  1. The Department of State is one of the most important departments if not the most important department in the United States. The Department head and President unite and talk about various issues ranging from Foreign Policy to increasing tensions between two countries.
  2. I am writing this letter to show my potential as a future Ambassador for the United States of America to any foreign ally. I have tons of experience such as being a Former Deputy Secretary of State,Former National Security Advisor,CIA Director,NSA Agent, FBI Deputy Director and many more positions that would help me with this job. A variety of these jobs at one point or another has forced me to go into international waters and land and speak with foreign dignitaries. This gets me one step closer to being an Ambassador.
  3. While I have not been involved in foreign and domestic politics one would typically include in an application for this position I am capable of describing my abilities. I am a very political person and would like to relate potential future crisis between NUSA and foreign countries to an event going on in real life currently. Increased tensions between the United States and China. Recently, a Guided Missile Destroyer belonging to the United States Navy sailed within "12 nautical miles" of islands claimed by Beijing in the South China Sea. Since then, China has warned the US about these "dangerous and provocative acts" and that further acts could lead to a minor incident that sparks war. Much speculation has gone around that the United States has done this on purpose to demonstrate a show of force. I personally believe this is one of the reasons why our (IRL US) Foreign Policy should be revamped but also to force our Chinese Ambassador to do just a tad bit more to make it so that a minor incident DOES NOT spark a war between two countries with Nuclear weapons. The only way this problem can be solved is to identify that there is a problem at hand. After identifying the problem the United States can effectively choose a course of actions that would benefit both countries. While I don't believe that sailing 12 nautical miles near a claimed island is a step forward to nuclear warfare, something needs to be done.
  4. You may or may not have noticed my potential to becoming an Ambassador for the US but I strongly request you re-consider.
