterday, between King Caleb and Cord.
My main goal is to take over from what my friend started (HUF), a scam free Market place section, he hasn’t been active because he lost access to his account. I once had a scammer database but could not keep up with the updates at that time because I had AP exams; I am determined to help people that are new to avoid being scammed. Most of the people I trusted ended up exit scamming so v3rm has me a little bit sketched out. I personally believe Dex might exit scam.
Another issue in the marketplace is rep bullying, others tend to feel egotistical because they have a higher rep than others and try to shut them down. But really I feel like it just takes one brave person to start a train of brave people. If people would stand up to rep 4 rep groups it would stop less scamming. The Royalty system was quite beneficial in 3.0 until it became corrupt; I believe this system should be given a second try.
I have never had any thoughts or intention of scamming because I don’t understand why people would try to steal someone’s hard earned money or property. If this does become a usergroup I believe they should have the rights to assign labels to point out scammers.
