- Seemingly, a period of peace. Enough time to mourn the lives of those that died during the Battle of Hogwarts.
- Rowena Ravenclaw's diadem is found and destroyed.
- 2000
- Another open attack made against Harry by Death Eater's. Though considered minor, the lives of the Dursley's were taken.
- During the attack against the Dursley's, it was believed that Harry had died as well, only to return to life as a result of a part of Voldemort's soul detaching itself.
- Voldemort in a weakened state. Rarely shows his face. It is speculated amongst members of the Order that he has underwent means of split his remaining soul into other horcruxes.
- 2002
- Godric's Hollow, the final battle between Voldemort and Harry Potter takes place.
- Order members and Death Eaters fill Godric's Hollow.
- Hermione Granger is killed and with a yell of anguish from Ronald Weasley, things come to a standstill.
- Harry Potter is also killed by means of Voldemort using the killing curse.
- Defeated, members of the Order start to retreat.
- Ronald Weasley with no other alternative, joins the Death Eaters to ensure the safety of his family.
- Death Eaters actively begin searches for known Order of the Phoenix members.
- Notably, Neville Longbottom is found and put into the same condition his parents are in by none other than Bellatrix Lestrange.
- Remaining Order members quickly go into hiding.
- 2003
- Voldemort, victorious, seizes control over the wizarding world and appoints himself within the Ministry as the Minister. Legitimately begins a reign as The Dark Lord.
- A complete reforming of the Ministry begins.
- Bellatrix Lestrange is appointed headmistress at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.
- The hiring of new staff takes place at Hogwarts.
- Ginny Weasley gives birth to James Potter II.
- 2004
- Werewolves and Vampires are accepted into Hogwarts.
- Muggleborns are no longer accepted into Hogwarts.
- 2005
- The expansion of Knockturn Alley. Weasley Wizard Wheezes demolished.
- 2007
- The attack on Muggleborns begins.
- Ministry workers begin sorting through files to locate existing Muggleborns.
- Later, these Muggleborns will be placed into designated areas and, ultimately killed.
- 2008
- The Department of Blood Purity is implemented and two new laws are passed.
- First law: all existing purebloods will be arranged to marry other purebloods, or others of stronger halfblood qualities.
- Second law: newborn muggleborns are to be exterminated.
- Shortly after the passing of the second law, an unnamed worker in the Ministry rebelled: destroying files of existing muggleborns and newborns alike, giving them the chance to break out into anonymity. It is said that this act saved hundreds of lives. 1
- This unnamed worker was later found and openly executed at the Ministry offices.
- 2009
- More restrictions are placed on those remaining muggleborns, and lower stock halfbloods.
- Captive muggleborns are branded with a mark on their right wrist: a blazing M.
- Curfews are made within their small communities and it's required that these people have their "mark" visible at all times.
- An attack on Muggles is made in London. Voldemort gradually making his presence known with intentions to expand. A record of 1,000 dead was reported.
- 2010
- Attention shifts from muggleborns to muggles themselves. All throughout England Death Eaters are bursting in through front doors and committing mass murder.
- All is a part of Voldemort's stance on "cleansing" the magical world of such vile things.
- The dire conditions that arise throughout England are well hidden due to magic and the Imperius Curse.
- Muggles are instead herded into camps and controlled.
- Muggleborns are able to live by their own means. A small blessing in disguise but they remain branded with their M and are often ostracized.
- Muggleborns that disappeared during records burning in 2008 live unbranded and by hiding in plain sight. Most of them finding others to help conceal them by marriage or other means. Simply lying about their blood purity. 1
- 2012
- Voldemort's power expands through most of Europe.
- Members of the Order, that remain, are at a loss. Remus Lupin, is the sole man that is holding the Order together.
- 2013 - 2021
- Europe is now completely under Voldemort's control and Death Eater numbers are through the roof. It's with the combined effort that they're allowed to get away with what they're doing in plain sight from the rest of the muggle infested world.
- The mood has shifted: what was once fear and rebellion has now turned into acceptance and obedience.
- The Daily Phrophet is no more than hand fed propaganda. Total censorship of all media platforms.
- 2022
- All is well.
- The world that you now live in is how it should be. The youth of today wouldn't know any better and are to assume that this is how things have always been: how they always will be.
