I won't be awake until later in the evening so I'm leaving this information with you to talk with Kaffe or whatever (nevermind I'm sending this to him, too).

I discussed with Jager and crew in TS about our concerns regarding losing territory, our relationship with Clan Wolf, specifically what we're planning/doing about Butte Hold (making sure we defend it) and Icar (preferring to not attack for now), and that you'll be talking to Verci after the ceasefire about the future.

SJR's primary goal right now is to get to FRR so that CJF has two IS planets they can attack per day and that means going through Wolf's territory. SJR plans to continue attacking Icar (the pubbies of CJF are doing that already anyway) and defending Butte Hold with us. Jager suggested you bring that up with Verci to see if they'll let us "route" our way through their territory via Icar to FRR while their southern "island" force continues further toward Terra. Maybe we even let them take the "bridge" planets back from us once we're across. However, I pointed out that we don't know how planet takeovers would progress from Icar. After taking Icar the game might force us farther up or down into Wolf territory instead of across to FRR.

Therefore Jager suggested that, instead of the proposal, we could ally with CGB to attack Clan Wolf from both sides and just wipe them off the map. He thinks we'd be able to pull it off considering what happened to Clan Wolf today (losing Ferris to CGB and making no progress on IS fronts because they poured all their resources into defending Icar).

In any case, SJR is pushing to FRR so we can play two IS fronts per day and they seem to be committed to realizing that.

My recommendation:
If I understand Kaffe's ambitions, our goal is to get [Lord] on as many (IS) planets as possible as quickly as possible. Therefore we could ask Clan Wolf permission to push across them and start a new FRR front between them and CGB. In exchange we immediately give them back Butte Hold uncontested and, once established, any other territories we took to start the new front. We will also help them defend territories and push CGB back. Then we can expand into IS at double our current rate while hopefully not having to fight Clan Wolf on our borders anymore (or as much, gotta remember the pubbies).
We could repeat this immediately when CW Beta ends and the map gets reset.

...If they demand extra concessions like extra planets we own I personally would be fine with that. I'd rather just wreck the IS and do it faster than the other clans. Of course instead we could just team up with CGB and try to push Clan Wolf all the way back to their homeworld and effectively remove them from the IS invasion until PGI resets the map. If successful the drama and butthurt would be spectacular and would at least give us that 2nd front (and eventually 3rd once we reach FRR) for much challenge.
