Not being at Specialist Hoblitzell's door at exactly 2000 hours was a mistake in which this essay ensued. Therefore, I must correct the error in such this not possibly happen again. Such to be a single moment late invokes another task, of which to each be decided by Specialist Hoblitzell himself. Mere seconds count in the completion of the task, knowing at his door, every hour on the hour. The slipping seconds may transform into slipping minutes from the window of criticizable “Sanctuary.” Forward improvement is the key to everything, the key to unlocking better things in life. More time for relaxation, to be with family and handle and resolve any personal issues which may come forward. Timing is an important factor in everyday living, work, appointments, all things have a time, and a place to be, a right place and time. Being at the right time and place is paramount in any work system be it civilian, military, government or of anything else. If one is not at the right place at the right time, nothing can be done smoothly, everything becomes more complex. Any given task must have a timeframe, be it long or short, it must exist. Adhering to said timeframe to the greatest extent possible allows any given task to flow smoothly, and quickly. Despite the task given, to manage time effectively is to put forth positive progress. Such effort usually leads to rewards, compliments and thanks. A deficient level of such effort would cause tasks to be more strenuous and take extended time and strain, separating one from their family for a longer period than necessary.
Time management is not only important in the army, but it is vital everywhere. No matter where you work or what you do you should always be on time. If you work somewhere and you are late then it is not fair to your employer because they are paying you to be working for them but you are not even there. Being at the appropriate place of duty at the correct time is a vital element of being a respectable soldier. Being at the right place at the right time is most important, reason being is to make certain orders are carried out and to ensure a steady flow. A soldier cannot excell in the United States army if he or she is constantly late and at the wrong place. A soldier who truly wants to succeed in the military must go out of his or her way to get squared away on his or her place of duty. The importance of reporting on time to the soldiers appointed place of duty is not a task to be taken lightly. Every soldiers has important tasks set out for them no matter what the individual soldier may think about why they are doing that particular job it must be done for a reason that may not be told to that soldier until the task is complete. reporting to the task on time and in the correct uniform is not to be taken lightly because if that soldier is late to their assigned task then that would mean that a different soldier would have to take the late soldiers place until they arrive which might not seem like a lot to some people but what if that soldier who was not late had and in most cases would have their own tasks to complete. Now we're talking about not just one soldier but a whole organization not functioning the way that it should be or taking more time than it should have to accomplish those few simple tasks. The same thing applies when a soldier is at his appointed place of duty on time but not in the correct uniform then you're talking about taking more time to go home get into the correct uniform and hurry back which would be the same thing as showing up late. A soldier must always be accountable in the army. It is important to realize that it is necessary for those in the Armed Forces are held to a higher standard. While punctuality remains and always will, an extremely vital aspect of military bearing and discipline. It has direct correlation to soldierly appearance, combat readiness, mission effectiveness, and essentially every facet of Military life and responsibility. I cannot place enough emphasis on how important being on time constantly is. For instance; a soldier is late or perhaps does not report at all to a place at the time ordered. That effectively compromises and diminishes the efficiency of which the task is to be completed. In an extreme case a soldier not being on time to relieve the current guard's post would cause the combat effectiveness and readiness of the unrelieved guard to be greatly reduced. This would be caused by fatigue, or lack of supplies, etc. Consequently the guard post could be compromised and the security of the area or Forward Operating Base could be breached. These things do occur, however, they can undoubtedly be avoided by merely, once again, being on time.
