Flameson Hammersmith grunted another cloud of ash and flicked the cigar over the edge of the railing
Gwannes Oskwell: I got it, Don.
Blake Forester picks the placard out from the sand. "I...am going to return this...."
Donohebo Honohebo snerks faintly
Kuroko Koumori: "Glad to see someone I know make it to this match at least. What did you think?"
Flameson Hammersmith adjusted his gauntlets again, grumbling, knocking his feet into the sand to adjust his footing
Lucretia Solstrum: "Well...it was interesting to say the least. A little bit one sided, however."
★Edda Vincents: You're up, Pepe.
Donohebo Honohebo approaches Hammer, waving his staff as he does so to collect aetherical energies. He raises it, points it at Hammer, and begins to mutter.
Flameson Hammersmith is about two ticks from booting Dono.  That much is clear.
Donohebo Honohebo steps back to a safer distance.
Lucretia Solstrum gently pats Kuroko Koumori.

Pepe Bandido hands his staff over to Gwannes for inspection.

Flameson Hammersmith held a hand up with an unlit cigar to Blake in a salute before chomping it into his maw and sparking a match off his eyepatch to suckle at
Donohebo Honohebo turns to Gwannes, frowning. He whispers to him.
Pepe Bandido pulls off his gloves and hands them over too. Tough leather over rubber, with silver studs on the knuckles and backhand, and a metal ring set in the palm.
Flameson Hammersmith eyed the gloves.
Gwannes Oskwell looks over the gloves as well, then hands each back.
Flameson Hammersmith eyed Pepe
Gwannes Oskwell whispers back.
Kuroko Koumori: "It was certianly different from what I was used to, perhaps if he had a proper weapon, things may of been different."
Gwannes Oskwell: Fighters! Ready yourselves!
Fiona Cooper wanders up looking ready to patch people up, leaning on the edge f the wall.
Donohebo Honohebo eyes Hammer warily. "Physically he's... well, if not exactly fine, good enough and under control. Mentally?
Gwannes Oskwell: Pepe, ready?
Pepe Bandido nods.
Flameson Hammersmith tapped a foot into the sand.  Took a few steps back.
Donohebo Honohebo quickly scans pepe. "Looks good."
Edda Vincents raises her staff to the sky, shooting up a series of firebolts which explode in yellow bursts both bright and vivid.
Gwannes Oskwell: Hammer, ready?
Flameson Hammersmith nodded, taking a hard pull off his cigar
Emvi'zi Lavint jumps as Edda suddenly performs magic to his left, frowning briefly before forcing his blank expression again.
Blake Forester eats an apple he probably didn't bring with him as he watches.
Gwannes Oskwell: Alright...

Donohebo Honohebo frowns a litte. "There's something about Pepe.... Magick is forbidden in this fight, is it not?"
Gwannes Oskwell: It's not.
Donohebo Honohebo: "Oh! Well, okay... I think.."
Pepe Bandido palms something in one of his gloves, giving Hammer a shit eating grin all the while.
Donohebo Honohebo stands well back.
Flameson Hammersmith took a HARD pull off his flask before his entire lower body DUG into the sand.  Looks like he'd found a Rock to brace as a starting block and set his weight against.  Seeing that much meat gain so much moment in such a shifting surface was shocking, but not nearly as the giant trying to get his giant mitts around that Stick.    If he got a hold of hit it was clear he aimed to drive his head -through- the timber, like a rock through a tree branch.

Blake Forester: "Oi its you again."

Blake Forester had not thought this conversation through beyond that statement. His nose flares up a bit as he tries to think of something else to say. "...your hat isn't wet anymore."

Seiko Mamushi wheezes "Aah! E-edda! What did I miss?"

Blake Forester: "Yeah."
Pepe Bandido pulls the stick back, holding it in his left hand, shifting underneath and INTO the giant charge. Pepe unleashes a wild blow at the huge man's core, something unseen gripped in his fist.
Random! Pepe Bandido rolls a 894.
Sebastian Taylor: Just in time, Seiko.
Takao Sekkyo: "Congratulations on the uh, win."

Blake Forester frowns, "Oh, right that. Yeah thanks. It was a rematch I was just glad to fight the WITNESS ME bastard again."

Blake Forester grins tauntingly at Takao Sekkyo.

Pepe Bandido :: The wild blow connects, crushing the lightning sprite core Pepe had palmed earlier. A peal of thunder blasts the arena, accompanied by a blinding white flash as lightning aspected aether courses into the metal ring set into his cloves, traveling through metal wires set underneath the leather and blasting out of the silver studs, straight into Hammer's gut.
Gwannes Oskwell shields his eyes. "Shite!"

