  1. Raito: All living beings
  2. Raison: Living beings that have gone through the Pilgrimage, proving themselves worthy of entrance to the eternal afterlife. Usually stop at this rank, and are simple
  3. civilians.
  4. Raiton: Raito that have passed the first stage of the path of enlightenment, through intense training, and extensive meditation. They are proven to pass onto Raiton by
  5. the Monk that chose them. After the title of Raiton is given to someone, they can chose to go down two paths, one focusing on combat in power, and the other
  6. focuses on the mind, and meditation. Raiton Monks may chose to stay at the Raiton Monk rank, chosing new Raitos seeking to be enlightened, and be their master during
  7. their training. Due to this, Raiton Monks can vary in strength extremely.
  8. Chikara (Power): If a Raiton choses the power tree, they are given the rank of Chikara. They lay low on the meditation they used to do, but still keep it in their
  9. schedule, but replace a lot of it for power training. These are the basic footsoldiers of the religion, and are usually sent to foreign lands to spread the word of the
  10. religion, and kill heretics. They are usually lead by Rida.
  11. Raida (Power): After a Chikara proves themselves in battle, and stands out from their peers, they are offered the position of Raida. To become a Raida however, they
  12. must complete a task given to them by a Shirei. Raida are given command over parties of Chikara to invade foreign lands to kill heretics, and convert them to Raijinism.
  13. Most Raida are given weapons by Raijin, to enhance their combat, and connection with the god of thunder. To be promoted to Shirei, a Raida must hold an entire island
  14. that was converted to Raijinism. If they hold the island for multiple months, and they are trusted by the higher ups of the religion, they will be given the offer to
  15. become a Shinrei. Although just holding an island might not be enough, as trust plays a big part in being promoted to Shinrei, along with overall strength and
  16. leadership.
  17. Shinrei (Power): The Shinrei are considered some of the most powerful and trusted of Raijinism, due to their strength, and good deeds they have done for all of the
  18. religion. Shinrei are usually sent out on missions by themselves, or with other Shinrei. They are usually in regular contact with Raijin, Oinari, and Futen. There are
  19. usually 5 Shinrei at a time, and rarely exceed or fall below 5. Shinrei are usually feared in battle, as they most likely recieved their position from their strong
  20. presence in combat, and good leadership.
  21. Oinari (Power): The Oinari is a title given to the most trusted, and strongest Shinrei, and becomes a close advisor to Raijin. They are considered second in command,
  22. along with Futen. The person granted the title of Oinari is commonly referred to as either Inari himself, or Inari sending a projection of himself onto the Earth, but
  23. there really is no true explination.
  24. Deshi (Mind): If a Raiton chose the mind tree, the title of Deshi is given to them. The Deshi start focusing most of their time on meditation, in hope to become truly
  25. enlightened. They still do train in combat, but not to such a degree as they used to. The rank of Deshi is not taken as much as the Chikara rank is, but is just as
  26. useful, if not more. Deshi have many uses, ranging from library keeping, to becoming preachers, or a pastor of a church. Deshi in combat tend to focus more on their
  27. haki abilities, due to their massive focus in meditation, training it far easier, but not all Deshi use haki. Deshi have much felixibility, and practically no limits.
  28. Purai (Mind): Once a Deshi has proven themselves to be much more enlightened than their peers, and has proven that they are worthy of getting a promotion, they are
  29. offered the rank of Purai. Purai are often sent with Rida to conquer foreign lands, and convert the religion. Once the current religion falls, the Purai that
  30. accompanied the Raida will become either the king, or spiritual leader of the land. They will lead the country in the name of Raijinism, spreading the religion through
  31. the land, and recruiting new people to either before Raison, or Raiton. Argranac is an example of Purai.
  32. Raihito (Mind): The Raihito, otherwise known as the 3 Wise Men, is the rank given to Purai who are considered highly enlightened, and have great knowledge of the world,
  33. and its workings. Being a Raihito comes with many responsibilities, including having to be a counsel to Raijin, Oinari, and Futen. Raihito are considered the big wigs
  34. of the religion, and people often look up to them, and are usually the public figures of the church. In other words, they serve as a type of "pope", yet have a lot of
  35. political responsibilities, such as deciding which lands to invade next, and giving certain tasks out to the Shinrei, and lower ranks them deem worthy to give a task
  36. to. Although Raihito focus mainly on meditation, they are also skilled in combat. Although they might not be as strong as others, they use their intelligence over
  37. their strength, and try to avoid combat if neccesary. Becoming a Raihito is considered one of the hardest proccesses in Raijinism, as it conists of being hand picked
  38. the existing Raihito, Raijin, Oinari, and mainly Futen.
  39. Futen (Mind): Someone who is given the rank of Futen is a close advisor to Raijin, and has proven to be extremely useful, and trustworthy to the entirety of Raijinism.
  40. Futen is considered to be the most enlightened individual of the religion, arguably more, or equal to Raijin himself. Futen, just as Oinari has to deal with political
  41. responsiblities, with the Raihito. Although they it isn't their biggest responsibility, as Futen usually focuses on bettering the whole of Raijinism, in whatever way
  42. they see fit.
