OTAFA: The First Planets

The OTAFA fleet was looking for their first planet to capture. Their scanners found Gordinia, a planet in the WZ-332 system. They sent the <i>Octinium-class</i> Star Destroyer to take control.

The ship arrived in the star system and found Gordinia, a habitable planet with many forests and little defense. The species here were very primitive and would not be a challenge at all. The Star Destroyer landed and the troop hatch opened. We only had soldiers, no vehicles at all. The army marched through the forests to the main settlement  of Gordinians. They came out screaming with sharpened sticks in hand. We blasted them and moved onto the settlement. The rest of the Gordinians all gathered in the center of the settlement and prayed to a statue. We captured them and took them as slaves. We would need them to trade for credits. Our soldiers demolished all of the building and the workers started construction on the new base. More Gordinian soldiers moved in from the nearby villages and settlements, but they were all either captured or killed. Thanks to our blueprints from the former empire, we were able to build the base in a single day. We had constuction guns that scanned a blueprint and started taking materials from the piles of metals and duracrete. The interior would be made by our designers. The base had 5 hangars, where our fleets of AX-23 fighters, RM-991 interceptors, and DD-B01 bombers were. These ships were our very basic ones, and better ones will be built in the future. The base also had a ship and vehicle design station, where we were designing our new TF8 walkers and our <i>Avian-class</i> gunships. Things were looking good for the New Empire. The <i>Octinium-class</i> Star Destroyer left Gordinia and jumped back to the main fleet.

Meanwhile, in the fleet, our two <i>Devastator-class</i> Star Destroyers left for Ompukata in the CCF-341 system. Ompukata was a planet of civilized beings. They already have gone into space, and we could see a planetary defense fleet. Our star destroyers fired at them. They were taken by surprise. One of their cruisers went down, and the others started firing. Our deflector shields were using most of our energy, so we absorbed a lot of the fire. Our superior ion cannons also did massive damage on their main warship. After 5 minutes, they were defeated and we only suffered minor damage to our first <i>Devastator-class</i>. We opened our hangars and sent out 2 squadrons of our AX-23s and 1 squadrons of our DD-B01 bombers, to bombard the capital and take control. The squadrons moved in, while our star destroyers moved to the other side of the planet. The fighter squadron took out the first wave of enemy fighters. They were unshielded and shaped odd. The bombers flew behind the fighters, while they moved into the capital city. It was all white and shining, the city had to go, though. The fighters battled with the millitary forces while the bombers bombarded the city. The building exploded in giant green spheres. The rest of the capital was destroyed, except for the main government building. We stormed it and the leader of Ompukata surrendered to OTAFA. The New OTAFA Empire was beginning.
