  1. • Documentation and further help for this program can be found in the
  2. "Documentation" folder that should be located in the Screw Pack Database directory.
  3. If the file is not there, it can be found here: http://bit.ly/1BKzcGI
  4.
  5. • Screw packs are read in from "Resources/ScrewPacks.txt"
  6.
  7. • OMS pictures are read in from the "Resources/Images" folder
  8.
  9. • To add a new screw pack to the list, click "Manage Screw Packs", then "Add New Pack".
  10. You will need at least the pack name and where-used. Adding a screw pack this way
  11. will automatically apply the correct formatting for the pack.
  12.
  13. • To manually add a screw pack, add it to the ScrewPack.txt file. Also be sure to add
  14. a picture of it's OMS to the "Resources/Images" folder
  15. (BMP, GIF, EXIF, JPG, PNG and TIFF accepted).
  16.
  17. • When adding a screw pack manually, the format for the naming is as follows:
  18. Name of pack, Number of pack, Where-Used for pack
  19. ex. A, 68-2143, 2700/2800_Exit
  20. Any spaces in the name or where-used must be converted to
  21. underscores, like so: "640 Strike" -> "640_Strike"
  22. (More details in the ScrewPacks.txt file)
  23.
  24. • When adding a screw pack manually, the full string of the pack in the ScrewPack.txt file
  25. must match the full string of the pack's OMS picture. If there is a '/' character in the
  26. string, replace it with the '-' character in the picture string and it will be
  27. converted automatically.
  28.
  29. • In order to convert a screw pack's OMS excel file to a png to be used to add a
  30. pack to the list, first save the OMS as a pdf. You can then convert the pdf
  31. to a png using this converter: http://pdf2png.com/
  32.
  33. • To add a favorite, select the pack you want to favorite and select "Favorite",
  34. then select "Add"
  35.
  36. • To delete a favorite, select the pack you want to delete and select "Favorite",
  37. then select "Delete"
  38.
  39. • To delete a screw pack, remove it from the ScrewPacks.txt file and delete it's image from
  40. the "Resources/Images" directory
