Anyway alright so this guy comes up to the counter and he asks for stuff and he was the only one there so me and my coworker are both helping him‏



And my coworker is just finishing up what she was doing (I was still working on it cuz I had more to do)‏

And this other woman comes up at the same time another does and the first one starts INSTANTLY bitching about "Wow you DEIFNITELY do NOT need two workers helping one person while there are other people in line" but not directly to me or my coworker -- to the lady next to her‏



And she just keeps going on about it the whole time while my coworker is helping a different fucking person‏



So my coworker finishes up and asks "can I help who's next" like politely and everything like she's supposed to, not even a hint of annoyance‏

and the lady starts in with the other one about how "they need to pay more attention so we don't have to keep track of who's next" blah blah shit like that‏



but again, not to us, to the other woman‏

Looked her dead in the eye and said "Ma'am he WAS here before you, that's why she was helping him when you got here"‏



so she goes "well she should've started helping us then when we got here" and I said "And she did so I don't see the problem"‏

Lady goes "She had to ask who was next like isn't that YOUR job to keep track of and not ours?"‏

"Well ma'am if I'm turned around DOING MY JOB like I'm supposed to and not screwing off looking over my shoulder every five seconds, I don't have eyes in the back of my head so I'm not going to see when people are waiting in line if i'm helping a customer, i'm going to focus on MY customer and not everyone else"‏



she goes "that's no excuse, are you blind?"‏



so I just told her "legally, yes" and she just gave me the dirtiest look, said "that's no excuse" again‏