Airka Lakshmi: " is that some kind of magic!?"
Kiera Hawkeye: "Hopefully not."
Fiona Cooper holds her arm up in front of her eyes.  "Gah..."

Donohebo Honohebo jumps back with a sharp cry of dismay, automatically raising his wand just in case.
Edda Vincents cackles excitedly, observing Pepe's trick.
Takao Sekkyo cracks a faint smile, "Good. I've watched one other. I'll try to be at the next."
Lucaell Tareth'eian sounds genuinely excited.
Flameson Hammersmith 's entire body convusled and tightened as the Surge from the Stick Struck through his massive form.  There was a frying smell and several arcs of electricty between the brass ornimentation on the giant's pants to boot.  Tassels caught fire, parts of his hair let up smoke.  But worse?  It forced Hammer to expell all the breath he'd been holding.  And with it came the entire mouthful of jet-fuel grade alchohol he'd been storing, silently, since before the charge, a mist of burning, stinging-

Blake Forester nods to Takao Sekkyo.
Senju Hashirama bursts out laughing.
Kiera Hawkeye: "Aye, he knows how to use that spear, that's for sure. The lightning sure was a surprise."
Takao Sekkyo glances over at the fight, "Going to watch these two thrash eachother."
Blake Forester grunts. "In the meantime I thought perhaps we -" He then huffs, "Yeah okay."
Flameson Hammersmith liquid between the pair.  Hammer's grip on the stick loosened, for a moment.  The giant stepped back, and SLAMMED his fists together.  The two rings on his fingers exploded into a torrent of sparks.  Let's see if Pepe is Flammable, this dance said.

Donohebo Honohebo frowns. "Sir Oskwell, is all this... legal?"
Kaguya Nightsong blinked as she quirked a brow. This thing was still going on? Her gaze shifted bout as if looking for a certain someone before it landed on the actual fighters. A grin curled upon her lips as she soon leaned over the stone wall and yelled at the top of her lungs. "KICK HIS ASS, MISTER HAMMERSMITH!"
Blake Forester: "SHARKTOOTH THROW HIM INTO THE OCEAN!"

Flameson Hammersmith crouched and shielded his face as the entire cloud of Scumble ignited.  The booze had been in close quarters, which meant an flashbang of explosive loathing erupted in a fireball with Pepe as the ground Zero
Virella Douront looked down at Flower as she crossed her arms underneath her chest, asking "So why are people beating eachother senseless? Any idea?"
▲Lucaell Tareth'eian: "I never thought I'd get to watch such a thing in the Mist."
Kaguya Nightsong blinked and shifted her attention to Vi. "A tournament of their company if I recall. It has been going on for several days."
Ismaya Northbrook: "Hi."
Kiera Hawkeye: "Wish that damn catboy hadn't been so fast. Could've been down there."
Pepe Bandido is blasted backwards, off balance from the thunderous attack from earlier. He lands flat on his back, scorched from the blast wave.
Donohebo Honohebo: "No fatal injuries, please! Respect the rules and your healer! Especially your healer!"
Taka Swiftstep blinks.
Ismaya Northbrook: "Do you have a stomach ache? You haven't been drinking the sea-water, have you?"
Ismaya Northbrook: "I did that once."

Blake Forester looks at Ismaya Northbrook in shock!

Edda Vincents winces, a worried look on her face.

Fiona Cooper quirks a brow.  "Why- ... why is there fire.  Can... they not do that?  That seems like something they shouldn't do."
Donohebo Honohebo sends a quick diagnostic scan towards Pepe, ready to heal if life was threatened.
Ismaya Northbrook: "Oh yeah, the volcano is fighting."
Flameson Hammersmith 's one eye turned to Dono, the giant's face contorted into a mix of pain, fury, and ENJOYMENT
Virella Douront lifted her right hand up to her neck, scratching idly at it as she looked down below to the combatants "Suppose they have their uses. Back in Ishgard we have a festival were very much the same happens."

Donohebo Honohebo frowns. He hadn't said anything at all.
Pepe Bandido struggles to his feet, barely maintaining the presence of mind to palm another sprite core before he stumbles forward with a swing from Hammer's blindside, obviously still punch drunk from the massive blast, bits of flame clinging to his jacket.