Accountability also goes hand in hand with this topic. The liability of the Soldier is of extreme importance. For every component of his everyday and war time duties depend on his level of accountability. Which ranges from: being on time for the first formation of the day, being on time to relieve a fellow Soldier from his post, or being on time to provide critical reinforcements for a battle weakened and compromised force? As the theory goes, how one trains is how one fights. Using this logic one can only come to the conclusion that if a Soldier is not on time how can he save and protect the lives of his brothers in arms. He can't be depended upon if he is not disciplined enough to be on time every time he is ordered. He also weakens the combat readiness of his platoon if he is not at the right place at the right time. Dependability is the key to discipline and ultimately being punctual. This is because punctuality requires the Soldier to be dependable and the more dependable he is the more disciplined he is. Furthermore, the more disciplined he is the more punctual he is, the more punctual he is the safer his battle buddies will be which in turn improves the mission success rate. As well as the overall effectiveness of the platoon, which increases the safety and effectiveness of the company, then battalion, and so on? In other words, under the unyielding authority of military life there is simply no margin for error regarding promptness. A cliché that is easy to remember: Timely actions allow no room for untimely Soldiers. Although this is merely an example it bears true to the mantra of always are on time everywhere you go. Of course being "on time" in the Army life is being at your destination at the very least ten minutes prior to your actual prescribed time of being present. By no means is there ever an exception to this rule.
Proper time management is very important to personal and career related success. Time management is needed to get what you require out of life. Time management assists in making conscious choices, so that important tasks do not remain undone. Without proper time management such time is wasted. Wasted time cannot be retrieved after it is gone. Not managing time correctly can cause problems with finances, relationships, and within a career. When time is wasted, life is wasted. There can be many severe consequences when tasks are not completed on time. Such consequences could consist of job loss, debt, or a failed relationship. When using time management skills one can become more productive and complete more in a shorter amount of time. With practice it can also assist in balancing everyday tasks, making life easier to manage. Prioritizing tasks can assist in proper time management. A list of the tasks that need to be completed within a certain timeframe can assist with the proper completion of said tasks. Proper use of these tools can also reduce stress, allowing tasks to be completed easier. A high stress level can cause tasks to be more strenuous than necessary. Having proper time management also assist in gaining trust and respect at work. Without these tools tasks become overloaded and harder to complete. Avoiding procrastination can also assist in completing tasks in a certain timeframe.
Time management is a lifesaver for college students. Today with full course loads, part time jobs and numerous other commitments students often find themselves with little time for studying and recreation. Students who choose to plan his or her day by properly managing time will benefit greatly. One of the many steps to make time management effective is to develop a time strategy. The time strategy should be based on a short list of time priorities. This short list of time priorities forms the basis for a student's time planning for every week of the year. Good time management for a student requires three points. The first of the three points that a student should keep in his or her mind is not taking on more than he or she can handle. If a student has scheduled too many classes to take in one semester then the workload can be overwhelming. Next a student should reasonably estimate the time required to perform each of the tasks at hand. If A student does not find out how long each tacks is going to take then he or she will be running behind in time and will not be able to perform all the tacks that are require for that day. And finally he or she needs to actually do what needs to be done. If a student is not a head of schedule, then he or she is behind schedule. Because if he or she tries to remain right on schedule, then any mishap or misjudgment will cause he or she to fall behind. For example when a student has a deadline and he or she does not have a printer at home and the printer in the library is broken, no recovery time is possible. Therefore the skills that must be learned are the lifesaving skills of time management Time management are skills that a student or anyone will carry with him or she throughout life. A task list is a list of tasks to be completed, such as chores or steps toward completing a project. It is an inventory tool which serves as an alternative or supplement to memory. Task lists are used in self-management, grocery lists, business management, project management, and software development. It may involve more than one list.
Once you realize this, you know that wasting time leads to a wasted job, project or even life itself. Put some priority into your daily activities. If one has followed their list and one still doesn't have enough time in a day to do anything, look at the information presented to see where time is wasted. Wasted time is not good in anybody's life. Understanding the fact that an effective program for time management habit may be easy to follow and implement and now allowing one to side-track is really allowing one to enjoy their life once again. So, there must be no waiting to accomplish a task placed before oneself, simplify another process in life. Take action now is the most right thing to do if you want your goals realized. Without an effective and proper time management system, there will not be much goal-oriented lifestyle to hope for.
In short, time management affects all, civilian and military, and my own simple mistake of not being at Specialist Hoblitzell's door must be remedied. By method of arriving several minutes before the hour, to prevent being at the door after the hour, and remove knocking from being even a moment late. Solving any further issues before they may ever occur is simple as long as I follow the said course of action.