Kaguya Nightsong rolled her shoulder in a soft shrug before shifting her gaze back down to Hammersmith being well; himself. "I actually had suggested we do the same. With so much fighting and headbutting within our own employment I thought it would be a good stress reliever."

Flameson Hammersmith hadn't moved into time.  Maybe he shouldn't have been looking at Dono.  Maybe.  His face was a solid connect for the gauntlets and fists in them and the gripping of the giant's hands into the sand was a sign of pain...? No.  No it wasn't.  What was that under the sand in his grip....?
Virella Douront: "Suggest it to Domri, and it may happen. Sadly enough I would have to sit out regardless of my state. Magic is a bit more fatal than trying to punch one another. Unless you are a monk of sorts, but they still use aether in the end, do they not? I never really payed much attention to Domri, or Brianna at the time, when they spoke about it. If they even did."

Flameson Hammersmith Oh.  Shit.  That thing Hammer was gripping in the stand was....The Stick and Rock.  He'd...buried...it...here.  The giant's entire body moved with the impact of the stick bitchslap, and the earth erupted as the Stick and Rock whirled out of the earth in a sycthing, keening arc for Pepe.

Virella Douront: "Domri never was one for friendly dueling himself. Seen him decline mostly of the time. In truth, I only have seen him accept once, and that because it was Caellene. No one could say no to that odd looking hyur, or whatever she is." and then perked a brow, flicking her attention back to Flower "You do?"

Blake Forester: "Wait he had that in the sand this whole time? I could've used that. DAMN IT!"

Kaguya Nightsong gave a small nod. "Aye, I do." she spoke before looking back out at the fighting. "So when you wish to speak with me just let me know."  she sighed as she watched Hammersmith.

Ismaya Northbrook hops up on the wall, punching the air and cheering, "Come on, Mister Volcano! Crush him like a marmot under your boots!"
Edda Vincents turns to Seiko, mumbling "He's got this one, I can feel it."
Kuroko Koumori: "If he's using a weapon that wasn't checked by the officials, then that is surely a violation. If they don't call off the match now, I can only assume it was cleared with them beforehand, though perhaps the healer was not informed."

Pepe Bandido ::Not even wanting to attempt to go head to head with Hammer's massive hammer, Pepe crouches low, dropping his stick and barely ducking the blow. When he reaches the sand, he launches himself back up for another blow with the thunder gloves, this time an uppercut aimed straight at Hammer's jaw.

Fiona Cooper taps her cactar earring and mumbles.
Kaguya Nightsong gave a nod and turned. "Let us head to the home. I would rather us be in a more private area then in the open." she spoke as she moved.

Pepe Bandido :: If possible, the blast is even more deafening this time, the flash even more blinding. Pepe is blasted backwards as lightning sparks from the studs.
Flameson Hammersmith 's entire BODY crackles with that hit  The grip on the Stick and rock tightens as the rock slips over the giantr's shoulder and into the sand, leaving Hammer as a kind of arcing, electric filled horror that was one with the beach.  Smoke curled out of his mouth...but he was smiling.
Sebastian Taylor: You got this, Pepe!
Kiera Hawkeye stats grinning widely. "Twelve above, I wish I was down there now. Helluva fight."
Gwannes Oskwell holds both of his arms in front of his face, barely keeping his feet on the ground after that impact.
Donohebo Honohebo dashes forward, pointing his wand at Hammer.
Blake Forester: "HEAL HIM DONNY!"
Blake Forester: "MAKE IT SOOTHING!"

Edda Vincents clenches her teeth in pain as her violet eyes fade to white, the brightness of pepe's second blast causing her condition to kick in. "Ow ow ow bright ow can't see"
Goryo Higashikuze stifles a cheer, fists clenched at his hips. He turns his attention to the girl cheering on the railing briefly. "Careful now..." he utters.
Donohebo Honohebo begins to heal the worst of the burns, frowning with effort. "I can heal the worst of it, but I don't have aether for all. Sorry, but you're going to be in a lot of pain. A whole lot. Go check in at the infirmary soon.
Kuroko Koumori: "Not sure if I should call that a fight, or two masochists trying to kill each other."
Kiera Hawkeye: "Perhaps. I am interested in learnning more about him, though...."
Fiona Cooper heads down to the sand to join in fixing people up.
Pepe Bandido shakes his head, clearly still dazed from all of the explosions.
Emvi'zi Lavint does actually duck down underneath the parapet on instinct at the loud noises, he looks alarmed.
Airka Lakshmi shiled her eyes as best she can "...this isnt a tournament its a slaughter fest!"
